Room was really big, with the balcony and the garden view - not really a garden, but sunny in the morning and very quiet. Breakfast was great, many options to choose from. Staff is very helpful and friendly, always ready o assist with any inconvenience. Wellness area is small, but never crowded. Good heated pool - around 30 degrees i think + steam room and sauna - very cool place to rest after a busy day. Big parking - although was almost 100% full around New Year in the evenings - probably because of the restaurant guests.

-First morning there was a fire alarm caused by some malfunction - woke us up at 7 in the morning. -If you need water - you have one bottle as a complement in your room - or you can buy in the bar. For me water should be available for free in such a hotel. -Bathrobes were missing - needed to ask for them at the reception. -Last evening when we got back from the day trip to Gozo, we found our toilet clogged - maintenance specialist was not able to help as he doesn't have any tools. They did not offer us to change the room - just recommended to wait till morning

Hotel Salini lives up to its 4 star rating in several ways, the staff on reception, Dian in particular, were so friendly and helpful, she helped us with transport and other questions we had with a smile everyday. The rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh towels everyday. We stayed bed and breakfast, the choice at breakfast was amazing, hot food, local food, salads, yoghurt, fresh fruits, and a gluten free area. The location is outside the main St Paul's area, but the hotel have a free shuttle bus driven by the very friendly Joe, he's a great Liverpool fan and so nice to chat to. Three pools to choose from, all spotless. We enjoyed a superb couples massage in their Spa, I would highly recommend the staff here. ,

I would have liked some entertainment in the hotel, even piano playing or quizzes at the weekend.

The coffee for breakfast was made with granulated/powder milk and was sweet.. we were taking only espresso adding cold milk at the end. No tea spoons.. even on request..the kids (2y) had to eat yogurts etc with big soup spoons Strange smells (like canalisation) at the reception, cantine, bathroom The dinner in Giuseppis restaurant was disappointing.. The service and ambient were very nice but the food... pieces of ice in sorbet.. veal served like a plate-sized fried Schitzel.. duck with tendons.. way overpriced..

The hotel is based in St Paul's Bay a lovely quiet place with a stunning view away from crowded places however very close to any attraction or spot that you want to visit. Reception staff very helpful always there for any query.Basically everything you need in one place spa, indoor, outdoor pools. Lovely restaurant. Good sized rooms.

Unfortunately, food in a restaurant, we had ordered steak and grilled chicken We asked for well done steak and got medium then was taken back to the kitchen and overcooked couldn't eat that. Chicken was burnt and gummy very bitter. Such a shame coz everything else was absolutely pleasant and in good standards.

The penthouse was amazing — spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The room itself offered a great level of comfort, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The Italian restaurant on-site was excellent, and the breakfasts were also very satisfying. We made good use of the hotel’s amenities, including the pool, which were all well-maintained and enjoyable.

However, some aspects of the service left us disappointed. While the staff were generally okay, they didn’t go out of their way to be helpful. The person at the bar was a bit rude, which took away from the overall experience. Although we were out exploring most of the day, the cleaning staff insisted on coming in during the only time we were back to shower and prepare for dinner — despite us telling them multiple times that we’d be leaving shortly, they knocked and called repeatedly, even asking us to leave earlier. Additionally, the luggage storage area felt insecure, as it wasn’t monitored and could be accessed by anyone. There was also a sense that unless you were part of an organized group or conference, you didn’t quite fit in — even as guests staying in one of the hotel’s top rooms.

Loved the hotel, will stay again. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The hotel had lots of choices in activities and restaurants. The staff were very polite and helpful.

There were university/school students staying at the hotel as well, some who seemed to be in rooms next to me. They caused a lot of noise that went on late into the night. I know rooms aren't soundproof, but shouting, yelling and running up and down the hallways late at night wasn't helpful to anyone trying to sleep. I also had a group of them nearly knock me out of the way while I was about to get into the elevator, which they then took and I had to wait for another. This obviously isn't the fault of the hotel, but it was an annoyance while staying at such a beautiful resort.

The room size was good and the staff were very friendly. The room was cleaned everyday. There was good parking facilities. The aesthetic of the hotel was really nice. I liked the bed was really big and there was a full length mirror in the room which was also good. We were also able to keep a good temperature in the room through the AC/heating system which was good. All the tourist locations were close by which was convenient. We rented a car which was very good as the roads were very nice to drive on but the parking was an issue it’s very hard to find a space to park. The lift was never too packed we were always able to get to different floors easily.

The breakfast could have been better, there were not much options, some halal options would have been nice. The coffee queue was always really long but it wasn’t too much of a problem. There was no drinking water topped up in our room everyday which would have been nice. Also there were no slippers or dressings gowns which would have been nice.

Like - friendly staff in the kitchen, house keeping etc. - everything was clean - tissue and towels replenished daily - any issues, were addressed within good time - infinity pool really pretty - breakfast - lovely (it is the same daily) - itola was very helpful - lifts work and are fast - nice breakfast area - lovely view Dislike - reception staff not very friendly/ chatty compared to other staff in the hotel. - family time in the heated pool is very restricted. - the location. You aren’t close to anything and can’t walk to any corner shops etc. - it is a smart tv which allows phone mirroring. But when I asked staff for help they advised you need a HDMI cable. - the room was chilly on an evening and when I asked if staff could turn up the heating they said it wasn’t possible ( he did offer a blanket though which was nice) - on the first night the noise levels from the room below was terrible. I could hear every conversation. They were banging and clanging and arguing. However, when I called reception they addressed it straight away.

- Room with sea view was very nice. - Bed was very comfortable. - Quiet area. - Breakfast Buffett with delicious food. - Relaxing indoor pool area with limited hours for children (more quiet time) with pre-booking since space is limited to be enjoyed. - Relaxing massage provided by the hotel spa which was very efficient. - Delicious food at Vecchia Napoli (pre-booking required during busy weekend).

- No face cloths provided in the bathrooms which I was expecting at a 4 star hotel considering towels are provided and I have been to the hotel before a few years ago and they used to provide them. - No bath robes or slippers provided unless asked for at the Spa which cannot be taken to the hotel rooms (before they used to give them there). - Indoor pool was very cold on one of the days we went that you cannot swim for a long time.

Breakfast was good. A lot of variety, and food was all good and tasty. Locality is ok. Not much around in walking distance so you have to have a car.

Indoor pool too slippery. Saw a lot of children and people hurting themselves while we were there. So it got scary to just walk. And no 'no balls ' sign. There were kids playing ball savagely over people's heads and when we told them to be careful and that it is disrespectful they answered that there were no signs saying they could not play ball. Indoor Pool is not very large and quite full in kids hours. But temperature was perfect.
