It was clean and had good furnitures. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the Bus station in Bujibba and a 2 minute walk to the nearest convenience store. It had dancing on weekend evenings, which was really nice as you can see people, old and young come to the hotel to have fun. A good way to relax in the evenings.

I’d say my only issue was there was no variety for breakfast. It was the same dish the whole 10 mornings I spent there. I was tired of eating the same thing every morning. The dinners were better as we had a different meals almost every night. I especially enjoyed the Samosas

The location is central to a lot of the locations I visited whilst at my music festival. All staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Comfortable room I’m which was very clean and they kindly give me some little treats and a free dinner voucher. Many thanks to all the staff in making my visit very welcoming ☺️

One small thing I was put in a room opposite a building site at the front of the hotel. I understand Malta has many developments across the island so not too bothered.

The staff are so friendly and remembered us from our previous visits. They cannot do enough for you. Food was great, and lots of options available. Central location to Bugibba, Qwara and St Paul's Bay

Loved the location . Great location to bus terminal. Property was lovely, restaurants were excellent and great food offered. Staff were friendly and polite. Well priced too. Over all an excellent experience.

Problem was for us, we were there when the Students were there on 5th floor and they were so very noisy, shouting and banging doors etc until early hours of the morning. Also, then that meant you could only use the leisure facilities when they were not around, as there was up to 35 people in there at one point. Not good. But that was the only bad thing we could say. But even that would not put us off coming again. Infact I have already booked my whole family in the Canifor in April for two weeks holiday. Thanku to all staff. X

Nice place, great location near bus station, restaurants, shops, bars, 2 minutes walk from the beach. Breakfast was good, huge selection of buffet style food. Outdoor pool looked nice but was really small, we didn't use it. Indoor pool area looked nice, with a sauna and a jacuzzi, but really, really small and the couple of times we went down to use it there were a bunch of teenagers being really loud and rowdy, dominating the whole area, so it was quite unpleasant (just my opinion).

There was no remote control for the t.v. (available for a deposit) and despite there being a kettle in the room, no tea/coffee in the room (available for a fee). Also our room wasn't ready, we had to wait quite some time after 2pm. The gym was tiny and ill-equipped (just my opinion, but i guess not many people are like me and want to use the gym when on holiday). And obviously i was disappointed that the pool area wasn't really usable due to the teens, as mentioned before! Again, that is just my feelings on the matter, but i know a couple of other residents we spoke to expressed a similar opinion.

The very top sun terrace - needs to give the sunbed arms a good clean and provide a bin and/or clean the area

I like the inside swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The breakfast was alright too and customer service was great 👍.

I had to request for TV remote control and leave 10 Euro before given remote control but I was informed that some people take the remote control and my 10.00 Euro was returned when I checked out. The students were making noise at night causes disturbance.

A big Thank you goes to Canifor Hotel's first line of contact and Rapresentees, Catherine Vassallo & Bernice Cortis, being most wonderful & experienced Managers trying their utmost to making the Guest's & Our stay at Canifor as pleasant as it could be; greeting us at the Reception we found Neviana & Rita, which are very helpful; Nathalie Bugeja at the Bar is excellent in her work and approach; Vincent Demicoli & Eugenio Axisa, both Restaurant Managers are most stupendous & experienced persons in catering, assisting you throughout your stay, together with Rita, Raymond, Mario & Jayanti are most welcoming waiters making our stay feel warm, relaxed & family-oriented every time we meet them; Food is by far Great, Amazing & Delicious, and one has to say a Big Bravo to All the Chefs at Canifor Hotel; last but not least, is Vince the Poolboy & Sunny Zammit at maintenence, who help out so much in making Our stay as comfortable as possible... Hence, if you want a cute & welcoming setting to spend a cosy stay in Malta, Canifor Hotel, with its Staff, is the answer...

A no-frills hotel with exceptional staff, a friendly atmosphere and central location for public transport, bars, restaurants and cafés. The facilities in the comfortable room were better than most high-end hotels, with a superb little fridge and a kettle, to name but a few. The food was very good indeed and I will definitely stay again.

Sockets nearer to the bed would be useful, including USB ports.
