Great value for money. We did 6 nights in mid September and it cost £500, this was breakfast included. Amazing room with balcony and mini fridge. Roof top pool was a bonus with a bar. Always spots to lounge too. All staff were friendly. A 1 minute walk to the main bus station, where you can get a week bus pass for €21, which you can catch a bus to anywhere in the country and only a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Loads too do and places to eat. Would recommend a taxi to and from the airport, uber or bolt were the cheapest at about €20. Defiantly a 10/10. Will defiantly be returning!

Just be carful of being pick pocket in Malta. Only saw 1 person have it done too, which people informed very quickly. You will have to bus to site see, as St Paul's Bay isn't the most site seeing area, but don't let that put you off the hotel, as you have plenty to do in the area!

The location was good 2 mins to the main bus terminal , and you can get a bus to any part of the island . Only about 5 mins to the beach front which you will find restaurants and about another 5 mins walk to bugiggia square with loads more restaurants and shops The hotel was clean and friendly staff room cleaned every day and fresh towels the pool is on the roof and there is a bar for drinks and snacks

I booked as room only so cannot comment on breakfast but the hotel is situated ideally beside the bus station, has an outdoor space for relaxing/drinks at reception and also has a roof deck area with pool. The roof deck bar closed prior to my arrival for the winter months but the reception staff did come up and take drinks orders so no issues there. There is a gym and spa which I did not use but I did use the lovely little library nook which was a pleasant area to sit. The staff were great and the hotel is very clean with fresh towels/toiletries provided daily along with replenishment of tea/coffee. My room was next to the lifts and vending machine on the 6th floor but can honestly say that there was no noise issues at all. I am familiar with Malta having been a regular traveller there but if you are unsure about tours or transport there is a lady in the reception area who will assist with any enquiries. There is no entertainment in the hotel and it does not provided any meals other than breakfast or packed lunch as far as I know but there are a host of pubs, restaurants and take-away facilities surrounding the hotel and a supermarket round the corner. This was my first time at the hotel but I was certainly impressed and will be returning and I would not hesitate to recommend it for a relaxing stay.

Amazing location with plenty of great restaurants at a walking distance. Outstanding views from the pool. Was hesitant as hotel is only 3*, but would highly recommend.

Check-in before 3pm is impossible, at any case, which I find very odd. I get it that sometimes rooms are not ready by then, but it can't be the case for all guests even 10mins before and then at 15:00 magic happens. Also we were told we will get a mattress topper as we got a twin bed, but never happened. Only one lift for the pool so be prepared to wait ages to get to the 10th floor unless you want to do a workout. Cleaning could improve as we kept finding hair in our towels.

Great hotel if one wants to have a clean, semi-luxurious stay while also staying on budget. It is aesthetically clean, good view.

I kind of did not enjoy the building site right infront of the hotel, but other than that it was great!

Really nice hotel and clean too Staff were lovely Breakfast was good They stored luggage for us after we checked out too. Rooftop pool is lovely although limited space so you need to be up early or going later in the evening to get a spot. (Peak season so understandable) Bed was comfy, shower was good and we had a balcony and a fridge in the room too.

The air con in our room wasn’t the best, room never felt cool just less hot than outside. Especially compared to the reception which was very well air conditioned. Other than this everything was brilliant.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mayflower Hotel. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Excellent WiFi connection. A great variety breakfast. Easy parking in the street. Large swimming pool enjoying lovely views of St Paul's Islands. Highly recommended.

The pool is beautiful, with a stunning view. Breakfast was generous and well-prepared, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Malta without the need for a rental car, with a bus terminal conveniently located just a short walk from the hotel.

I’d like to leave two small suggestion: 1) the pool area is so beautiful, and the bar could serve wine and cocktails in more elegant glasses. Party-style disposable cups don’t match the charm of the setting and the stunning view. There are reusable acrylic or plastic glasses available that are both safe and more in keeping with the ambiance. 2) breakfast could include more fruit options, like bananas.

I loved the rooftop pool although there was quite a lot of green grime around the edges which indicates it is not being cleaned regularly. I loved the room the bedroom was extremely spacious. Breakfast was as you would expect for a 3 star hotel but also had lots of variety. Staff were always friendly.

We stayed on level 2 and I was not a fan of the small balcony that is about a metre wide so not much space to move around. I also wished they played continuous music throughout the day at the pool and it would go on and off over the span of the day. I wish we had access to the neighbouring hotels entertainment as The Mayflower Hotel lacked entertainment which I believe is something that should be added. Despite this I would 100% recommend this hotel and would come back again in a heartbeat.

The hotel was fabulous, it's air conditioned everywhere, staff were really helpful and there was always someone at the front desk. It felt very safe and was clean. Too many times hotels don't live up to the ads that they place online however the Mayflower was exactly as advertised. We were early for our check in but were allowed to leave our luggage and use any of the amenities while we waited. The reception told us we could use the pool and bar if we wanted but we decided to drop our bags and walk around the corner to a lovely restaurant on the beach ('Nine Lives' and I would also highly recommend). The hotel was just lovely, the staff were so helpful and nice, they helped book us transport to the airport, they had a spa treatment room, I booked a couple of massages which were also fabulous. The location was perfect, just one road back from the promenade. Rooftop pool with loungers and a bar for food and drink all on the roof. I never leave reviews but I booked it and was so happy with this place that I felt I had to. I would definitely recommend it and have already recommended it to family and friends.

The only thing I could put here would be that our bed wasn't a double, instead it was 2 twin beds pushed together which is annoying for sleeping but it really didn't bother us much as this is the case in many hotels.
