I was my 6th stay in Malta and I really impressed and pleased with this apartment Location-u could not find better one, trust me Close to literally everything: bus bays and shops/restaurants, sea and central square, Buggiba and Qawra As The best price-quality option, next year I will come again, can’t wait ♥️ The apartment itself is clean, ergonomic and well-organised, I had everything for comfy relaxing, cooking and sleeping Personnel sweet and ready-to-help all the time

- It is in one of my favorite areas in Bugibba, near to the bus terminal and plenty of restaurants - Every day someone was coming to clean - Accessories in the kitchen were enough to cook

- I think it was missing to use some bleach in the toilet, since after some days it started to get black - the shower area was a bit dirty on the floor - one of the lifts was broken, someone entered by mistake and got stuck. He started to press the alarm button, but the person in the reception didn't seem to hurry to "rescue" him. She stayed in the reception and when I asked about the alarm she calmly said that was the lift. At least to me that is something that should have some priority; Nobody likes to stay stuck in a lift.

Definitely the location. The hotel was close to the beach and various bus stops. There were also many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful. The balcony was big, and there was an airer. There was a kitchenette with basic utensils. Working air conditioning (a little noisy, but overall, it did the job). There was no need for an adaptor for the socket as the sockets were already adjusted for British and non-British plugs. It was very close to a busy street, but it was still really quiet in our room, and we had no problems with sleeping + the bed was comfy. WiFi worked fine.

Some parts of the flat were old, but this is completely understandable, especially at this price in this location. Nevertheless, there were parts of the flat where it was apparent that they had not been cleaned thoroughly. Old is not the same as neglected.

The Triton is an amazing place to stay in while visiting Malta. The location is great - 2 steps away from the beach, bus stops, promenade, restaurants and the National Aquarium. Everything you need is very close by. The room was ideal and well equipped. Special thanks to Janice at the reception - who every day greets you with a smile and is always there to help and advise. Excellent location, super comfortable bed and very clean! My fridge broke in the middle of the night and all my food spoiled but the owner was very good about it and refunded me for the food that had gone bad and they replaced the fridge with a brand new one, which was great!

A small sized apartment excellent for a couple, comfy bed, friendly and kind staff, very good location and value for the money we gave. The only thing we didn’t like is the smell of the bathroom there was no ventilating system, so whenever we used the toilet we were opening the window, which leads to the skylight of the whole building. In result all the bad smell from the other apartments got in and we couldn’t even get close to the door. This didn’t happened once it was an everyday thing. Overall what you pay is what you get its a very good option if your not picky and you can settle for this.

Proximity to the sea, just cross the street. A few minutes walk and we were at the bus station, from where you can get to any part of Malta. Around a lot of different restaurants and bars. Major attraction in the neighbourhood is Malta National Aquarium just 5 minutes walks. A few minutes and we have a large supermarket, not counting small shops. The kitchenette was equipped with basic dishes and pots, you can easily prepare a meal yourself. Cleaning took place every other day, including changing towels. In addition, the service was very nice, every day they greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing.

Currently there are road works, but only during the day there was noise. It did not bother us at all, because we were usually out of the apartment at that time. The only inconvenience was the occasional dust or a little mud when it rained. I suspect that once the works are finished there will be more parking spaces in the area and better access.

Initially we were in a different room but right under our balcony the second morning there was loud construction work going on. We spoke with a man at the front desk, he said that they weren't informed about the construction work in advance either. He was incredibly helpful and understanding and moved us to a different (much nicer) room, no extra charges. Now, the rooms were generally the same but there were some significant differences like the size of the bathroom and balcony. Also, the second room smelled much nicer and cleaner, in comparison to the first room that smelled like it hadn't had fresh air let in too long. Location was great, super close to the bus station and many cafes and restaurants.

The length of the bed (in both rooms) wasn"t enough for a person taller than about 170cm. Not really related to the hotel but there was no sandy beaches nearby, maybe a small one that seemed to be private to the bar near it.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms equipped with a kitchen and kitchen appliances, a large bathroom... All in all, for the price you pay, you get excellent accommodation. Of course, for more modern and newly built apartments or hotel rooms, you’ll need to pay up to three times more. So, this is an excellent value for money. Near the hotel, there’s a promenade for walking, a beach, and various cafés and shops. By bus, you can reach Valletta, Sliema, and St. Julian’s in about half an hour, as well as Mellieha Beach.

Room similar to those in the pictures and clean - no signs of mold mentioned in other reviews. Fully equipped kitchen as well as a hair dryer, clothes drying rack and an iron in the living room area were really nice. Great location close to the Bugibba bus station where you can get direct buses to most of the island. The price was astoundingly low in January, about 25€ per night

Not great sound isolation, you could hear someone walking through the corridor as if they were in the room with you. 3 out of 4 pillows on the bed were really weird, dense and kind of bunched up, I would prefer the normal soft and fluffy ones
