The property is an amazing getaway! The room view of the ocean and pier was beyond beautiful! We had a full day to walk the beach, explore the local businesses and enjoy the small town vibe of the local area. At night, it was chilly, and the hotel had heat, yay. Also, the fridge was an added bonus. The staff was so helpful, friendly and resourceful. Natalia checked us in, she called a restaurant in Puerto Nueva on Christmas day so we could enjoy a lobster dinner. The hotel itself and the history and decor of the property, with a museum, was fabulous. We will be back!

Because of the winter season, the pool was not open.

The historical Rosarito Beach Hotel was an amazing place to stay. We had a beautiful sea view, and a quiet room. We had a comfortable bed, and appreciated that each area of our room had a designated space for our needs to be met. For example, we had a kitchenette to prepare and cook food if desired. We had a little living room area. The vanity and sink area was separate from the bathroom. This was all helpful to two travelers who desired both togetherness and autonomy.

The couch in the room was uncomfortable.

Lovely ocean view and air. The lobby is grand and the historic setting is delightful. I love this hotel and the spacious grounds with multiple large pools and large spa tubs with various temperatures. Charming restaurant and bar and close walking to other interesting outdoor and indoor restaurants.

I'm sure this is rare, but the battery in the electronic door lock died and took some time for maintenance staff to replace while I was stuck outside the room.

I loved the property grounds, very beautiful and tranquil. It was very pleasant having out morning coffee on the pier. The staff was exceptional and I would highly recommend staying at this lovely property.

I saw a guy peeing near the pool. Maybe he was drunk. Maybe have staff near the pool to discourage that type of behavior, especially when children are present.

The hotel is very charming and has a lot of history

Was very disappointed that the room was very outdated. No safety deposit boxes in rooms. Hot water constantly running out. No ice makers. No toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and shower cap. No bath mats, hand towels Bath towels were very wear-out including the beach towels. No Robe and Slippers: For added comfort. No Coffee/Tea Station. No mini fridge.

We chose a suite. Was very pleasantly surprised it came with a balcony and a wonderful view since we walked up to the front desk and just wanted a room. The grounds were very specious, clean and very convenient to walk from both our suite and the restaurant. Loved the prices for breakfast. We understand and expect to pay prices for food accordingly. Thank you you managed to serve us very good quality food at very good prices.

I would be hard pressed to come up with something we disliked. We are already planning a return to the property in November and also February.

The beachfront view was magical. The room itself was basic, bed, small table with 2 chairs, 3 drawer chest and a small TV. It was clean! No microwave, no fridge. Cannot recall if iron and iron board. But we were there for the view so it worked for us.

I had requested a wheelchair accessible room which they did not have available upon arrival. We agreed to a regular room which did fit a wheelchair into the bathroom and they gave us a chair/stool to use in the shower. It was OK for us but definitely a fall risk.

Close to everything including clubs and shopping. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Karaoke on weekends with good music!

Furniture needed updating. Couch had a bad smell to it. Gardener doing yard work with the loudest leaf blower on an early weekend morning. Would’ve been nice to sleep in on vacation.

The staff were very helpful with everything from bringing the luggage up to cleaning service. I loved that they called to confirm the services you’d like to have completed in your room. I also felt safe with the level of care security took to monitor the hotel.

Just check in was kind of long. Then our patio furniture was a little older and had some damage, making it hard to lean back in.

Our room was absolutely beautiful. The property was beautiful. We loved the amenities. Everything was in walking distance. We felt so safe. Highly recommend anyone to stay here. Can’t wait to go back.

The food items we tried were o.k. And I wish they would of had loungers by the ocean for hotel guests to sit by the beach. Other than that everything was perfect.
