The location is amazing … and the views from our room exceptional …

More food offerings and open for dinner …

The kitchen was lacking in amenities. The utensils need replacing and are incomplete for cooking. Decent knifes for cutting and peeling fresh fruit would be appreciated. Also needed dish towels for drying and dish cloths for washing. Trays for making ice would be appreciated. Also need additional appliances like a toaster and coffee maker to make the kitchen more functional.

The showers were suppper HOT. As in never cooled down or found a way to cool it down. I decided to ask by the second day and the receptionist had no explanation or interest in my concern. Our 3 year old couldn't shower in it. We adults barely could handle it, even in the humidity. It was humorous, but intense.

A little dated and the rooms had a real musky smell but you can’t beat those beach and sunset views! A room with a patio is a must. Could use some more amenities for the price, no shampoo or conditioner- only a bar of soap.

The property was beautiful and clean with great attention to detail. The decor and amenities made you feel right at home. The shared commons area was a great surprise where we met other guests and played games in a beautiful environment. The photos don’t do it justice. The beach and sea were some of the best we’ve ever seen, with few people. We’re already planning a return trip later this year.

Only that we didn’t stay long enough.

Centrally located near shops and restaurants and with oceanfront rooms. The restaurant was closed for renovation but breakfast vouchers were given for a restaurant next door . Had great breakfasts at their restaurant when it was open two and three years ago Large pool with plenty lounge chairs. A friendly and helpful staff made our stay memorable.

Everything super clean and well looking, after years that I’ve been there of course I’ll look forward to get soon again in there

No shampoo and body lotion on the bathroom

Staff were friendly and the cleaning staff were prompt and effective.

The Grand Isla Navidad is a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and amenities. There are some areas that need maintenance, but this does not detract from having a wonderful stay. The food is good and the pools are clean and enjoyable.

The staff are welcoming and inviting. They are very understanding and patient when we are trying to order food in Spanish. The food is fresh and delivered in a timely manner. The menu is in both English and Spanish. The view is wonderful when sitting outside and inside it is nice and airy.

I don't think they need to change a thing!
