Excellent location on Zicatela Beach, just across the street from the beach. Very modern hotel, very clean, great maid service. Price is reasonable for the room and location. Free breakfast every day is great. Front desk staff is very attentative, greets you every time you pass by. Great free beach towel for the beach or around their 2 pools. AC in every room is good, needed for hot climate.

The Rockaway Beach Club is not open yet.

Great location - we were able to walk to Main Beach & La Punta beach clubs. The pool was lovely to sit around & swim. We loved our room #216. The breakfasts and staff were very nice. We liked the location for restaurants and bars.

Unfortunately we were initially put in a front room on the road which was very noisy. We could not sleep with the traffic and night club music. The staff were very accommodating and moved us at 11pm on our first night to a quieter room away from the noise. We were very appreciative of the change of room location.

Staff was excellent, free breakfast, pool was nice and clean. Right on the beach, close to other attractions and restaurants. Was quiet enough at night to sleep.

I would advise to pay the little bit extra and get a room with a balcony - we got the most basic room which was okay, but we would've liked more space and a private area to sit outside. The basic rooms are very small on the ground floor by the pool. They also have one odd basic room on the second floor that is large, however it only has a tiny window.

It’s a really great location on Zicatela beach - easy to get to many of the other key Puerto Escondido beaches and sights and the pools are lovely and the perfect temperature and close enough to not be a worry for a quick dip whenever you feel like it. The room itself was comfortable, spacious and clean, well cleaned and maintained and a perfect hideaway from the heat of the day. The daily (included) breakfast is also nice, and easy to try it all over time. We did pay to upgrade after our first night, however (see below).

It’s otherwise perfect, but people should be very aware if they opt for the (very good) beach view that Zicatela parties *all* night (like, until 4am-ish) at a high, throbbing volume, and the glass on the beach-facing windows is single glazed and can’t keep the sound out. Be prepared to party, take earbuds, or ask to change rooms! Not the hotel’s fault, ultimately, but visitors should be aware.

Minor room maintained. Lots of exterior noises from discos some nights. Not ideal for handicapped, lots of stairs and uneven surfaces.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They made our stay more enjoyable.. Had breakfast included. The food was good. The pool was clean, not many chairs, but always one or two available when we wanted. Location was good lots of restaurants in walking distance.

The club noise if you are in one of the front rooms is loud. It goes on until 5 or 6 am. Not all nights but most.

The hotel is in one of the best parts of the city close to bars and restaurant and on the first street right next to the beach. The staff is nice but they are a little slow which isnt a problem really , after all it is a small relaxed city. The pictures arent exactly the same as it appears in the real life but I must say that rooms are modern and clean and lots of space and everything works fine so no complaints there.

nothing in particular we didnt like but there is obviously room for improvement as some parts of the hotel show a little old and tear and the wait time for the breakfast is about an hour (no kiddning).

All of the staff, especially the older man that helped us with baggage. Very pleasant man, always greeted me and offered help.

There is one spot right outside the restaurant on the floor that is very dangerous. I tripped on it one night and almost went flat on my face (I’m 79). Needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt.

Fabulous location for restaurants and the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was good. The rooms very spacious and clean with fresh towels every day. If you are on this sort of budget it is the best place to stay in Puerto Escondido.

Great facilities, especially the pools, the gym was sufficient, the room was great,the location was great except for the late night noise on the street front, not the hotel’s fault but something to be mindful of if you’re a light sleeper.

I know we’re in a Spanish speaking country but how about making a couple of Menus in English? Very noisy street front from late night party people.
