This boutique hotel was a hidden gem! We loved the small and quaint feel while still having all the amenities needed and more! Would absolutely stay here again. It is on the outskirts of town and thus we found some restaurents we probably wouldnt have visited had we not stayed on this side of town!

It is a bit far from the town centre, therefore if you dont have a mode of transportation (i.e a car or bike) then you will have to either walk (30 mins) or call a taxi

Nice, clean, accomodation with friendly staff. It os really new. Also a nice excursion by boat on the bacalar lagoon! the location is good. Only 5 minutes by car to go to the square in the center or a 20 minute walk. but in the evening the walk back to the hotel will be dark, so you need the flashlight of your phone.

The Hotel is quite beautiful and full of antiques, it feels like a walk into history and complete world apart from the outside. The 24h coffee station is a wonder.

The pool is quite small, bugs and mosquitoes in the room and distance to town center is a bit far and due to it's closeness to the highway you can hear the noise of the trucks passing by.

Great service: that makes all Jesus was just wonderful. The lake is a 5 mins walk and for three times nothing you can access to a park and take a dip to cool off: We loved our stay here! The hotel does not serve breakfast BUT the staff can arrange for you to order in: Food and Price is great! They offer as well good prices for cruises on the lake: We did this option an had one of our best days in Mexico! The aircon works very well! Our car seemed save on the parking:) .

Dont be fooled the hotels pool is ver small but due to the proximity to the lake not necessary at all!

The hotel and the service is simply amazing, everyone is so friendly and the location is superb. I do recommend this hotel to everyone, they offer different type of coffees and there is a fridge with juices and sodas. The rooms, the pool, everything is perfect. Thank you Alma de Zorro for a lovely stay!!!!

We got to our hotel and realized that we forgot our passports, computer and other belongings at your previous hotel 3 hours away!!! We were going to Belize the next day, so we were really in need of our passports. The manager, David, told oss to relax and said that he would find a solution. He told us to enjoy the only day we had in Bacalar, like nothing had happend. I have never experienced such hospitality ever before, David fixed our problem and he got our passports the same day. Thanks to him and his staff we could enjoy beautiful Bacalar. I really recommend staying at Alma de zorro. It is a beautiful hotel and you will get all the help you need to make the most out of your stay in Bacalar.

Really nice hotel, room was big and comfortable, decoration was made with lot of taste, it was really clean

pool is smaller than on the pictures location is a little bit far by walk to reach downtown, we didn’t have towels at the beginning, and no bath carpet

I really liked this hotel, perfect location, nice facilities and the staff is super nice. The price was very fair, I do recommend this hotel in the beautiful Bacalar.

We stayed here for the last few days and everything was perfect! The host David was one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Thanks to him we got to know and see everything we wanted in Bacalar in just a few days. We would recommend everyone to stay at Alma de Zorro for who is coming to Bacalar!
