Close to Tren Maya. Right on water. Dock, kayaks, pool, shared outdoor kitchen with morning coffee and water. Superb staff. Very quiet except for water slapping under foundation. Good a/c.

I don't like to see or smell mold and it's pretty inevitable on a waterfront property. My room was literally on the water. And I'd go back to it in spite of this minor complaint.

A peaceful stay right on the lagoon. Was nice waking up and being able to watch the sunrise from our bed. A short 5 minute drive to the city center. Good value for the price. Staff was pleasant and set up our boat tour. Secure parking. WiFi good.

Not much to complain about. Breakfast was simple, coffee and toast, but no biggie.

The location is ideal. Little bit further away from the main town but this is a good thing. You would ideally need a car to stay here. The staff are really nice and helpful. The restaurant on site is delicious. The lake is beautiful and the free rental of SUP boards and kayaks is brilliant. We had the most amazing stay here, thank you.

The accommodation is very basic but is adequate. There are ALOT of mosquitoes so make sure to bring repellant.

The location was perfect ! Right on the water allowed us to swim and kayak whenever we pleased. Gorgeous views from the balcony.

Unfortunately the drains in the bathroom and sink had a lingering odour that made the room smell slightly. The shower head was not fully functional also, with the head coming loose/off often.

Amazing property right on the lake with only a few rooms which made for a quiet stay. We had an amazing view out our door to watch the sunrise and the room was large so accomodating for our small group and very well priced for the area.

Our room wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived, there were lipstick stains on the glasses (left on the drying rack in a mess) and a few comfort things we couldn’t find like filters for the coffee machine. It’s worth noting that it’s a short drive into town so best to have a car. But again, for the price and peace this place was wonderful.

We had a car, so the location worked great! It’s a beautiful location. We booked an apartment with a view and it was great. The restaurant on-site was reasonable.

No hot water while we were there (it was New Year’s Eve, though, so it would be difficult to find someone to fix it), some oddities with the room, but we were able to work around them!

This was an excellent area right on the lagoon. They staff was excellent very friendly and helpful. I got to meet the owner he was very gracious and his cousin the manager was very cordial and informative and very helpful. I will be back for sure.

We had a great stay and were really happy with our room with a view of the lagoon! The staff was helpful and friendly and we got a lot of help with information about activies in Bacalar. The whole hotel area is very beautiful and we had a really great time hanging out by the dock in the hammocks and swimming in the lagoon. Big recommendation!

We had a fantastic stay, a very quiet, homely place with excellent staff who were friendly and gave us lots of help and recommendations when we asked. Guillerimo and Romero were fantastic. The lagoon is pristine and we spent every night enjoying The atmosphere down on the private dock.

We stayed in the leftmost room which had a partial sea view through the entrance door on the ground floor. Whilst fantastic for accessing the patio, the room smelled moldy and it felt like a basement accommodation. Water pressure was really low too.
