It's all very modern and the rooms are quite big with everything you need. It's not far from restaurants and cafes. Good value for the money.

We had trouble sleeping as it is very noisy. You hear everything that's going on in the hallway, the pool and outside. On the second night, a big party was going on next door or above us. So we couldn't sleep until 3am. And then cleaning begins already before 7am. Just not enough quiet time to sleep well.

Really nice hotel, super friendly and helpful staff! They also speak good English which is kind of helpful if you can’t speak Spanish very well. Only 15 minutes walk to the Center of bacalar with lots of good restaurants and cafes on the way. The rooms are stylish, clean and quite large. There is AC and a fridge in the room. We loved our balcony with the comfortable chairs and the pool. Breakfast is quite good, you can choose between pancakes and different kind of egg dishes (vegetarian options). Also you can order some fruits (optional with yoghurt and granola) and tee, coffee and orange juice.

The only thing we missed was a vegan milk option for the coffee and the granola (like almond milk which is basically available everywhere in Mexico).

It had a nice pool, spacious rooms, good location.

Very bad wifi. One night it was almost completely out (couldn't load any videos on iPhone or tv in the room), next night it is working inconsistently. If your life does not depend on being online, this hotel is a great place otherwise

Great pool, very large rooms with nice hot showers. Breakfast was good and the pancakes were delicious. Staff was very friendly and also took care for our laundry for a good price. The hotel is close to a public area for the lake where you have to pay 20 pesos and then you can spend here all day. Walking to the main center is about 15-20 minute walk which is a little longer. You could also take a taxi. Would highly recommend this hotel!

It was neat to the entrance for the lagoon, also good restaurants nearby. Also really good size of the room and comfortable bed and pillows

The hotel is located far from bars and noisy area, i would recommend it for anyone who wants to rest. Mattresses are comfortable and the staff was always friendly and helpful.

If you’re not a morning person you’ll hear some doors slamming

Only 3 minutes walk away from the lagoon, rooms were nice and spacious, comfy beds and pillows. Good cocktails and breakfast à la carte in the hotel bar.

The windows in the toilet and shower are not closeable, there is only a mosquito net and wooden gutters so people cannot see through. That means you can hear everything from outside (no loud music as it was not close to any bars, but dogs and traffic). The fact that they are open also means that the room heats up more easily. That being said, the air con and fan worked very well so this wasn't really an issue in December.

Everyone working at the hotel is super nice and helpful - we arrived a bit early for our check-in and they looked after our bags whilst we were chilling in the pool, and helped us booking a boat tour on the lagoon. The room was clean and very spacious. The closest playa is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, the Zocalo about 10 minutes, and there are lots of really nice restaurants, cultural centres and bars around -- it's a great quite but lively location.

Good location, very easy to park in the street and walk to the city center. The pool is nice too

Pleasant location, easy walking distance from the lagoon and the market. Room presented well and was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful in organising a lagoon cruise.
