Really clean. Staff super friendly and kind.

We couldn’t eat on one restaurant because was booked. For all inclusive quantity of money, people should have access with no issues anytime. Also some areas are allow just for stakeholders. All areas should be allow to all inclusive parties.

Staff attitude and service, the italian restaurant and the grill restaurant. The beach was gorgeous and clean.

It's remodeled mainly in the common areas. They did minimum remodeling in the rooms.. don't think it's worth the price considering the rooms. I stayed at The Level and the concierge was great but only available every other day. I don't think The Level package is worth the upgrade in this hotel but it is in other Melias. They have an open palapa restaurant with no AC or proper ventilation. It was just not an enjoyable experience because of the heat. The main market restaurant lacked of variety, pretty much the same menu everyday. Bar service needs at least two barmen at the pool. They had only one guy who couldn't keep up with the orders.

The room was very comfortable and room facilities were good with a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The beach is on the door step and was clean despite the seaweeds. The swimming pool is big but it was generally busy. Some sunbeds were allocated to "Premium" members so you have to get there early to reserve the good ones. Three restaurants were nice to have. The little waterpark is a very nice touch. The location is excellent, not far from down town Cancun.

Access to the premium restaurants was a bit challenging if you want dinner reservation a day or two in advance. The main restaurant food was samey after a couple of days - not a lot of vegetarian options but the host did offer to speak to the chef for some specials. There was a long wait at the beach bar but the main bar was fine. The drinks were standard and premium drinks are only for premium customers (even they were not that premium)

It’s well kept, looked like a renovation just down. Room is spacious, fresh and clean. Bed is comfortable, bedding is smooth and crisp white. The staff are very friendly. We arrived between meal time, were very hungry. The chef made us 2 plates of food: delicious; that included: white fish, vegetables and rice. The food overall is very tasty. Fresh fruits are a great treat!

The lighting switches are too complicated. Hard to figure out which to turn on or turn off a specific light. The bedside lamps should be individually controlled. Also the coffee maker I couldn’t figure out how to use. I’m usually a tech savvy person. The garden needs to be designed better in retaining soil. The soil was washed by rain, it went all over toward the pool side and walk way in the courtyard.

The rooms exceeded my expectations. The room was very spacious, with a pleasant temperature, a bathroom with a walk in closet, a dining room, kitchen, fridge and balcony. Also, the color of the sea is beautiful.

If you are a person who is sensitive to the way you are spoken to and treated, then this hotel may not be for you. The people in the hotel, except for the bellboys and those at the door, have a very bad attitude; a bad face, they answer badly, and so on. Lastly, the prices of everything in this hotel is way above what you pay in other places in the same area (food, drinks, additional services). Another thing to take into account is that the hotel's beach is very crowded, it does not have the tranquility and space of the private beaches (especially on weekends, as it is visited by local tourists).

The hotel is gorgeous and recently renovated. The food was amazing, the service incomparable. Friendly and very professional staff. Shout out to Victor Salazar, Fernanda at the Grill, Efrain at the bar, Nate at the pool and Balinese tents, Valentin at the buffet at the Cape Nao, buffet and bar. Exceptional stay. Victor, Lily and Fernando Sandoval stayed on top of all the details and made it possible for my family to have, what I know is going to be, an unforgettable, magical experience.

the property and it’s amenities were good! There could be more food choices, restaurants pretty much have a buffet, pizza and burgers and after you get sick of eating the same thing

the staff, on about 3 or 4 occasions staff gave us wrong or bad information, one point almost costing us a day trip but on another day making us miss our excursion to chitchen itza, they told us to wait at a certain point which was the wrong place and the tour guide left without us. We had to pay $60 to re-arrange and instead of them apologising they told us it was our responsibility and took no ownership over what they told us and never offered us anything as a sign of goodwill.

Veeery spacious and confortable rooms - Great beach - Hotel staff are very helpful

The hotel is in dire need of renovation. A fresh paint would do wonders for the exterior. Although the rooms seemed to have been renovated not that long ago and were actually pretty nice, there were still parts of the ceiling that were leaking and mold in or next to the bathroom. - If you drink espresso keep in mind that they sell coffee only in the morning, but the espresso is horrendous. There's a Starbucks 20 min away by foot or 5 min with the R bus that runs across the hotel area.

We got upgraded to a large ambassador apartment that had vintage style furniture which did not look like in pictures but was well maintained. The hotel facilities are nice, restaurants, large pool, hot tub, beach chairs and umbrellas, volley court and balls, sand toys, playground. Next to the hotel they have an aqua park that was good. They also have a small market in the hotel. The hotel offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with good food for a good price. Most things at the hotel are free for kids 6 and younger and half price for kids up to 12 years of age.

Nothing I did not like. I suggest the hotel to add two pieces of information as part of their check in process. Inform guests at check in about the offered meal plan. The hotel has an offer where one can buy 10 buffet meals at a time. This reduces the cost by 20%. We learned about it from some friends traveling with us after spending full price for first day meal. Inform guests that the gift shop offers money exchange. I learned about it in the last days of our stay. The rate is ok given one gets also convenience. We paid in US dollars at worse rates when buying stuff outside the hotel because of not changing money. I would have used the hotel gift shop more to exchange money.

Nice comfortable room with cooking facilities, the swimming pool is really nice. There are daily events at the pool which may or may not be for everyone. Would be great with kids. Kitchen facilities are great as there are no cheap eat options nearby. The R1 local bus stop is right outside the property very easy to get in and out of the downtown area to get out of the tourist bubble.
