This was my third time staying at Green 16. I love the location and it is a very good value. I go to Mexico from time to time to photograph birds. This is nearby many very nice birding areas. It's close enough to the grocery store and other decent places to eat. This hotel is not extravagant in any way. However, I like it and will continue to return in the future.

The WiFi, while better than in previous stays at Green 16, is very inconsistent. There are maybe 5 TV channels and some routinely glitchy. The water temperature in the shower was also better than in past stays at Green 16. I stayed there for 6 weeks on my most recent trip. For one of those weeks I did not have hot water and for at least 2 of those weeks I had fairly significant struggles with the WiFi. All in all I had a great time and I like Green 16 for what it is.

everything was PERFECT the staff was great- everyone was very kind and helpful - I can easily say these people are the nicest hotel staff I have ever met the location is PERFECT - literary next to a shop that is open from early morning to late night, next to it there is a typical fast food place that is cheap and also works until late night, walking 2 minutes further up the street there is a supermarket the hotel also offers free transport to the main boulevard and some beaches but it is also like 10 minutes walk to the bus stop on the main boulevard (blvd. Kukulcan) the location is perfect as it is very close to everything but at the same time it is in a very quiet and safe area of the hotel zone great thing about the hotel is that it also has 24/7 private security the room was cosy the bed was very comfortable the AC worked perfectly and the bathroom was nice and clean the restaurant in the hotel must be tried as the food the chef makes is great the pool was clean and it is a good option to stay and relax in the hotel if you don’t feel like going to the beach the hotel manager is there almost all of the time and if you need something he is also friendly and helpful our luggage got lost on the way to Cancun and the hotel manager was the one to drive us to the airport and wait with us and help to get our luggage located and then drove us back to the hotel definitely the best value for money you will ever get honestly I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone

Peaceful with friendly neighbor tiny restaurant/bar Clean sparse room with good towels and sheets 5 min walk to R-1 Bus Route between City and Hotel Zone on busy Kukulcan Blvd- Cross that for another 5 min walk to nearest beach Playa Linda via the Ferry Terminal-- walk past hotel beaches for more seclusion.

Ave Pok Ta Pok #4 will take you to the WRONG address- a Private Residence Keep Walking! "Green 16" is a clearly lmarked building. YOu need to go further up the road is all I will say, Google and Apple Maps were NOT happy with the copied address but the Booking.com Link WAS correct-- just much harder to use- had to switch between. I am sure they will fix this by more simply putting in the Latitude and Longitude which the above maps understands My Spanish was NOT good enough to figure this out over the phone call to them : ( But that;'s MY problem : ) This is Just FYI & nothing against the Property. Be Warned!

Overall a nice place to stay with a 5 min walk to the bus stop giving acces to anywhere on the strip for 12 pesos The outdoor taco shop right beside is very cheap and very good quality The room had a big tv with ok internet

Their is no safe and their is no fridge so keep that in mind

It's in the "hotel zone" though about 2 km from a beach I found that I could visit by walking through a big hotel (Dreams Sands Resort). The restaurant had a good menu and decent prices. The staff were helpful.

To get between Reception and my room I had to go outdoors which wasn't good when it was pouring rain!

Very good sized room. Good shower. Half mile to bus stop. Close small markets to get food and drink. Huge grocery store 1.5 miles to get to. Has every thing you could ever want plus food to eat there. We always ❤️ head there first day to stock up. Walk through parking lot towards alley and catch a cab back to hotel. That is after going to Mr. Gordo's restaurant, eat breakfast, walk to Starbucks have 3rd coffee then go shopping.

Step up to bathroom. We are older +62 and knees are not good had to step up large steps to get to room. No fridge in room.

They were very servicial and always willing to help you out if you have any situation.

The whole place was great.

Only thing I wish was they had wifi in the rooms.
