We had such a great experience during our stay at Wyndham Alltra! From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast options were delicious and varied, which made mornings easy and enjoyable. We especially loved starting our day with a stop at the coffee bar. The poolside taco bar was a highlight for daily lunches! The entertainment crew deserves a big shoutout. They kept the energy going all day and night with fun activities, music, and shows that had both kids and adults engaged. Speaking of kids, ours had an amazing time enjoying the water slides and visiting the sweets shop—it quickly became a daily stop. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing getaway that checked all the boxes for our family. We’ll definitely be back!

If we had to note a few drawbacks, we would have liked to see more variety in the dinner options and a few more shaded seating areas around the pool. We also happened to be there during seaweed season, which made the beach experience less enjoyable—but we understand that’s out of the resort’s control and will plan around it in the future.

Clean

We weren't happy about the extra charge for beach/pool beds,$100.00 a day when we paid big bucks for the swim up pool room to get a black wrist band, I felt it should be included in that price of $1800.00 for 4days. When we checked in they told us we didn't need a reservation at restaurants, but when we went to the Italian restaurant they told us we did need one.

Everything and there was no need to leave the hotel at all, the inclusive features made your stay all the best

The bed was a little hard, our shower leaked water, staff were always trying to upsell massages, tickets to events and activities and the kids larger slides looked a little dated

Staff is incredible helpful and educated, always in a good mood and ready to support any request. Food is great and additional food options (side of the pool, at the beach, etc) are great too. Room was really nice and ocean view was magnificent.

Play area for kids are not available in an standard hours, only a few activities are available during the day. We traveled with my 2 little girls (3 & 2 years old) and was impossible to enter this area, even under parent supervision. Additionally, playground should be covered with some roof due that they are exposed to sun all day long; thus, playground is "on fire" and impossible to use since all amenities are hot to touch. This area is always empty I guess for that reason.

Our room, which had an infinity pool right on the beach was outstanding. The coffee bar was great. I have to say the staff were so kind and welcoming. All of them.

Perhaps allowing reservations for dinner for larger groups. We had 8 people in our family. It was unfortunate that part for the kids pool area was closed for renovations. But I get it.

The room was very clean and had a wonderful view to the ocean and the swimming pool. Staff were incredibly friendly, particularly with our 8 years old daughter. She loved eating at Ventana restaurant as there was a great variety of food and she could try new things every night. The day we left the chef even prepared her a special plate of strawberries covered in white chocolate with a goodbye message. She loved it. Great praise also to the entertainment team/ equipe de esportes who was organising little games by the pool. Our daughter and the adults too very much enjoyed them. The prize for the winner was a Wyndam Alltra cap. We played many of the games and got second place many times and our daughter got a bit sad about never winning. I explained this to the concierge at check out and the lovely lady got our daughter one of the cap - free of charge. We also enjoyed very much the night entertainment - we saw 3 different 50 minutes shows in the ballroom during our stay and one by the pool with acrobats! On the last day check out was at 12, but out plane was at 19:00. They changed our wrist band to one that allowed us access to all facilities and drinks free of charge till we were collected by our taxi at 5pm. All we can say is that we had a fabulous stay and we wish we had more time to stay longer... This hotel was perfect for us a family!

Relatively compact and well laid out

The cabanas on the edge of the pool - obstructing everyone’s view on the loungers behind them. The lobby bar is poorly furnished so lots of space but a lack of seating. 9:30pm live music was way too loud.

Property was very clean and had beautiful sights all around. The food and drinks were great, there are plenty of activities to partake in throughout the day, and the staff were very friendly. The pools and beach are kept very clean as well. We felt safe and welcomed the entire time we were there.

The pillows are quite firm and large which made it difficult to get a solid night of rest.

Food and meals were high quality especially the buffet. I highly recommend using buffet more often than other restaurants. Room service and cleanliness were exceptional. Staff are helpful and friendly. Complimentary banner for my especial occasion was surprising. I loved resort's architecture and design, very Spanish/Mexican vibe! Definitely didn't look like a city condo building!

Massage and spa services were not part of the package, cabana and beach seats were not free or at a reasonable cost, photographer service was too expensive and offered no discount.

The staff was great. Always polite, remembered who our family was when we would see them multiple times. Pool entertainment was very good. A lot of participation from people so clearly it was enjoyed. Only downside to that was there is only one adult pool, so when entertainment was happening, you could not really be in the pool as it was full of participants.

Restaurants say they do not take reservations and it is first come first serve, but they do have a waiting list for people, which still backs up the restaurants for hours. They open at 5 and by 6, you are waiting until after 9pm to get a table. Would be better if they just went to reservations so people know where they stand in terms of eating times.
