Loved the food! The butlers were very helpful with the preferred guests. The preferred lounge was also great!

Buffet wasn't open for dinner, just breakfast and lunch.

Location is about 45 minutes from Cancun airport, just to be aware. Food is good overall. Breakfast buffet was consistently great with lots of options for many kinds of dietary needs. Dinner restaurants were good. Himitsu had the best apps and loved the teppanyaki. Bordeaux's entrees were delicious as well (especially the filet!). Oceana was confusing with 5 non-seafood entrees on the menu and only 3 seafood options. Preferred lounge and pool were great, though it would be great to have more menu options at the restaurant. They were underwhelming. Service was great at all places - restaurants, pools, bars.

Main bar seemed to close too early at 11. Drinks were not strong unless asking for a double.

We loved the grounds, activities and shows. The food was also excellent. The Preferred area was the best with the separate pool, lounge area and daily food in the relaxation area along with the butler service. The staff was amazing. The recreation staff - Ericka, Santiago. The pool attendants - Joel, Victor, Elias. Coco (open 24/7 - Enrique. Pool Bartenders - Demitro & Miguel. Waiters at the restaurants - Isreal, Fernando, Angel. Butlers - Ana & Gustavo. Housekeeping - Martha. Thank you each and everyone. I know there were more who made our trip special and I thank you all.

Even though you didn't have to make reservations at the restaurants, if there was a wait they didn't put the Preferred guests first on the waitlist. Which in my opinion should have been placed first. It should have been a perk for paying the extra to be Preferred.

The most beautiful resort I’ve been to, the staff was so welcoming, nice, helpful; our room was not only beautiful but it was clean and cleaned daily, the sheets smelled amazing not like other hotels where the bed sheets smell like bleach. Beach was amazing and a walk out. All the food was amazing and drinks were packed and not watered down at all. Everyone from our butler to our housekeeper to the restaurant personal and pool boys were so helpful, nice, and courteous.

The drive from the airport to the hotel is a little long for my liking I believe it’s about an hour but so worth it.

Loved the small quaintness of the property! Just the right size. We loved the friendliness of the staff (Miguel in building one was our butler, superb! Taco, our room service guy was always so nice; Sixto at Seaside Grill and Carlos at Market Grill outside patio were amazing service!!! Angel/Taquito on the beach cared for all our needs and wants!! Montserrat on the beach cared for us well…she would always bring us a beverage before we even asked…always the right time). We could have not asked for a better vacation!!! Already planning our next visit.

The only thing we disliked was being in the ocean with so much poop coming down from some location. The 3 days I was in the ocean, the count of poop rose to 31. Dodging them were very gross. Maybe consider putting up some kind of fence at the edge of the property to prevent this happening to future guests.

Staff offered a facial add-on to my massage which I agreed to because she said it was only 10 minutes longer. Was not transparent that the 10 minute add-on would be that expensive- and extra $200!

Review for Secrets Playa Blanca I recently had the pleasure of staying at Secrets Playa Blanca, and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to the spa for a couples massage and hydrotherapy experience. The spa was tranquil and beautifully designed, creating a calming escape within the resort. Our massage therapists were incredibly skilled, leaving us both feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The hydrotherapy circuit was equally luxurious, with soothing water treatments that felt like a perfect addition to the experience. It was such a memorable way to unwind together, and we’d highly recommend it for any couple visiting the resort. The rooms were very spacious and beautiful, with decor that felt luxurious and high-end. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into every detail, creating an ambiance that was both stylish and comfortable. We stayed in the preferred section of the resort and loved the added touches, including a hot tub on the balcony—such a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the views. The resort’s restaurants were fantastic, with a variety of options that catered to every palate. Each meal was a treat, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. Whether we were dining at the gourmet French restaurant, enjoying a more casual poolside lunch, or indulging in some late-night room service, the food was consistently excellent. The grounds of the resort were stunning, meticulously maintained with lush landscaping, and felt like an oasis. We especially loved the peaceful, beautifully landscaped pathways and vibrant flowers throughout. Whether lounging by the pool or strolling along the beach, the views were picture-perfect at every turn.

Would love to see daily special poolside lunches like their property in Maroma.

I stayed at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres from March 10th to 11th, and I cannot say enough about how beautiful the property was, how exquisite the rooms were, and how attentive, excellent, and professional the staff was. The spa was absolutely amazing – the best I've experienced across all Secrets locations. I've been a loyal guest since 2015, visiting top locations including Secrets Cap Cana, Secrets Akumal, Secrets Maroma, and Secrets Playa Mujeres. Secrets Playa Blanca is now, by far, my top favorite Secrets and the best of them all! The food was excellent! Another level and my stay in the Preferred Club Ocean View was simply spectacular. Shoutout to the pool concierge, Anuar, for his attentiveness, amazing pool bed/cabana setup, and even fixing my sunglasses – they were missing pieces, and he repaired them for me! Also, kudos to the Preferred Club Manager, Omar Gutierrez , for his exceptional and professional service. When I left the property, he was super professional and courteous , asking about my stay, if there were any issues, and giving me his contact information for my next visit. I loved the property so much that I decided to come back at the end of May for five days for my birthday! Secrets Playa Blanca is a paradise!

Beautiful, new, clean property! The rooms are spacious and gorgeous. Tons of beautiful outdoor seating areas. Live music daily. Activities available from yoga to volleyball, etc. Staff tries really hard to accommodate all requests!

We had 4 rooms. 2 had air conditioning issues that were resolved after few attempts. One room, had a leak from ceiling, occasional drip. There is no buffet for dinners, which is okay, however the restaurants all have dress code (men must wear pants vs shorts) for inside dining and since there are no reservations at restaurants anything after 6:30pm is await 15-45min especially for a group of 6. Mosquitos on property, maybe there is a way to treat it. Beach service is fair. There is a bar where one can get drinks. There are no towels at the beach or designated place where one can get them until you find a person who can bring you one. Yoga is popular at 8am and 9am on the beach, so the platform for yoga needs to be bigger or it gets very crowded with people every morning:)

I really enjoyed my stay here. This particular resort was just built in 2024, so it was brand new and beautiful. I really loved the rooms and they had great food selections. I also liked that we were directly on the beach and had access to it.

I did not like the constant pressure of some of the staff "pushing" you to attend the time share like presentation. Me and my spouse gave it a try and they were very pushy when you said "no". Took over 3 h and it was time we could have spent on our vacation.
