The location was great. About 10/15 minute walk from the bus station. Only 5 minutes walk into the centre. Hotel is right across from Mahahual beach which is so beautiful. Rooms were good. Beds were comfortable. Had a lot of space. Bathroom was fine (water went off once but came back on within 10mins which didn’t bother us). Everything was clean. The lady who checked us in at reception was helpful. WIFI is a little stronger towards reception which wasn’t a problem for us we just sat out in the courtyard. Just a tip there is BBVA ATM about 5 mins away which dispenses MXN pesos as most of the ATMs dispense dollars only. (You can pay with dollars and pesos at most of the restaurants). If you’re looking for cheap accommodation and don’t need a lot of extra facilities, would definitely recommend.

The beds were not comfortable and the hotel did not go out of its way to clean their beach area of the algae but it was nice and secluded, away from the tourists yet a close walk from everything. I liked that I didn't have to be in the crowds. The rooms were clean and they had A/C. The manager went out of her way with our requests.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable I would love if it had refrigerators or microwave amenities.

location- great- not in the heart of this small town but very near by to everything, so no noise around (except cock at 4am ;) ), beach 10m from our room, the price was very good, place could be renovated (bathroom) but then price then would be higher, bad very comfortable - overall great

no hot water in the bathroom, so every shower was simply refreshing, especially that temperature outside is always high so for me no issue at all

The cabana was right on beach front 2 min walk from ocean beautiful plus the little private beach which every hotel has would return again location was about 10 min walk from the little shops and venders Tony's pizza was nearest food place but again the woman was unhelpful and quite rude beaware but lots of eating places further down the beach road

Amazing location and really nice staff. The accommodation is right at the beach- you literally only have to cross the road. The beach there is amazing and the host is as well. Really helpfull and nice. Also wifi works all the way to the beach with good 'videocall'quality. Also there are hammocks out front. There is further a colleague of the host family you can do a cheap snorkeling tour with - who is an amazing and funny guy. If I ever come back to Mahahual this is the place I would go to 100%.

There is not really a table in the room or so - in case you need one. But I guess the host could organize that.

Great tranquil beachfront location in front of the beach promenade just a little walk from the main beach promenade where all the restaurants and stalls are. This resort is on the quieter end of the beach which we actually prefered. Big size rooms. Wifi was great for use both on the phone and laptop. Great sunrise view from the resort. We decided to extend our stay!

Lack of room facilities. It would be great if the rooms had at least a small fridge - there is plenty of space in the rooms for one. And a kettle would be a bonus too, especially for those staying longer than a few days. No shelves or cupboards in the rooms so some hangers would be good to hang clothes from.

Right next to the beach and very quiet so you can hear the waves.

Sheets get a little dirty from palapa roof.

Great place, right at the shore of the sea, We could even hear the waves in bungalow.. We got a grilled fish.. 12min walk from the bus station and main street..

The location was perfect for anyone travelling alone who wants to be aware from the main hustle and bustle of the town. A lovely little beach with the Jetty. Anna doesnt speak any English but will do everything she can to make you comfortable. Mi gusta mucha

I stayed for a week and they didnt change towels, but if you ask for one they will give you.
