We had a beach bungalow with a small terrace facing the promenade. The location is perfect and the beach club is the best we have seen in Mahahual. The style of the bungalows and the artwork is lovely as well. The staff is nice. The food and drinks were good. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good. On weekends it can be a bit louder because of music from the bar nearby but it stops at a reasonable hour. During the week it was quiet. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

In the beach bungalow, the air con blows directly on the bed and if you turn it off, the bungalow gets hot immediately. If you are sensitive to aircon, keep that in mind or check the setup of other rooms.

Excellent breakfast, excellent coffee. Very nice environment, music selections in the dining room were perfect. Early in the morning a quiet, comfortable place to write in my trip diary. Afternoons and evenings were busy by the pool, but dinner was delicious; bbq'd barracuda and the best grilled veggies we had in Mexico. The artwork in this hotel was wonderful - amazing paintings and mosaic tiles everywhere.

The sheets and bed linens are old and overwashed. They felt like polyester, not cotton, so they were muggy and too hot in that humid environment. The bath towels were old too - so an upgrade on linens would be helpful. The refrigerator was a bonus but an ice tray or ice bucket would be nice. Deluxe Bungalow with sea view is beautiful, but up a steep flight of stairs (no elevator) (Two Beds) The Beach front Bungalow is directly across from the water - no stairs - one large bed. Excellent location

Stay at the beach, nice bungalows, the bonus is using the beach loungers even after cheak out time at 12:00. Seating area for the evening in front of the bungalow. Nice lady at the reception. They try to keep the beach clean as much as they can, the water is shallow, you can't swim there.

We didn't eat there,the complimentary breakfast was OK,nothing special ,there was no shade on the terrace for breakfast. It was a cruise ship day,so it became crowded during the day, quiet in the evening.

The location of the beach bungalows. Nice view to the beach and road (without cars). Perfect spot for people watching and being the middle of it all, but still have your privacy. In the middle of many diving schools, food options and beach. It’s super easy to get on dive and snorkel trips. Reef is only a five minute boat ride from the beach. We were there with our baby and had to take turns going diving, so it was nice that’s it’s so close.

Bungalow was placed right next to the bar. Most nights is was super quiet as Mahahual is not really party place and closes down when the cruise ship guests leave in the afternoon. A few nights however, there was a small party going on in the bar, that felt a bit too close the bungalow. Maybe ask for the bungalows next to the restaurant in stead.

The most perfect room with a view of the ocean and the cruise ships passing . Evan and his staff made our holiday vacation just right . Perla and Rafael couldn't do enough to make it just right. We had the best anniversary dinner on the terrace. Rib eyes end cocktails..the portions were huge ! We loved NBC so much we already booked our next visit ..this will be our new go to place . Diana gave the best massage ever. great job amigos !

The time went by to fast !

Very colourful property with a great beach vibe opposite the warm Caribbean Sea. We stayed in the blue cabin which was nice and cool with hammocks nearby.The reception were very helpful (organised an excellent snorkelling trip). The breakfasts were good with nice fruit, yoghurt and granola, toast and Mexican dishes. Mahahual is worth a visit, so nice to see the sea after the over development of Tulum

The breakfast areas were not shaded from the low sun - it was very hot on both days.

Food plentiful and excellent quality. Deal with the free breakfast very good...full till mid afternoon! Properly made/mixed cocktails using fresh ingredients. No pre-mix. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Good sense of humour. English spoken if you couldn't speak Spanish. Right on the beach. Good sunbeds.

Had a problem with the drain outside the room, not their fault though. Pool was a bit off because of the very bad weather in the days prior to our arrival

Perfect location on the malecon and beach. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Free breakfast is great and the restaurant for other meals is excellent with fresh fish caught by their own boat. The beach is clean and the chairs and pads are in good condition. Sargassum had mostly been taken away by hurricane Beryl but the little that did wash up was cleared away each morning.

It would have been nice to have a tv in the room for the few rainy days but not really necessary.

Perfect location on the beach front in Mahahual. Near to some good restaurants. Lovely staff that are very keen to help and provide great service. Has an authentic Mexican feel about it. Not luxury but we were very comfortable.

Beach facilities can get taken over a bit by day trippers from the cruise ships during the week. Not too much of an issue when we were there, though

Great sargasso-free beach area with comfortable sun beds and no loud music. We especially liked that they didn't cram as many loungers on it as possible like most other beach clubs do. Even when all sun beds were occupied it didn't feel crowded. The rooms are cleaned daily and are nicely decorated. The best thing however is the location of the bungalows: They are practically ON the beach! Also, the breakfast is good with many options. My brother and I enjoyed our last days of our Mexico round trip here and could relax perfectly.

The bathrooms might need some renovations - but it didn't bother us really.
