Was right on the beach and has a unique, beautiful decor

The service at the restaurant was a bit slow, and when Hotel says breakfast is included then that means that there should not be any conditions applied to that. Heer, if you ordered more than one entrée you had to pay for the rest.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Malca. Our family of 4 stayed at one of the Village Suits which was luxurious! The suit is grand, both in terms of size and how lush and utterly comfortable it feels. The floor to ceiling sliding doors and red velvet curtains make you feel like being in a big show on Broadway:)) No noise or sunlight can pass these "gates" which means the room is absolutely silent and dark in the morning, just amazing. The staff is attentive, front desk responsive and makes wishes come true. We loved the pool area which was a bliss since the sea had a lot of seaweed in it (this is one of the rare beaches btw where the seaweed is cleared several time a day!). It's a pricier hotel but the grounds are well kept, things are functional, and the rooms are lux!

Casa Malca is a wonderful hotel. Loved it. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to be of service. Thank you so much. High quality bedding as you would expect from a decent 5 star Love the location down at the quiet end of the beach The decor and art was dramatic and rich Room massive. The garden rooms are much nicer and quieter, the ground floor rooms have huge terraces with beds. We would def stay here again

Gym quite small and limited and they offer 121 yoga but no groups-but as they are next to Nomad and Be Tulum who have excellent yoga and wellness classes so you have options It is a small hotel so Food options are limited for more varied diets such as vegan but they were great and getting us healthy tasty options Basically any issues there are good solutions...

Concierge service was extremely responsive and friendly. Breakfast was amazing, and I loved that it was included in the cost of the room. The beach chairs were fantastic. Garden suite was quiet and lovely.

The restaurant menu got a bit repetitive, wish there had been more dinner variety. Didn't love how the bathroom floor stayed wet for a long time after the shower. Also, I wish there had been more drawers for clothing storage, and wardrobe space and hangers for dresses (not just shirts/blouses).

the only issue that all if the hotels from Tulum through river maya to cancun, is that they suffer from intense seaweed which makes the beaches and sea unusable, however every morning Casa Malca had teams of workers doing there best to clear it , it’s not the hotels fault and again they try everything to make it pleasurable

We spent a week at Casa Malca with the whole family (me, my wife and 2 kids). We had a wonderful experience. The facility is beautiful. We lived the art work around the facility and the attention to detail in the design. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff is super friendly, always going out of their way to meet our needs. The family suite room was huge with excellent amenities. The beach is cleaned every day (unlike some other hotels in the area). We wanted a quieter place to stay and Casa Malca’s location is ideal for that, away from the party zone but still only a short cab ride away if you wanted to party. The breakfast was amazing, lots of options to choose from. Both the restaurants at the property served excellent food. We especially enjoyed our dinners at philosophy. It was great to have that option with the kids. They have a kids menu too. All in all a wonderful experience and we hope to be back.

Fantastic location, beach, pool and great amenities. Loved the complimentary yoga, and enjoyed some of the other paid activities like tequila tasting and day trip to cenotes. Overall the hotel is beautiful and being able to enjoy so much wonderful artwork up close. The included breakfast was wonderful, and highly recommend the sushi restaurant on the beach.

Lack of storage in the rooms, we couldn't unpack our suitcases as there was nowhere to put away clothes. The lighting in the bathroom is very dark, would love to have better lights for make up etc.

Best 5 star hotel in Tulum. When you are looking for luxury stay in Tulum look no further. I can highly recommend it to all my friends now. Great service and super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful beach area and delicious restaurant. WiFi is outstanding on whole territory. Can’t wait to come back

Everything is perfect

Overall the property was beautiful with lots of nice design touches. Pool was nice, staff was nice, and drinks were great. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable.

Infrastructure wasn't great. It was overwhelmingly hot in all common areas of the hotel including the lobby, bar, and restaurant. Also, you get "free breakfast" but still get charged service fees, so it isn't actually free. You're expected to tip on top of included gratuity in every bill. You basically get charged every time you step foot outside of your room. Probably the biggest ripoff of any hotel I've stayed at. For example, a quesadilla at the restaurant + a water will cost you $40 (in Mexico). Insanity.
