Beautiful design. We had 2 rooms, one was a beachfront with dip pool, the other was in one of the off beach blocks. Both rooms were beautiful. Helpful staff, happily parked our car down the road daily. Attentive, especially Rigo on the beach. Lovely breakfast which can be taken on the beach which is stunning. We were there in seaweed season and they worked hard to manually reduce its impact.

The constant seaweed. This isn’t the hotels problem but it does impact on the views and experience. They worked hard to reduce it but it is an endless task at this time of year (May) We had this hotel at a reduced price so it was good value for money, presumably because of the seaweed. In high season Jan it would have been 4 times the price. This would not have been value for money.

I chose to stay at Sana Tulum for three nights—and also proposed to my partner while we were there! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. Even before we arrived, their communication stood out. Nearly two weeks ahead of our trip, the staff engaged with me to understand exactly what I was envisioning and offered thoughtful suggestions to make the proposal even more memorable. Special thanks to Anda, Sofia, Joss, and Jonathan—each of them played a key role, and their coordination as a team made everything seamless. Communication was clear and consistent, which really helped everything run smoothly. The food and drinks were excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the location was ideal—close to all the restaurants and attractions we wanted to explore. Sana Tulum delivered not just a stay, but an experience—one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.

While the on-site menu was tasty, it felt a bit limited—but the team more than made up for it by actively recommending excellent nearby restaurants, handling our reservations, and even coordinating with the venues to adjust bookings when we needed flexibility.

Everything. Right from the check in with Anda to the check out, we don’t want to leave. Besides it being absolutely aesthetically beautiful, it’s so quiet and away from the party zone, it’s like we had our very own Villa. They upgraded us to a room with a plunge pool, and the water was tepid. The beach is beautiful. The food is tasty. Housekeeping was spectacular and so thorough. We’ve already booked our next two vacations at this place as it is so good.

They run out of beach beds for guests. The Layla restaurant was busy and it almost took about half an hour to get us towels when we eventually did find a beach bed to laze away one after noon. Breakfast is limited, but right

Sana Tulum was the most magical place I've been in all of Mexico. The beach was pristine. This place has only been open for a few months and they have done an great job getting the resort up and running. The food at the resort was really good and the staff was attentive and very accommodating. In fact they weren't just accommodating, they were personable and involved, they were truly interested in how we felt and wanted to get to know us. Pablo took care of all of our needs, and then some. We had excellent service from Orlando. We were welcomes with open arms by Anda and much appreciation to Alexis, Pedro and the rest of the staff. We felt at home here and plan to return next year. We came here for our 17 marriage anniversary and will return for many more anniversary to come so that we can continue to fall in love all over again while we gaze out at the sun setting over the ocean. The location is within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and beaches. We LOVED this place.

It could use more places to hang towels and possibly have some drawers to put clothes in.

Sana was a last-minute decision, and we are very happy for it. At first, the rate seemed too good to be true, but once we arrived, we realized it’s a brand new product which is trying to make a change in the market of Tulum. They have the strongest Wi-Fi, AC worked amazing in our room, stunning rooftop pool right on the ocean, the most magnificent Moroccan architecture, great water pressure in the showers, the most devoted service by the staff and delicious chef menu. Our breakfast was not included in the reservation, but they included it for us, which was a very nice surprise. Really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

Super unique and high-end beach front property in South Tulum (note it is a bit away from the main Hotel Zone, but that’s what we were looking for). Stayed in the penthouse with a private rooftop pool and couldn’t have asked for more. Exactly what the photos looked like. The beach is nice with plenty of couches and a nice bar with excellent cocktails. The design of the hotel is definitely instagram worthy and unlike anything else you’ll find in Tulum. Most of all, the staff were amazing. The communication was perfect, they arranged transport from the Tulum airport (about an hour for $160 USD) and even made a special fruit plate and lattes for us to take away when we had an early tour. Would definitely stay again!

It’s a good 15-20 minute walk to get to most of the better restaurants, but was nice to be in the less busy area. Didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, so can’t say whether or not it was good.

The property was absolutely awesome!! Sana was a beautiful new location set right on the beach of south hotel zone. I loved the different room options they had as well as the indoor/outdoor shower in our suite. One of the owners I was able to meet, Itai, along with his staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming. It was a fairly new property and I loved that, along with the proximity to other properties and restaurants in the area, I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an oasis of a getaway. Would definitely book here again for my next trip to Tulum.

There could be more places to place things in the room. An office table or dresser would have been perfect.

What I loved about Sana Tulum - Beachfront Boutique Hotel was its stunning beachfront location and the amazing design that perfectly blended modern and Moroccan styles. The clean, white sandy beach and the breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea created a serene atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. The exceptional service from the staff truly stood out; they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I also appreciated the top-notch amenities, including the lovely infinity rooftop pool and the delicious on-site restaurant that showcased Mediterranean flavors.

The staff was extremely attentive, our concierge Sofia was so helpful and had special birthday surprises as well as decorations planned out for us ! Jorge at the beach club was fantastic, recommended the best drinks and gave AMAZING service .
