The staff were absolutely great! Cannot fault them at all, nothing was too much trouble. I especially want to extend the highest commendations I possible can to the reception staff, they were truly excellent at their jobs! The cocktails from the bar were delicious and the housekeeping staff always did an excellent job. I particularly liked that when we had an issue with the air-conditioning in our room and asked the manager to switch, he was very accommodating and more than happy to resolve the issue.

The restaurant was extremely expensive for what it was! If it was more reasonably priced we would have eaten there a lot more. The service was also very very slow. On one occasion I asked for a coffee 3 times and it never arrived so I eventually gave up asking for it. On a separate occasion I ordered 2 items off the menu and only the fries arrived (after about 30 mins). When I eventually asked if the other item was coming I was told they didn't have it and I wasn't getting it. Surely this should have been communicated without me having to ask?

The Zama area is a new development, by taxi it’s about 5 minutes to Tulum Pueblo and 10 minutes to the beach. So the hotel is in a very relaxed area with small restaurants and shops. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

The pool is only 1m deep, which is a bit too shallow, especially since there is a special kids pool. The restaurant on the rooftop is nice, but a bit limited in terms of food.

Everything was exceptional...from the esthetics of the hotel, to the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff, to the taste of the food in the restaurant! The ambiance was super sexy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there!

I thought the beds were hard and the topper on the bed kept sliding so I would have to pull it from the backside of the bed to put in back into place every single time I got onto the bed. Also for English speaking people, it would have been nice to have directions on how to set the TV for English instead of Spanish. The only other drawback were the bathroom towels. Some of them were big and fluffy but the others were rough. Also some of the towels had stickers/stains on them. I had one day where my room was cleaned and my water pitcher was removed but was not replaced. Also I'm not sure how often the jacuzzi/pool are cleaned but there were quite a few bugs floating around each time I got in.

We came to this hotel late in the evening and were given our room very quickly. Surprisingly we got a bigger room with a sofa, despite originally booking a smaller one. The room was huge with two double beds, a sofa, a shower, a fridge, and a balcony. The hotel is located in a quiet area away from the main highway. We came from Cancun airport by rented car and I have to say that we didn't have a problem with parking at all. There are a lot of parking lots in front of the hotel. Also, it's recommended to have a car when you stay in NAAY, since there is no public transportation in near proximity. There is a bicycle rental straight outside of the hotel though. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day... though we asked to clean every other day. There is a big groceries supermarket in Tulum. We were buying fruits (mangos, pineapples, avocados, etc...), beer, and water there for the most affordable prices. Don't buy it in the shops near the hotel. As for the beach, we were going to Paradiso Beach club... for 500 pesos you get two sun beds, an umbrella, car parking, and a beautiful location. On the last evening, we decided to chill on the roof by the pool... and we found it also a cool location. It's very quiet with a nice view and cozy gazebos.

The prices in the restaurant located on the roof are quite expensive. We came to have a breakfast first day, but found a plain omelet would cost 15$... which is too much. I would recommend a coffeshop CAMPANELLA few blocks away.

The lovely people at the front desk were so helpful every day of our trip. They ordered us an affordable taxi every day which made getting around Tulum a lot easier. Especially since Aldea Zama is basically in the middle of Tulum Center and Tulum Beach. We spent an entire day lounging on a cabana at the rooftop pool. The drinks were always 2 for $240 peso. The wifi was fast and reliable- our cellphone service was spotty everywhere in Tulum so this was a relief. The king bed in the room was SO comfortable. My boyfriend and I both can’t stop talking about how great our stay was.

The food offerings at the rooftop restaurant weren’t that great so we didn’t order anything but drinks at the pool. More appetizer style dishes would be a good addition to the menu for days spent at the pool! However, the surrounding neighborhood is full of good food and a quick taxi ride will get you to the beach for amazing tacos at La Malinche.

I really loved the hotel. The room was a great size. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is very nice and well designed.

The only issue we had was with honouring the booking details. We paid to have breakfast included and then when we arrived they told us only continental breakfast was included and burning more was extra. At a reasonable price but extra. We also were supposed to have bikes included. Thanks to a kind, polite and honest concierge they were. Issue was that the hotel changed is policy regarding bikes being included in hotel booking after we had already booked. The concierge who was on duty when we arrived was not very helpful and basically said prove it. The next day the girl working was honest and said if we booked before December then bikes should have been included. We really appreciated how helpful she was.

Perfect hotel for a solo trip to Tulum. Staff really looked after me and I felt very safe. Lovely rooftop pool, modern spacious room and easy to get to and from places of interest in tulum.

It would be perfect if they had a shuttle bus to the beach and main strip of bars and restaurant as taxis were expensive.

Quite deceptive as it didn’t look like much from the outside but it really was such a lovely place. The rooftop pool area and jacuzzi were great, the room was comfy and big. The first room we stayed in had a terrible sewer smell but they moved us really quickly. All the staff from front desk to waiters were really helpful and friendly.

Food was very average but we mainly went out, so not a big problem. The don’t really have enough sunbeds for high season. especially as they are selling extra day passes meaning the people staying at the hotel aren’t the only ones trying to get one! The hotel is far from town. They should really rent the bikes for free to make it more appealing I think.

We experienced a technical problem with ac, but was emmidiate solved by maintenance.

the rooms were really spacious and the bed was huge and comfortable. everything was well designed, clean and modern and the staff extremely helpful - especially big shout out to Omar at the restaurant!

the location wasn’t ideal. there is an up and coming neighbourhood of shops and restaurants nearby but at times feels like a construction site and it’s very difficult to walk anywhere as the infrastructure is poor. taxis are extortionate in Tulum too, which makes this problem worse. hiring bikes is good but was more than I expected to pay.
