The rooms are fantastic, comfortable beds, black out curtains and a large TV. They gave us a delicious welcome drink too, which we enjoyed. The shower and bathroom was very spacious, good hot water. I loved the smell of the shampoos and soaps. Staff were friendly and you can refill your water bottle at the hotel for free. The outdoor tub had great hot water and filled up quickly. Nice area, super safe and a few good eating spots only an easy walk away. We also visited the sister beach club for a day, which is free for people staying, and it was gorgeous! So many different seating options and a lovely bar and staff.

I would highly recommend booking this property directly on their website, as you get free breakfast that way. There was a lot of limescale in the shower, tiles and taps. My biggest negative of this location is that we felt they should really offer a shuttle service for guests even once or twice a day to and from their sister beach club. Also for a 5 star hotel, having to pay extra for coffee in the room seems unusual.

Lovely room with outside bath and fantastic art on the walls. Lovely jungle feel in the hotel with lots of plants, water. Food at breakfast excellent and Ricardo brilliant. Christina on the desk was very helpful too.

Too many mosquitoes that we weren’t aware of and didn’t prepare. Never been bitten quite like it! Maybe some repellent in the room. A waiter in the evening was very rude and abrupt, we waited almost an hour and still no drinks let alone food. so we walked out and he never apologised. It was busy but should have said I’m sorry we can’t take any more booking this eve.

Interestingly designed space. Centre to beach and town of Tulum - for us good as we had a car so could break our days between different places. Free parking on public road. Great they have a sister branch by beach which guests can use so saves on buying sunbeds etc. Cool jungle vibes & close to great coffee shops and places to eat / drink.

The pools aren't your traditional layouts so not for you if you want to chill by pool. Location is far from beach but countered by fact that they have beach side hotel you can use all day. We had a car so easier to drive around esp in the heat. Food at was OK but nicer at their beach branch. No WiFi in room but then again was a blessing i guess ☺️

This was my second stay at Orchid House. I absolutely love this hotel. It’s such a vibe with all the plants and boho design features. The entire place is sparkling clean! Our room was so clean , the bed was utter perfection. Like sleeping on a cloud! We could barely get out of it. We had a tub on the balcony over looking the jungle that was so fabulous! Took a bath in it every day. Access to the beach club as well was perfect! I highly recommend staying here.

Very beautiful garden and pool area. Trully paradise views and sounds. The staff is welcoming and upgraded us to a better room due to some smell problems in our booked room. So nice! We appreciated this step a lot. They have own beach club, what is an important issue in Tulum if you want to get a seaside approach. Cause almost all beaches are private.

Bed was too soft, but this is a very subjective issue.

• Food expensive but good • our bicycle lock got stolen and there was an irritating exchange where we were told to pay £30 and they wouldn't accept one from the supermarket • massive dip in the bed was v uncomfortable for first night

This was my husband and I second time staying there. We love Orchid House, it's like being in an exotic tree house. Love the swim up bar, it's small pool, but it does the trick. Welcome drink is delicious and their cocktails and food are very good and they have healthy options available. Recommend renting a bike a trying all the many restaurants Tulum has to offer.

Wish there were lounger chairs by the pool, but that is minor compared to the overall hotel experience.

Orchid house Tulum was better than what I expected. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was not a 10 a 100 plus, prefer to eat at the restaurant instead of anywhere else. DELICIOUS! it was so good, that i wanted to marry the chef. The room from the size, to cleanliness, to very comfortable. I loved it! If I visit Tulum again, I will not choose to stay nowhere else, even if is free.. Orchid house will be my permanent stay!

They could get some new towels, but I am not complaining!

I loved the vibes! Amazing cute little hotel! Very jungly and exotic. Comfy bed, nice staff and the patio in our bedroom was very cute with a splash pool! In room dining efficient and delicious. The fruit platter was outstanding. They provided safe shuttle to Cancun for $150.

The hotel is unique and very authentic, make you feel the real Tulum, Mexico vibe. Its make you feel connected with the nature. From our rooms every morning we could see the wild life and very interesting species. The bottle of water in the room was refilled upon request. Staying in the hotel, allows us having free access to Orchid Beach House. Both Jungle and Beach Restaurants were good, we had couple of meals and cocktails. Very quite and romantic. The hotel was providing repellent in each of the rooms.

We had couple of maintenance issues like lack of water for short period of time, unpleasant smell in one of the rooms from the toilet/canalization, high amount of mosquitoes inside the room. The bed was very very soft, so for the one who usually sleep on hard mattress will face difficulties. The cleaning was upon request, we were asked if we wanted it or not. Upon check out were about get charged for the same cleaning service that we requested only once. The safe is very small, so no laptop, camera, drone, etc. could fit.
