We loved everything about Xscape. Super helpfull and friendly staff. Big sized room (apartment) with our own pool. Everything feelt very modern and we really liked the design. We had our own microwave, fridge/freezer, coffemaker and there was a safe to lock our valuables. Shampoo, soap, towels.. In other words everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Nothing bad to say, but an advice to the hotel is to update the photos of the rooms, because the photos isn't fair since the room looks much better in real life than in the photos so we was happily surprised! 😁

The room was a nice style, generally clean and had a nice balcony in the sun. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the properly was good. A short walk to the main areas of Tulum town. If you want to go to the beach from here you probably need to get a taxi. We did this one day, and it was fine, it’s not the cheapest but probably the most convenient way to get there.

When we arrived at the room (early afternoon) there was no cold water. We reported this to the reception and they said they would have someone look at it ASAP. So we headed out and came back and same thing after an hour or so, however in the evening it was working again and we had no further issues on the stay - unsure if this is a fault with the hotels system or just due the general lack of water system and water shortages in Tulum. It didn’t really cause any issues as it was working by the time we needed it for a shower and tbh I think there’s a high chance a lot of hotels in Tulum may have this issue due to the water issues.

The place it's beautiful , it's like a garden with palm trees very fresh with a lovely pool in the middle. The place was quiet and peaceful, there's a street there but it's not noisy. It's safe on the streets even after dark and there are free parking spaces . The breakfast was really good tasty and fresh. We eat in the garden , in the shadow of the palms, very nice. The rooms was beautiful , the bed big and comfy, lovely bathroom with a big mirror looking in the little private garden. There's a little garden patio with a big fence so there's no view, there was a lot of humidity in the room so even outside our bathing suits were still wet the other day, we had to put them outside laying in the sun. The ac went perfectly.iI recommend this place :) the Mai road with shops and restaurants is near, I recommend Speedy tacos very tasty and good prices. I will come again

The humidity in the room was inconvenient but at playa del Carmen was the same so I guess it's a thing there. The warm water wasn't working but they fixed it.

It’s so much nicer in person. I also loved how quiet it was at night. So many great options for food and drink. Canova, La Pebeta and Crazy Fish Tacos for food. Batey (best mojitos for a great price) Quetzal for the best craft cocktails. Story Horse for really good coffee. We walked to everything except the beach. Pretty safe area. No sketchy moments, but still be careful late at light.

The bed was a little hard for me but I still had good sleep. The pool is lovely but there’s a bit of traffic noise due to the close proximity to the street, but it didn’t really bother me.

A family trip :we booked 3 rooms in different categories and they were all amazing! A modern apartment with private outdoor pool/ ground floor deluxe room with private pool and a standard modern room. The decoration of the place creates a nice relaxing vibe. I would also recommend the hotel restaurant (sushi lab at night and a different chef and concept for breakfast and lunch ) both breakfast and dinner were exceptional.

The location of the hotel is ok and convenient but doesn’t offer great views as it is a slightly messy side of the town. That doesn’t mean we felt unsafe at all! We still walked to the restaurants which were not that far

Such a lovely oasis in Tulum. The location was great, just far enough away from the main nightlife to not be bothered by it but only a short walk to be right in the centre of town. The staff were all incredible, the food and drinks and service was amazing. As a solo traveller I felt safe and and at home with the lovely welcoming and friendly team of people working here. I would definitely return.

The only two things that I didn't love were: - no bedside lights or light switch for the main light near the bed. (Not a huge deal) - the owner or manager seemed quite annoyed a lot of the time and would shout at the staff which was quite off-putting and seemed very over the top and unnecessary. Hopefully he was just having a bad week and that's not the way the staff are normally treated.

The location, the general atmosphere, the staff was welcoming and helpful, and garden is beautiful. It looks better than on the picture. We felt very safe there. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

It would have been great to have a table and two chairs on the terrace. It would have been great to have a chair at the table in the room too. The air conditioning was not super efficient. But overall it was not a huge issue at the time we went. We found the breakfast available onsite bland and expensive compared to other places where we stayed in Mexico.

The grounds were lovely, giving resort vibes. Comfortable bed, good pillow and good water pressure in the shower. There were several restaurants and an oxxo within a few minutes walk. Town Centre was only a 10 minute walk away. The resort had a restaurant on site, Mexican in the morning and then sushi, we enjoyed breakfast there on the two mornings of our stay.

While the ADO bus station was walking distance it was not really possible to walk with a suitcase due to uneven pavement. The room had limited hanging options, and as travelers we needed to wash and dry clothes.

This hotel has a great price-quality ratio. It’s a small hotel with unique (perhaps all self made) decor. The rooms are comfortable & the pool area is nice. The location is pretty good, close to Tulum main street.

The kitchen is not so well equipped & the pots & pans are very worn out teflon. It’s no problem if you’re not planning to cook, but we traveled with a family and prepared breakfasts & lunches at the hotel so we needed to buy some pots & pans. The pool water was a bit cold.

The main area is really nice. We wanted to feel like we are in Tulum and we did with Xscape. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was huge and the balcony with bathtub was really nice. Hotel was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Not so many things in general but some hygiene problems.. there were some stains in the sheets. It was pre-washed but i think they were the kind of stains that doesn’t come off by washing but still.. didn’t feel very nice.
