I loved that there was a gym, however small it was. I got two workouts in during the week I stayed at Youssef's. I also enjoyed the pool and the room service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Walmart nearby is also a plus.

I didn't like that there wasn't an elevator. Luckily, a nice worker carried my suitcase up the flight of stairs to my room.

Great location, very friendly staff. We had booked breakfast included and it was from 7am to noon. enough time to still catch breakfast even if you didnt wake up on time.

The bathroom of the room we were in, was a bit tight. but clean. Also, be mindful of stairs. there is no elevator, it's good for the heart. but if you have any knee issue, request a room on the first floor. the pool wasnt clean.

Staff was nice. Place was very clean. Perfect location, walking distance to Walmart, restaurants and attractions.Beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy your breakfast. There is also a gym ( but we didn't use). Hospital nearby if you need one, and we did. Parking next door or you can easily get a taxi or Uber anywhere in the area. Lots of places you can walk to from the location if you prefer.

Room was very small. You can bump your head on the low ceiling by the steps near the entrance if you are not careful.

This is a very new hotel located quite close to the city center. Comfortable beds, good air climate, good breakfast, and good value. The highlight of our stay was Cesar at the front desk. He was amazing, and provided us with anything we needed with a smile. He made our stay very enjoyable! Kudos to Cesar! I will stay here again.

The bathroom sink is too high, and too far into the wall. It has a very wide part of the cabinet in front of the sink bowl, and that made us having to get on our tippy toes when brushing our teeth. Not practical at all. Also, the closet area did not have any lighting, so we had to use our phone's flishlight every time we needed to get something out of it. Not convenient at all. The hotel is not located in the city center, so we had to take taxis every day ( definitely city center is not within walking distance ).

The best thing about the hotel is the staff! They are truly wonderful. Extra shout out to Claudia! Also the AC and pool were a huge plus because it was so so so hot in Merida in June. Clean and comfy bed as well!

This hotel is just a little further from the main drag than you want when it’s 102 degrees. In normal weather that extra 10 minutes walking to Paseo Montejo wouldn’t matter, but when it’s that hot…it does. Also there was no mini fridge, ice, or vending machine. It would have been really nice to have some options for either purchasing cold drinks in the hotel or keeping ones you brought into the hotel cold.

It is an immaculate hotel, super clean. Everything looks moden and updated. The spaces are used in a smart way. You can enjoy a swim if you like as there is a pool in the premises, there is a gym if you like. I loved the floor in the suite. It has a very subtle texture and that is to preven falls. That is a very smart feature. I had a fall in a hotel in Aguasalientes and fractured my wrist 5 months ago. At Youssef there is around the bed a mat that gives you a great feeling when coming in or out of bed. I am in the Construction Industry so I notice things, like their extemely good quality doors...Like the entrance door to the suite and the bathroom door. Also the closet doors are of very good quality. They look new to me. The electric hot water tank inside the bathroom cabinetry gives instant hot water in the sink and almost instant in the shower. I like the location. I don't know Merida well, but I took a bus City Tour and I could see my hotel from a nearby avenue. I think it is a good location. I forgot my wedding ring in the bathroom and right now the manager is working on a way to send it to some friends' home in another Mexican City that I will visit in the next 2-4 months. When I called to ask if my ring was there, they confirmed to me that the cleaning lady found it and handed it to the administration. I am so greatful and touched by the staff honesty. They are great people.

I think the remote controls for the TV are a bit complicated to use. But I travel with a smart phone and a laptop so if there is good internet connection I am OK if I want to watch a littel bit of a show to wind down.

Very modern and clean. super clean. I was given a suite so the hotel upgraded my reservation at no extra charge. I was extremely happy to enjoy a suite that had a small fridge, a coffee pot and 2 cups, 2 closets, a table with two chairs and an easy chair. It is on the 3rd floor but I didn't mind. I stayed two nights around the 20th of February 2023. I needed 2 more nights for the end of February in Mêrida so I just booked again with Youssef Exceptionnel. Staff is fantastic.

I could't figureout the TV ...But I had my laptop and their wifi is fantastic, and of course at n extra charge. I was tired anyways so I just wanted to relax a little. I watch from my laptop and the connection was superb. No problem

The staff was very accommodating and they changed our rooms after we had a small problem. Everyone working there was great! Breakfast was good! Location was awesome! The suite is worth it.

They didn’t clean our room everyday.

Very smart, comfortable beds, great location for CMA hospital and Walmart. And Paseo de Montejo. Good internet.

Would be nice if restaurant were open for lunch and dinner. Need coffee maker and fridge in the room really. Couldn't get tv to work. Need bedside lights.

Very clean and great location. I was able to walk to Starbucks, Walmart, Oxxo and most importantly to Paseo Montejo.

I was disappointed that the restaurant did not open until 7am. My time zone is different and I wanted coffee. I wish there had been a coffee pot in the room. It would also be great to have Ice but receptionist said Restaurant closed and none available after 2pm.
