Location was great, the rooms were mostly clean and big, and the beds were comfy. Modern style hotel. The rooms were quiet for Merida, some noise comes in especially car honking. Great walkable street out front, 15 minute walk to the main plaza in Merida. Good value, I paid 200$ for 3 nights.

Check in time was 3-6pm or they couldn't guarantee a room - Ridiculous. Room needed some extra attention when cleaning - mirrors were dirty, no place for the soap near the sink was an oversight, shower head squirts water over the shower wall when turned on high, toilet seat had a missing screw and could rotate.

Hotel Plaza by Kavia has the best customer service I have ever faced in a Hotel. The location is sensational, it is nearby good restaurants and a bus station. The room is complete, without any complaints about it. But the best attribute of this hotel is, for sure, the costumer service. My son forgot his earbuds in the room just before we left and he just noticed it in Playa Del Carmen. We reached them by the chat in Booking to see if they kept the earbuds and they did. After that, we got DHL to get there and pick up the earbuds for us, which worked out great thanks for the help of the Plaza by Kavia Workers. Big thanks for them!!! OBS: we spent Just one night

An excellent breakfast was included in the coffee shop/restaurant next door. The rooms were a nice size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower was also very good. Staff was generally kind and helpful. Location was maybe a 20 minute walk to the center, but the boulevard on which the hotel is located is beautiful in every direction.

The only complain is that on the fourth floor, there is some noise from what sounded like an air conditioner unit located on the top of the building. It was hard to drown out this noise even with a white noise machine. Also, there is a loud, constant and very strange noise coming from the Italian restaurant on the opposite side of the building from the coffee shop. If you are staying on the upper floors and toward the back of the hotel, you would not hear this noise at night.

The location was fantastic and we appreciated they had a parking area. We rented a car and then walked for the most part. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful.

We think the King bed might have been turned the wrong way. We are tall people and both of us had our feet hanging off the end of the bed and we had a huge distance between us. However, the bed was comfortable.

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Calm location, a bit far from the centre but it's great value for money.

The floors were very dirty (not great as we travelled with a toddler) and the toilet broke twice during our stay (although this was fixed quickly both times).

This place offers great value, comfort, and location. We stayed for five nights and had no issues whatsoever. The location is excellent for walking around the Paseo Montejo and the Old Town. The staff were always friendly, accommodating, and ready to help. The parking lot is a short walk away, we always had a safe place to park, and staff were always available to escort me to and from the car. The water pressure and hot water were always adequate.

Very good location, a bit limited service, no real lobby , more as a airbnb. Room where big, relatively clean, good breakfast in the bar in front of a hotel.

No real windows, but a side window facing the internal corridor/ patio, which is not a big problem is it a open patio and enough air. Could be a bit noisy when people are passing near your room.
