As a family of four we need space for our suitcases and to move around. We were pleased to find that our room had THREE full-size beds! Our children were delighted that they’d each have their own bed! The location was PERFECT directly on Paseo Montejo. We stayed Saturday to Sunday so we were able to participate in Biciruta on Sunday morning. Saturday night on that street we walked all the way to Mercado Santa Barbara alive with food stalls, live music and various vendors.The buffet breakfast had a huge variety and delicious.

There seemed to be no electricity in our room. When I was able to reach someone at front desk they let me know we had to insert our key card into the activator beside the entry. WHY DIDN’T HE EXPLAIN THIS TO US AT CHECK IN? Also we were only given one key card. If one of us wanted to stay in by while others wanted to go out, then sleeping person had to be disturbed to open the door or be without electricity.

Convenient location close to city centre. Lots of restaurants nearby on foot. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Has a parking for hotel guests. Bedroom size is generous.

Room given was on street side (Paseo Montejo), the windows are not double glazed, so noise coming from the street. The bathroom is a bit old and would benefit from refurbishing.

It is an incredible hotel and we are very happy with our stay there.There are just some slight amenities that you're used to when traveling elsewhere: there was no ironing board nor iron, there was no coffee maker and nllacked the convenience of garbage can in the bedroom area - very minor things that were easily overcome

1.great amenities, clean room, Wendy always gave room a special welcoming touch when cleaning; 2. directly on Paseo Montejo with access to many attractions, 3. access to a gym.

elevator does not take you all the way to rooftop where pool is...someone with mobility issues cannot easily get up there.

location and staff. clean place, room, towels, etc. it was a great stay. good food for breakfast, the nicght tacos smelles too good thou. asked for a king size bed, got a double.

ammenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) lack of places to connect electronic devices to charge. shower spilled water due to small courtain.

The cleanest property. They sanitize and clean everything even the elevators. The cleanliness in rooms, Lobby, pool And gym was exceptional. I requested a quiet room And it was sooo quiet.

I was able to watch both Chief- Ravens and Niners-Lions playoffs but the cable pix was bot the best but who cares- I saw the games!!!

Location is excellent. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Breakfast buffet is excellent, however options for a la carte (when I did not want the full buffet) cost almost the same as the buffet. So you are almost forced to pay the full buffet price for just eggs and coffee.

We loved the location. Directly on the Pasajo de Montejo. The rooftop pool was wonderful after a hard day of touring. I would have loved to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The Oxxo was close so we could grab drinks there. I would definitely stay at El Conquistador again.

There were several light fixtures that weren't working. Towels were clean but very worn.

Very clean staff was amazing. Very helpful. I left a power bank in the room and they called me in a short period after checkout to let me know. Angie our housekeeper alerted them! Thank you very much❤️

Location, food at Fatih Tacos Arabes, parking was nice, the pool was GREAT, on the rooftop, so incredible views.

Floor in the room could have been a little cleaner - it turned my white socks black very quickly, but that might be understandable because the frutas del arbol de ramon (breadfruit) were getting ripe, and falling all over the street. Even though they sweep it all up every day, it's hard to stay on top of it - hence, people probably track a lot of sticky fruit residue into the hotel.
