Beautifully redone hotel. Looked great and felt great!! Very Nice property 3 blocks off Paseo Montejo, Excellent Location to restaurants. Parking lot! We had a suite with refrigerator, 2 rooms, 2 balconys, 2 TV’s, 2 AC’s, jacuzzi tub (didn’t use thou), safe in the credenza! Sofa bed, table with 2 chairs. U get the idea, we had everything we needed, plus a buffet if you want and friendly staff, mostly😉 What’s not to like??

The buffet breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Very attentive and friendly staff. The fact that the staff talked english made our stay easier. 24 hr service was on point. A taxi was arranged for us at 11 pm for us to catch our mid-night bus. I did not get a chance to enjoy the pool due to the packed 2 days we had in Merida. Overall I would rate my stay as a 9.

I was travelling from Belize to Merida for the first time with my family, was not sure of the connection times with the buses so was not sure of my arrival time at the hotel. We arrived about 7:30am. I sent a message through booking.com before my arrival but dont think the hotel got it. Due to our early arrival I was charged $500.00 pesos per room for early check in. Being tired and needing my family to rest I paid. I think consideration should have been given for the circumstances.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful well maintained garden. Pool is more of a paddle pool but very nice. Great breakfast buffet, comfy beds. Friendly peacock and hen 🤭 Very clean

Hard pillows and restaurant not vegetarian friendly. What few options they had were did not taste very good. I know this is Mexico but... My room didn't have a mirror and they couldn't get me one or put me in the room I booked with nice balcony. I was told the pictures on the booking page are not always what the room looks like. The suite was large and clean. There was lots of place for storage and the cooling units made swift work of making the rooms a comfortable temperature. The staff were kind and helpful when our room key didn't work. I also loved their energy saving technique, our room key (only one) was placed in a little reader inside the room by the door which turned on all power to the room.

I wasn't a fan of the shower set ups. The smaller bathroom only was enclosed on 3 sides so you had to angle the shower head just so to make sure the water didn't get all over the floor. The larger bathroom had a big jacuzzi tube with a shower head attachment, but as I am not a bath person I used the smaller shower stall in the little bathroom.

Spacious, comfortable rooms and beds. Bathroom was great, with abundant hot water. Pleasant large green space outdoors with a partial shaded swimming pool and plenty of loungers and hammocks. The resident peacocks are quite a delight to see. The people who work here are just wonderful!! Everyone we encountered and interacted with was just great --from the front desk, to the security area, housekeeping was especially kind and friendly, the breakfast buffet staff, the maintenance staff who fixed our night lamp. Thank you to all!!! The buffet breakfast is out of this world and changes every day. Local dishes are included. There is a lot of variety and the food is hot and delicious. There was live music on Sunday when we stayed there.

Spotless hotel with a lovely large garden, breakfast buffet and consistent internet. Good value! Convenient location to both Paseo Montejo, Centro but quiet rooms. This was my second week-long stay and I'll stay again.

Would love to have a business center - some rooms have good desks but the courtyard rooms are smaller despite the lovely view of the garden.

I was pleasantly surprised. I read some negative comments about the restaurant, however it was excellent. Service, cleanliness and value were well beyond my expectations. Excellent all around. Many reviews try to include a 'negative' for balance. I have nothing negative to share. Everything was great!

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. A delicious buffet with so many options. Big patio with hamacas and two beautiful peacoks that will make your stay unique. 5 min walk to paseo montejo where you can find great restaurants like Yerba Santa.

If you are a light sleeper peacocks will wake you up early in the morning, other then that its a nice hotel.

The breakfast was excellent with many options. The room was very nice with a great balcony to relax at the end of the day. The peacocks in the yard were beautiful and entertaining. The pool was a little cool but swimmable. The hotel was a good walk away from the central plaza but it was also quiet which is what we wanted.

There are no ice machines and they do not provide ice from the bar. There is a fridge in the room but the electricity is connected to your room key so when you leave, the fridge shuts down and everything in it becomes heavily condensated. The noise from the hallways can be annoying but it is a very old hotel so this is to be expected.
