We liked the location, the staff, our room, the pool. It was our second one-month long stay in this hotel. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, a Walmart a few blocks away, several banks and a convenience store.

There were just 2 things that we didn't like. First, the loud music from the restaurant next door, that was going on somtimes till 1am. We could hear it even though we were on the 4th floor. Second, their beds have very hard mattresses that impacted the quality of our sleep. Some people might prefer the hard, but we didn't.

We paid extra for the king suite and the room was huge. The staff was VERY nice and accommodating. Comfortable king bed. The location was the best. Great view with lots of natural light. We appreciated that they provided pool towels. The room was clean and the maid cleaned it thoroughly when we asked for the service.

The TV works only in Spanish - no way to change this setting. The restaurant next door plays jazz music on the weekends from their rooftop until about 1:00 am and it's very loud - you can literally feel the vibration of the bass in the room (our room was right across the street from the restaurant). Luckily, we travel with earplugs. The buffet breakfast on the weekends is not very good.

The location was great. It was right at the start of Paseo de Montejo, about a 20-minute walk from the central square of Merida. The staff was very friendly and the room was very spacious with a large floor-to-ceiling window.

The shower could do with an update to this century, it was a little iffy figuring out how to switch between the two modes. Aditionally, the large window can't be opened so your only source of fresh air is the AC.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. The location was very central. Merida is very walkable so that was good. Plenty of eateries within a short walk from the hotel. The early morning taxi to the airport was on time.

The lack of a small fridge in the room was the only real issue. There was room for one. An easy fix at a reasonably low cost for any hotel chain ?

First, location, location, location! It's perfect. Very close to Centro (downtown), lots of good restaurants and cafes just next door and across the street. Oxxo (7/11) just 2 blocks away and Walmart is 4 blocks away. Facilities are very good, pool is nice, staff is very friendly and welcoming. We liked our room, it had a great view of the Boulevard, but it was a bit noisy on weekends when there was a band playing in the Hennessey restaurant next door. WiFi was good, we lost internet only once or twice in our 31 days stay in hotel. To conclude, we like the hotel very much and have already booked 5 weeks stay in 2024.

If we could change something, it would be to have a chest of drawers and more hangers in the room, adding more light fixtures and to have more consistent hot water in the shower. For the longer stays, coffee maker and mini fridge would be great to have. And, please replace the noisy toilet /shower fan with a more quiet one.

The staff is exceptional. Everyone is very courteous, nice and helpful.

There were a couple of imperfections with our suite, but the staff immediately saw to correct them, and our stay was great.

Terrible Wi-Fi. Difficult to connect. Very slow when connected. Beds are a little hard, Only a sheet for a cover. No blanket.

The elevator didn’t work for a day apparently due to electricity issues but the lighting seemed fine in the whole building. Being on the 4th floor going up was not fun.

The location is perfect. On the paseo de montejo, shopping, dining, and easy access South to the city center and North words towards the malls and westernized restaurants etc and the wonderful Mayan Museum.

Nowhere to sit in the hotel room except for the desk chair. The problem with tile floors is you can hear everything including doors shutting, people talking in the hallways etc. No really efficient lighting over the bed to read, and not enough flat surfaces to distribute your belongings if you plan on staying more than a couple of days. Had to request a duvet cover,

I like the location and the staff. I like the restaurant breakfast special. I like the big glass window in the room.

The room and furnishings are getting old. Need new towels, those are totally worn. The tv wifi needs to be upgraded from cable to internet Tv. That will give the customers choices in their language.
