We had breakfast each day in the Santa Ana market a couple of blocks away, although the offerings in the hotel restaurant looked good. The room was large, pleasant and well air-conditioned. The hotel is well located for good walks and access to Paseo Montejo, downtown areas, and the Parque Santa Ana. When we had to stay an extra two nights due to airline/weather problems, the staff was very accommodating in coordinating our room change.

In the beautiful modern bathroom with its fancy shower fixture, there was only a trickle of water and getting it hot was somewhat problematic; water from the sink faucet tended to spray to the chest as much as in the bowl; towel hook was broken. In our second room that was not a problem. On two of our four nights there was a loud rock concert at a plaza a few blocks away and we could not shut out the sound in order to get to sleep.

Excellent location. Good value for money. Good facilities. Restaurant on site. We passed the hurricane here. The air con was very noisy we informed staff and they upgraded us at no extra cost. Staff are very kind and helpful

Hotel is in a fabulous location! I enjoyed how it was close to lots of restaurants and the Santa Ana market. The pool on the roof was nice and was never crowded while we were there. I like being able to ho downstairs to the restaurant for food, coffee, or a drink. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful.The price of the room was great!

The bathroom was very dark. The room had no other mirrors except in the dark bathroom, which made getting ready challenging. The shower head made a mess in the bathroom and did not work great. The room was a little dirty in some places, but not gross.

The hotel was clean and staffs were helpful. Merida is a gem of a city, beautiful and steeped in history. The trip was a cultural experience I would recommend.

The shower water was cold, even after being left to run for 10 minutes. I am not sure if thar would be something the hotel could fix?

Good option for the price, close to many restaurants, museums, park, etc. Free parking.

The restaurant in the hotel was good. The staff were friendly and helpful It is a nice walk on Paseo Montejo. And a comfortable walk to centro. Martin at the front desk was there for check in. He was also helpful in suggesting restaurants. The hotel was kept clean. It was nice to have a sofa and easy chair in the common area on each floor; great for reading a book or doing some computer work. The pool and pool area was nice.

It was a Saturday when we arrived and we found out that Paseo Montejo was closed off to traffic; only pedestrian and bike traffic allowed. The taxi driver dropped us off on the street at the corner and us seniors had to make our way to the sidewalk with our four suitcases to take our luggage to the entrance of the hotel. It was very frustrating. Unfortunately we found the bed and pillows very hard. A pillow top mattress and lower loft softer pillows would be much better. The room was rather small for a 5 night stay. Didn't have much space for hanging clothes or putting them away in drawers.

The location was perfectly situated at the beginning of Paseo Montejo which made easy access to what the Paseo had to offer.

When we arrived, the receptionist seemed to be in a bad mood. He wasn't friendly and made errors in our check in. We reserved 2 rooms, and he said that rooms facing the Paseo were all booked and then he got us room that was already occupied by another family and then mysteriously a room with a window viewing the Paseo was found.

Located in Paseo Montejo, main attractions are right there.The rooftop pool is perfect.

I didn't know they didn't have a restaurant inside the hotel so no room service, but that was my fault, I didn't read thoroughly the hotel amenities. Also there is no lobby restroom so you have to wait till you get your bedroom to use the restroom. They do have a restaurant adjacent to the hotel but they don't like letting people use the restroom if they are not customers.

The stairwell coming up Paseo Montejo could use a hand rail. The steepness of the multiple levels of steps, coming up and down, was difficult for us at age 70. I asked for a second key to the room and we were told no to a second key, serious we this is sallow. I walk in the morning and my wife wanted a coffee from the restaurant, which left me without a key to reenter the room.
