The room was very comfortable and well-appointed

Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding regarding the complimentary wine and water. As a non-drinker, I understand the water would be complimentary instead, but only one small bottle in the bathroom was included, and I was later charged for a bottle from the fridge. The staff declined to accept the unused wine in exchange. While minor, this felt inflexible — particularly as other hotels in Moldova offered more generous water provisions — and slightly out of step with the otherwise high standards of the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel - clean, luxurious, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. The location is also wonderful for exploring the city centre.

I was here on a business trip with a colleague and we struggled to find a place to set up with our laptops and work. The restaurant was very accommodating, but it was a little awkward for us setting up laptops on linen tablecloths whilst people around us were trying to enjoy a meal. This was my fault for booking a boutique hotel for what was primarily a business trip. I would not book the Nobil if I were on another business trip (quite regretfully so as I really did enjoy it here) but when I come back here with my wife rather than with my laptop I will definitely be booking here again!

Stayed with a family and a 2 year old toddler. Hotel is very pretty, luxury feel, exceeded expectations. Service is very good, 1 room was upgraded so was bigger and more comfortable with a baby. There is a not bad playground right in the hotel’s backyard. Restaurant is really good, very delicious dishes for breakfast and dinner; service in the restaurant is top-notch. Room cleaning is very good, no complaints. I appreciated the Occitaine products in the bathroom. Overall stay was very pleasant! Tried facial and massage and both were very good. Spa facilities are pretty as well, but I found the water in jacuzzi a bit too hot to my liking. I highly advise this property for your stay.

Fabulous hotel right in the city center, a couple blocks from the park and near plenty of shopping & restaurants. They have a private parking lot with guards and parking attendants, so you don't have to worry about your car if you drive to Chisinau. The hotel has a stately old-world luxury to it, but doesn't feel dated. There are modern amenities and conveniences like plenty of outlets in the room, a mini fridge, and a very spacious bathroom with toiletries in case you forget anything. There is a decent gym in the hotel, and breakfast up in the top floor restaurant is incredible, with plenty of options for food and drink. We had breakfast included with our stay, and the first day I skipped because I don't typically eat until midday, but after seeing what my husband had I made sure to get up and work out earlier so I could work up an appetite and enjoy the breakfast the next couple days! Last but not least, the staff at the front desk were all exceptionally friendly, and a couple of the young girls there were very helpful in making a phone call & getting reservations for us since our phones wouldn't work in Moldova. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we return to Chisinau.

For a small hotel gym, they had a decent selection of equipment & machines, but it could use a few extra touches. Gym towels would be helpful so you don't have to bring your towel from the room, wipes to clean the equipment after use, and the machines might need a bit of maintenance. The treadmill catches a bit and could probably use a tune-up.

Everything was magnificent in a single word. I can say it's the most beautiful hotel in the city. It's within walking distance to museums; I walked everywhere throughout my entire vacation. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with every detail carefully thought out. The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance and city view, and the food is delicious. I won't forget the gesture made for my birthday; it was very kind. Additionally, the staff speak English well and are courteous. It's a hotel I would love to stay at again when I come back.

A very central location, comfy beds, superb breakfast (not buffet type, but an a-la-cart restaurant on the 7th floor) and barista-made coffee (which is rare), about 25 minutes away from the airport (by Yandex Taxi).

Although the hotel claims to be posh, its best time remained in the 90-ties. Carpets are slightly worn-out, the furniture is a bit outdated. I would call it "shabby chic". For UK/US visitors - they do not take Amex.

The hotel couldn’t be better located. It’s renovated in a classic Italian style, which I liked very much. Staff are great and the food is beautifully made and presented. Very good value for money. I liked the experience very much!

The hotel lacks a proper bar. There’s no public space to relax, outside of the two restaurant areas. Plus, I tried to book the spa couple times but they were not very helpful.

Very clean and situated in the city centre.

Not convenient to use stairs to get in and out of hotel. And stairs also to go to restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Also for dinner plan some time because is a la carte.

I travel for work often. This restaurant on the top floor is the best one I’ve eaten at in years. The food quality is so high and the prices so affordable. Every meal - breakfast lunch and dinner - had me coming back. The property itself is quite nice, bit renaissance feel with gilded bits. The bed is just the right firmness. The room is enormous and the air conditioning easy to operate. The shower pressure is glorious!! The hotel arranged a driver for my trip since I had many places to go. The driver, Marin, was very professional and the Mercedes S class was impeccable. I went everywhere in that. The front desk even sent my post cards.

The poor lady at reception my first morning after arriving didn’t speak english. I asked for an iron, she thought I asked for room service. I asked again for an iron and they sent someone to collect laundry. I eventually sort of mimed ironing and they eventually brought one. It is not really a complaint, it was charming in its own way.

Good location. Breakfast was the richest I have seen, and I have been to luxury hotels in over 70 countries but haven’t experienced such a rich breakfast. Staff at the reception, restaurant and the bar above it are among the kindest and most professional I have come across in the hospitality sector. I am sure that also applies to the housekeeping staff. It’s a reflection of good management.
