We had a wonderful 2-night stay at La Baraka Auberge with our family of three. The riad is conveniently located within walking distance to the stunning Ksar site. Our room was cozy, with a heater and A/C, ensuring a comfortable temperature. The beds were comfortable, and extra blankets were provided for the chilly evenings. The bathroom had hot water throughout the day. The traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious and hearty. The host was fluent in English and provided valuable recommendations for local activities and restaurants.

One area for improvement is the sewer smell in the bathroom, which was present despite the cleanliness. We managed by keeping the door closed and the vent on.

The staff! They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Welcome tea on the rooftop with a view of the old town and fort. Plus, breakfast was very filling and delicious (amazing fresh butter, jams, olive, lota of bread, pastries, a huge omelete). We played card games with some of the staff members at night and we had tea several times. There are no hidden fees and no nonsense. They had a pool which we didn't swim in bc it was a bit cold (we were there at the end of Jan). The room was comfy. Bed comfy, sheets were soft and several large blankets provided. They had hot water as well. The location was perfect. 10 min walk to the fort. Right near the river too (where I found red agate and quartz while walking along!).

Nothing! If you're going to Ait ben haddou then stay here! Btw, we are a couple who lives between the Ireland/US/Pakistan so we have seen the best and the worst possible accommodations. This was great for local comfort and location.

I had about a dozen stops during my months in Morocco and this property was hands down the best. Meals were wonderful and I never left hungry. The view from the roof was amazing. Great location to everything on the main road and only a few minutes away from the paths to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Some of the friendliest staff I can remember at any accommodation in my travels. I would have certainly stayed longer if it wasn't at the end of my trip. Great in every way - thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very friendly welcome from the staff who gave us tea and biscuits whilst we registered and a bottle of water when we left. They were flexible on timing and very helpful all round. Breakfast was plentiful. Traditional bread, olives, jam, honey etc plus pancake, omelette, yoghurt, fruits and unlimited tea and coffee. Pool looked nice but we didn’t use in the end as weather was colder than expected and we didn’t have a lot of spare time. The roof is amazing for views. Really like the room which was comfortable and had straw in the walls and bamboo ceiling. Shower and toilet worked well. Would definitely recommend.

Very happy I think for the price it was very good. Bathroom could have maybe been cleaner.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful: they put up with all my strange requests: tomato for breakfast, a loan of a plate and knife to cut up some melon. The rooms were beautifully decored with berber designs moulded into adobe walls. Lovely roof top terrace with a view of the Kasbar, pool was clean and just the right temperature - what luxury!

Nothing major - we were given a packed breakfast the night before as breakfast is only 8-10am, but the berber bread was already stale the next day. But they meant well. 8¬)

I really liked that there was free parking, the place was clearly marked and easy to find because it is by the main road yet is was quiet at night. The receptionists were extra friendly and served a very abundant breakfast. Price was very reasonable too. Wifi worked well. There was a roof top terrace with a nice view of the kasbah. Fortunately, this hotel did not suffer from the earthquake but some others were not as lucky. Please come here to support the local community.

Nothing that we disliked.

This was a great choice for multiple reasons! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very generous and included fresh fruit. Mainly though, the location of La Baraka is wonderful - it's a short walk to the ksar and is on the main road, yet, the room was quiet at night. We loved the terrace - it has a good view of the ksar and is a lovely place to relax. The pool was crystal clear and inviting. A good experience on all counts.

We stayed in the family room, which was spacious and comfortable. Our host greeted us with mint tea and biscuits, and his sons were most polite and helpful with our luggage. They were also kind enough to give us a free bottle of cold water for our onward journey when we left. WiFi was great, pool lovely, breakfast plentiful and delicious. You can see the ksar from the roof terrace, and it's a five minute walk through the village down to the river. Super value for money and highly recommended. Will stay here again on my next visit. 😀

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Nice location, walk to the old city is only approx 3 min. Good rooms for oversleep and nice terrace. My children liked swimming pool and nice breakfast. Aircondition in room was necessary for heating over night (february) and it worked perfect!

Can be better bathroom (need better shower - more water).
