Dar Kalifa is a work in progress. Someday, when the construction is finished, this will be a garden spot with large towels, nice soap, warm rooms, a location identified on Google Maps, a sign, and cozy furniture. For now though, it is an inexpensive, bare, cold room near the airport. I recommend it anyway because the owner is exceptionally kind and helpful. He walked with me and helped me catch the local, public taxi, which only costs about $1.50, into Casablanca. He also rose early with me the next day to arrange a local, "Petite Taxi" to the airport.

The hotel could benefit from the following: - larger towels - better soap - hooks for hanging things - larger floor mats - a heater - a chair - a larger sink and shelf for toiletries - a sign out front - a location on Google Maps

The host was a lovely bloke who kindly drove me to the airport at 0545 for the price of a taxi that I didn't have to worry about not arriving.

I was only there for 6 hours between flights, so I have nothing to report. It was cheap, clean and cheerful.

The owner was really helpful and it was a great place to stay for one night
