We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Chams in Chefchaouen! The location was perfect, right in the middle of the charming old city, which made exploring easy and fun. Room: Our room was cozy, clean, and had an incredible view of the old city and mountains. Waking up to the fresh air and breathtaking scenery outside our window was a treat. The private toilet was well-maintained and the room had a nice, fresh smell. Staff: The real star of our stay was the staff. Simo, Aziz, Paris, Omar and everyone else went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were all so friendly, welcoming, and just really cool people. They gave us great recommendations for things to do around the city, helped us with our luggage, and were always there with a smile and a kind word. We can't forget about Couscous, the adorable little kitten that the staff clearly dotes on! Food: We always looked forward to breakfast, which was delicious and served by the friendly Omar. We couldn't get enough of the Chefchaouni dish "Bissara/Payssar" and the handmade Jben cheese – it was seriously out of this world! The terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast was the perfect spot to start our day, with the sun rising over the mountains and the city slowly coming to life. Omar's warm hospitality and attention to detail made each breakfast a delightful experience. Terrasse: The view is absolutely stunning, you can see the old city and the mountains stretching out before you, and it's the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of Chefchaouen. Overall, we would definitely recommend Hotel Chams to anyone visiting Chefchaouen. You won't find a better location, more delicious food, or cooler staff anywhere else in the city. Excellent location with a rooftop terrace with an amazing view! We had a room with a nice view and private but both were very small; you had to shuffle to get around the edge of the beds and tilt your head to one side to wash your face in the tiny sink. Staff were friendly and helpful with good recommendations on where to eat and what to see. Breakfast was delicious but some fresh fruit would have been much appreciated. Overall, I’d definitely recommend.

Window was very small and high, so almost no light (but building is old, owner can’t do anything about it) Probably this wouldn’t be good for someone who likes fancy new hotels, but we were looking for a cool authentic typical maroccan hotel, so for us was perfect! Also good price, so I can’t say anything bad

Charming old hotel in the perfect location to explore. The staff were all super helpful and willing to offer advice whenever approached. Breakfast is a lovely Moroccan meal with bread, eggs and local condiments. Yummy. Terrace is a perfect place to while away time with a wonderful view of the town.

Our first room had no external windows and limited space to unpack. We made it work but glad it was only for 2 days. Our second room was on the top floor with windows on two walls. Fabulous view...but...the call to prayer WILL wake you up as the mosque is not far from the hotel.

We loved the breakfast so much! And the receptionist Muhamed was the kindest and most helpful person! We are so happy we chose this place, the location and the people really made the experience very enjoyable:) thanks to the staff

Everything actually, the reception were so gentle and nice to us, and there is a boy and a girl who were definitely the best receptionists I've ever met, the cleaning ladies also were nice and cooperative with us.

Breakfast was wonderfull and delicious. Local products like bread, honey and famous Marocan mint tea - all really good and tasty. Not to mention fresh fruit juices - I am in love with the freshness of the oranges and other fruits. We unfortunatelly do not have this quality in Poland :( Marvelous view from the balcony at the top of hotel - all city visible, all blue houses were there <3

Sometimes it was a little cold, so if you like warmer temperatures, deffinitelly it is worth to take some warmer clothes - it was still like 4-6 degrees Celcius in the morning before sun rise, but it is better to watch out in my opinion - It is a city near mountains, so better be prepared for high differences in temperatures :)

We loved this Riad so much that we extended our stay. The terrace is beautiful, you can spend hours having tea and enjoying the sunset. The people at the riad as super friendly, they even offered to do our laundry!

The bathroom sink was leaking.

I think they have one of the greatest views of the city in their terrace, the staff is nice, the breakfast is great and they are very very close to the halltown (it's like a 2 minutes walk). Amazing!

The shower was not really hot, but to be honest my stay was short and I didn't ask for a fix or why it wasn't hot enough.

we had a very warm welcome from Simo the owner of hotel. During the two nights that we’ve stayed, we found the staff from hotel are very friendly, helpful and treat every guest as families. Aziz recommended a very good local restaurant and he even led us way to the restaurant and talked to the restaurant staff to serve us well. Aziz and another hotel staff Omar are so professional and polite and willing to provide help to every guest.
