The staff was incredibly kind and helpful—truly impressive, with not a single negative moment. The outdoor area is great, as well as the indoor pool and gym. Entertainment was excellent. There were plenty of sunbeds, though that might be due to ongoing renovations and some rooms being out of use—hard to say how it would be at full capacity.

For a 5-star hotel that hosts many families with kids, meals should include plain meat with just salt, not only marinated options. Snacks between meals were limited to sweets and pizza—basic options like eggs, omelets, yogurt, or cereals were missing. Table and chair cleaning in the restaurant needs to be more thorough. Also, the pillows were too high, with small pillowcases and low-quality sponge filling—not what you expect from a 5-star hotel.

We were aware that the hotel was some distance from the centre of Marrakech, but knew we'd spend most of our time there, so fine. Swimming pool was great (for all ages) and there were ample sun beds. Easy to get a taxi into the centre and visited Jardin Majorelle and the Medina, although mid 40 degrees made it 'interesting'. Knew this when we booked though. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (Oumayma was an absolute star and our son wants to keep in touch with her!), food was good....something for everyone.

Albeit the all-inclusive drinks were fine by us (many people disappointed that they were not branded), the bar needs to be organised better. Staff constantly searching for clean glasses. Some drinks running out before the 11pm closing. And you need to collect alcoholic drinks at this bar and carry to restaurant if you want them during meals, as only soft drinks available in the restaurant area.

We had the most amazing experience at this all-inclusive resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. A huge shoutout to the animation team, Aomar, Younes, (restaurant), Oumaima, and Sara, who brought so much positive energy and made every day fun and memorable. And everybody else who's name I didnt mention. Their enthusiasm and kindness truly made a difference in our stay. Also the bar staff thank you so much. Everybody is really hard working and deserves the best. The reception team was equally fantastic always helpful, professional, and friendly. Everything was well-organized and stress-free from check-in to check-out. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience every day. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty options. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this resort to all our friends and family. It was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!

A Perfect Family Getaway – Truly Feels Like a Palace! We absolutely loved our stay at El Olivar Palace in Marrakesh! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the grandeur and beauty of the resort. The rooms are incredibly spacious—truly fit for a palace—and immaculately clean. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. It’s a very kid-friendly place, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable as a family. The water slides are a huge hit with the children—they were entertained for hours! There’s also plenty of open space for kids to run around safely. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay—extremely polite, warm, and always eager to help. Their friendly nature made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The food options were excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes to suit every taste. Whether you’re looking for local Moroccan flavors or international cuisine, there’s something for everyone. Another big plus is the resort’s location—just a short drive from the airport, which is perfect after a long journey. The gardens and outdoor areas are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing environment. The pool area is also stunning, with plenty of loungers and shaded spots to unwind. Altogether, El Olivar Palace exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re already looking forward to coming back again. Amazing experience, great hotel, huge swimming pool. But what impressed me the most is the level of hospitality of the staff. I send a special big thanks to Youssef in the snackbar, (Omar, Tarik, Raja and others) in the restaurant,l. The staff in reception and guests relatio. ( Sara , mustapha... ) they think about every single detail they are kind and careful. Not to forget the women of room service, providing us with everything we need. I recommend this hotel for families. I will come back with no hesitation. Last but not least the party host ( Mehdi ) the skilled guy with seven languages 😄 top in hosting parties and creating ambiance. The staff are amazing. Mohamed, Youness and receptionist Sara took great care of us during our stay and were very helpful with our questions. The all-inclusive deal is a peace of mind with kids helping themselves with what they wanted. The property hosts many games and entertainment nights that make the vacation much more than a stay.

The property is a bit far from marrakech city. The hotel can run a shuttle service to alleviate high taxi costs and offer it as a benefit. We had to book taxis which were a bit on the higher side but the service of Taxi drivers was worth it. The hotel can also work towards attractive packages for activities like the agafay desert experience. It was a shame that we had to book these packages ourselves because the price comparison was almost double to what we could find online.

We had a great fantastic here. The staff went out of their way to look after us including an upgrade to a suite. Sara on reception was fantastic and made sure we were happy - the room was spacious and bed super comfortable. The swimming pool was great and safe for little kids and super fun. Food was yummy and huge variety with loads of options. We only stayed for one night and it felt like such a fab mini break and an amazing end to our 8 day travel around morrocco. Really relaxing and luxurious stay. Staff were so kind to the kids and took the time to play football with them. They are desperate to come back again soon. Cant recommend enough!

We stayed one night at El Olivar Palace at the beginning of our short trip to Marrakech, and it was the perfect way to kick things off. After the energy and excitement of the Medina, it was such a treat to escape to this peaceful oasis where our family could relax and unwind. Traveling with two young kids (ages 6 and 4), we were looking for a place that was both family-friendly and restful—and El Olivar Palace delivered on both. The resort was incredibly welcoming and accommodating for the kids, and we all had a blast at the water park. The water slides were a huge hit and, to our delight, they were included in the all-inclusive rate! The buffet was another highlight. We were hoping to try as many Moroccan dishes as possible during our stay, and the buffet was the ideal way to sample a little bit of everything. From tagines to fresh salads to sweet Moroccan pastries, we really got a full culinary experience without having to commit to just one dish. Even though we were only there for one night, it felt like a mini-vacation within our vacation. If you’re traveling with kids and want a quiet, relaxing, and culturally rich place just outside the city buzz, El Olivar Palace is a fantastic choice.

Everything was amazing. It was modern yet had a nice traditional twist to it, which is what I wanted to get away from city life. All inclusive was amazing and as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner we were also served snacks. Non alcoholics drinks were supplied throughout the day as part of our package. The spa was amazing. Hafsa, Hakima, Samira and Huda were amazing and priced well too. The staff were all welcoming and very helpful. Especially Mustafa and his team at reception, always happy to help and went above and beyond. Entertainment was fabulous. The free shuttle service to the souk was really convenient and saved us taxi fares. I will definitely be coming back here with family.

Very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, we got a free upgrade which was such a treat. Everything looked liked the way it was shown in the photos. Also the grounds are big but not too big that I felt worried about my kids. The spa service was wonderful- amazing staff.

We went in December so couldn’t use the outdoor pool - heated pool make it perfect. Was disappointed that the snack bar didn’t have any snacks and although I paid for an inclusive package we had to pay for ice-cream!
