Beautiful Riad, the interieur, the room and bathroom, the roof terrace. All clean. Room was cleaned everyday, everyday clean towels. Everything was excellent. The Riad is on an excellent location, quiet small streets take you to the Riad (on the way over you will meet all the friendly locals), still in the heart of the Medina. Souks, shops and restaurants are right there. Plenty of sightseeing within walking distance. Centre square is a little further away, about 20 minutes walk. Nice to go there for a night, but for us the centre square was not the best part of Marrakech anyway. Great friendly staff, top service, great food (breakfast was good, fresh cooked and sufficient, dinner was the best we had in Marrakech on the Riad’s rooftop with great view!) Book your excursions at the riad, you will get the best experiences and it is not more expensive than booking elsewhere. We booked a half day tour through the Medina with the best guide ever. We had a great 1/2 day trip to dessert included quad drive, camel ride, dinner show with live Berber music and closing the night with a fire show, only €35,- each). Also we booked a trip to the Atlas Mountains and waterfalls, which was great, though €50,- each seems to be a little overpriced, compared to the other excursions.. Will definitely come back and bring our kids when they are old enough to visit the wonderful city of Marrakech. Thank you Abdellah and Ahmed for the wonderful stay!

The room (I believe all rooms) can not be locked from the outside when you leave the room. We were told that this was just the way it is. We felt save at the Riad, so we did not really bother.

From the minute we walked through the doors of Riad 144, we as a group of five friends were treated like Royalty, & we felt we were in our home away from home…All the staff were lovely & we were always greeted with a smile…Abdul was exceptional, nothing was too much bother for him & he was readily available at any time of the day or night.. We were going on a sunrise hot air balloon trip & he got up at 4.30am to make sure all went well with our pick up.. We had a three course meal in the Riad on one of the nights & I highly recommend booking this.. It was the tastiest & most reasonably priced meal we had when compared to other restaurants. We paid much more expensive & it was no where near as nice. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, eggs & fabulous cinnamon toast.. There is a beautiful rooftop area where you can have your breakfast or lay out enjoying the sun.. A swimming pool is advertised but this is where I drop a point in my review as it is more a plunge pool but either way this would not deter myself or any of my friends from staying here again, as I said we felt it was our home away from home.

We honestly had no negatives about our stay but an outdoor plunge pool would be nice, just to have a dip to cool down from the heat

A tastefully decorated riad. Lovely clean room, relaxing terrace, fabulous breakfast & super friendly staff. All of the team was so helpful and super attentive throughout our stay. They really went above and beyond and sang happy birthday to me with cake on my birthday. Ahmed was always 1 message away whenever we were outside and had any questions. Henna at the riad was also kindly arranged. Thank you Ahmed and the staff, we really enjoyed our stay.

location a little bit out the way. got lost the first couple of times as streets were like a maze. Locals would sometimes follow us. Got used to the location after 2 days of using maps

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Riad 144. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with tea, biscuits, and a friendly conversation. Abdul and Ahmed supported us in every need throughout our time at Riad 144. For example, if we needed an early breakfast, extra drinks at any time of the day, recommendations or taxis they were immediately available and helpful. The other staff, including Aisha, Karima and Faachi were lovely, patient and helpful. Overall it was quiet, relaxed, characterful and beautiful. The rooftop sunrises and sunsets and lazy hot afternoons (even in January!) were perfect. It really felt like a home from home. We plan to return.

Very cold courtyard + rooms when we arrived so we could have some with a bit more warmth in our room, if possible!

Riad 144 is a little gem, tucked away down an alleyway, it is an oasis of calm and tranquility. All the staff were lovely but a special mention for the managers, Ahmed and Abdul, as nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious and the perfect way to start the day and the 3 course evening meal we had on the first night was just as good if not better than the expensive restaurant a couple of alleyways away. We treated ourselves to a Hammam & Massage which was an experience in itself, but left us feeling squeaky clean and relaxed. I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Marrakesh

The 2 single beds were quite narrow and a bit hard for my liking (as was the pillow) and the constant music did become a bit grating - however these are minor points in an otherwise perfect stay.

From the moment we arrived at Riat 144 we felt honoured guests. Ahmed and Abdul were warm, polite, courteous, helpful and made our stay there a hassel free experience. Ahmed took the time to give a quick overview of Marrakesh on our arrival over a glass of mint tea, pointing out some of its highlights and good places to eat and drink. We had a meal in the restaurant on our arrival which was amazing. The breakfast was fabulous, a variety of fruit, bread, fruit juice, savoury dishes and coffee or tea, which set us up for a day walking through the Medina and Souk. The room and bed were wonderfully comfortable as was the relaxed vibe of the Riad itself. We would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Can't think of anything negative.

We adore riad144 in its whole. We were well taken care of and made to feel very welcome by Ahmed and Momo, who were really helpful. Ahmed and Momo's hospitality has truly amazed us. They assisted with our luggages and picked us up and dropped us off at the taxi stand. The riad is immaculate and charming, featuring a large dining room for our meals, a beautiful TV room, and a stunning seating space for coffee or tea. The rooftop area is particularly outstanding with much space and an amazing view. The beds are really comfortable. The riad made a particular effort to set up an extremely early breakfast for us on the day we had to depart early for our trip and prepared some fruits for us to bring along our tour. On our last day, they even made us a sandwich to take on our flight. Additionally, they not only booked us dinner reservations at restaurants but also gave us a tonne of advice on where to go. Lastly, our three-course dinners at the riad were especially delicious and special. The location of the riad is perfect. The airport and main attraction are both very close by. To anyone looking for a traditional Moroccan homely experience with excellent hospitality, we wholeheartedly recommend this Riad. It's also an extremely peaceful spot.

My stay at Riad 144 was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped through its doors, I found myself in an oasis of tranquility amidst the vibrant energy of the medina. The staff made every moment special, but I must give special recognition to Ahmed, whose hospitality, warmth, and unwavering attentiveness truly set this experience apart. His personalized service and genuine care for guests made my stay even more memorable. One of the highlights of my visit was the breakfast, which was not only exquisite but also incredibly flexible. Each morning, I was delighted with a selection of fresh, high-quality products, carefully prepared and served in a charming setting. The ability to tailor the breakfast to my preferences and schedule was a thoughtful touch that I deeply appreciated. The cleanliness of the riad was impeccable, both in the rooms and in the common areas. It is clear that great care is taken in every detail, ensuring a sense of absolute comfort. The rooms, in addition to being perfectly maintained, strike a perfect balance between authenticity and modernity, featuring a sober and elegant décor that honors Moroccan heritage without being overwhelming. The common spaces of the riad are equally impressive. From the enchanting interior courtyard to the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city, every corner is designed to invite relaxation and reflection. The décor, with carefully selected traditional touches, beautifully highlights Morocco’s rich culture while maintaining harmony and sophistication. In short, Riad 144 is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience in itself. The combination of outstanding hospitality, an unmatched breakfast, impeccable cleanliness, and an elegant ambiance makes this riad a perfect choice for anyone seeking an authentic and delightful stay in Marrakech. Highly recommended!

If I had to suggest one potential area for improvement, it would be the gym’s equipment, which could be upgraded to enhance the experience for guests who enjoy working out during their travels.

We arrived into Marrakech by train and were met at the station, as arranged with Riad 144. We were then smoothly escorted into the medina on foot and welcomed to the riad - a cool, light, spacious environment which immediately made us feel peaceful. After mint tea, we were given a tour of the riad, then shown to our room which was lovely - as light and spacious as the riad itself, with a very nice bathroom and all boxes ticked for things like lighting, sockets, water etc. The roof terrace is especially nice at Riad 144 and we chilled out on the loungers after exploring the medina. If you were here for longer, this would be a wonderful place to relax between trips out into the hustle and bustle of the medina. We enjoyed a 2-night stay and found it an extremely comfortable base. Breakfast was fantastic - breads, fruit, coffee, juice and eggs - and Abdul looked after us brilliantly, with nothing too much trouble. The location, in relation to walking to everything, is great too.

Loved the breakfast, the rooftop, the tortoise, the staff, the rooms, the decor, the whole riad really!! We found it so comfortable & peaceful. Abdul & Ahmed were brilliant hosts that went over & above to look after us all.

We would of liked to have done the cookery class but with 4 of us it would of been expensive. Had it just been the 2 of us we might of indulged. We did have the home cooked dinner though & it was wonderful! We thought the location was a little intimidating at first, but we got used to it, it's at least out of the way of the chaos nearby!
