Review: We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riad. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with the best Moroccan pancakes we’ve tried in Morocco. The terrace was stunning, providing a perfect spot to relax. Our room was cleaned daily, and the bed was super comfortable. Irene and Pascal, our hosts, went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect and were always available to help. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we would definitely recommend it!

The only minor downside was the location, which wasn’t the most convenient, but it wasn’t a major issue for us.

The Riad is very beautiful and the breakfasts amazing and plentiful. Abdul and his wife were so kind and patient with us, we came in late and Abdul was there to let us in. We were had breakfast late, and Abdul was there (with his amazing wife's cooking). We left at 6 am, and Abdul was there. Really, our experience wouldn't have been the same without him. A lot of reviews said it was in a bad part of Marrakech or that they didn't feel safe. Please ignore them. People need to stop expecting the world to be like their home but accept differences. Given that, if you don't want to see anything but the touristy parts, this is not a Riad for you.

I was expecting such amazing customer service from Irene and Pasqual, given the reviews but we barely crossed paths. We did buy a bottle of wine (which we were really grateful for, given where we were) but it was bad. I really don't have anything bad to say about my experience.

Riyad Irene is a perfect place for you to stay if you are looking to spend some time in a Riyad rather than just spending your evening time. The Breakfast is superb and Abdu was really a good kind hearted person. He came to pick us from the main road into the Riyad and showed us the room. The place is really clean and the rooms were cleaned out all the time when we are back from the day trips. Its spacious and in good quality. The surrounding is superb and you feel like you are absorbing the Moroccan culture. A Vehicle cannot access the Riyad so if you are booking this place just be sure to let your driver knows to drop at the Ben Brahim and you can contact the staff at the hotel and ask them to come to pick you up. Never try to go using google maps and you will definitely get lost in mid of no where.

A beautiful Riad inside the old town where you can enjoy the traditional Moroccan architecture and hospitality. Our hosts, a lovely French couple (Pascal and Irene) with two friendly Moroccan housekeepers were helpful, polite and gave us a lot of information what to do in Marrakesh. We met outside the gate of Medina and walked with us all the way to the Riad. They offered a welcoming Moroccan tea with tasty pastries. The breakfast was generous and had excellent quality (was included to the price of the room). They were cleaning the room everyday. You could enjoy a very quiet, clean and relaxing space inside the Riad. That was very important for us as we felt overwhelmed with the busy and dirty streets of Marrakesh. You could order food or something to eat in a very good price. They have also arranged for us a taxi from and to the airport. Definitely we will go again if we visit Morocco in the future.

The accommodation is in a great place to explore Marrakesh, within walking distance of the medina and also the modern areas outside of the old town walls. The owners Pasqual and Irene were amazing, providing so much important information and welcoming you to their home as guests. There are ample areas to sit and enjoy the amazing courtyard as well as the scenic roof terrace with sunbeds and sofas, sunshine and shade. The housekeeper and late night concierge look after your every need, we had a home cooked meal (definitely do this during your stay) which was the best meal we had during our 6 night stay in Marrakesh.

The breakfast at the riad and the rooftop were amazing. We had a very good night sleep and the area is not noisy at night. The staff at the riad are friendly and always there to help - to arrange taxi to and from airport and help find the place when we arrived as it was quite late. The room and the bathroom were clean and we felt very safe staying in the riad.

The area around the riad is not the safest and it could be hard to navigate at first. WiFi in the room was not good as it was not close to the router.

The building itself is beautiful and very small which makes for a really pleasant stay, I think there are only 3 or 4 rooms in total and often it feels like you're the only one there!. It's also really quiet in the Riad which promises a good night's sleep after a long day in the very noisy Medina. The breakfast hours are long, and if you want to get an earlier breakfast you can. I thought the breakfast was quite good considering it's included in the price for a night. There are a range of good restaurants less than 10 minutes walk, and a place you can buy cheap bottled water a 2 minute walk away. You can get to the big square in about 20 minutes, so everything is close but this Riad isn't right in the middle of the mayhem and is a nice place to retreat to at the end of the day. I think it's definitely worth booking the superior room (if you can afford it) as it looked much bigger than the standard room and I don't think the cost difference was that significant. The owners, Pascal and Irene are available to help you with anything you need and are really helpful if you need them! Excellent place to stay!

Booking.com doesn't include the price of the tourist tax in the costings so we paid about £20 more (for 5 nights) than we expected when we checked out so just bare in mind there will be extra costs associated with your stay that the Riad aren't liable to pay for you.

We had a really nice stay! The riad is beautifully designed and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Despite some negative comments concerning the location, we didn‘t have any negative experiences. Just stick to the map offered by Pascal and if you get lost, walk along the city wall and you easily find your way back. Also, the area between the riad and the centre is a bit calmer and there are nice options for dining or shopping. All in one - thank you for the amazing time!

It is a lovely, well maintained riad owned by a French couple who have put a lot of love into it. Zakia and Abdul maintain the property and look after the guests well. The roof terrace is a nice spot to relax, read and enjoy the sounds of Marrakech.

It was unfortunate that our stay was interrupted by a building close by collapsing from weakness after the devastating earthquake last September. There was no risk to guests but it did make access just a little bit more difficult. This situation should present no problems for future guests.

Breakfast was very generous. Excellent quality. Orange juice, coffee, tea, pancakes, tarte Tatin, bread toasts, butter, croissants, mermelades, yogurts… All prepared at the moment. Good location, inside Medina, quiet and peaceful, very accesible Irene and Pascale, the owners, speak French and English. They are very approachable and talk with the clients like a Family. Only 5 rooms, personal treat. Pascale is there for your doubts, Irene asks about any special need like Dinner or any food intolerance
