The staff were amazing! Fatimaezzahra and Rachida went above and beyond for us, especially during breakfast, we have a lot to thank them! The place where we took our breakfast is a restaurant less then a minute a way (L’amazigh) in a cozy rooftop. We also had the chance to have dinner there once, and not only the food was to die for but also the employees were very friendly. Maria, and the other guy from the front desk that we don’t know the name, were also super kind and helpful. The Riad is right in the middle of the souks, and we could walk safely. We were a bit apprehensive in the beginning because of some comments about how the way to the Riad being a bit dark and hard to find, but it was always really easy for us and at night they path is bright enough. We were to girls and we always felt safe there. The swimming pool in the lobby was good, and what we need after days walking and exploring.

The Riad is hidden away but it is an amazing location, a 5 minute walk from the main roads for taxis and 5 minute the other way to the heart of the souks and market square. The reception staff, where both amazing, tiftif in the day was a joy to speak to and his colleague who we didn't catch his name but worked the night shift was always available and friendly too. They even offered their contact numbers incase we got lost. (Easy to do in the narrow lanes)

The shower, it was just useless. The water seemed to leak out from the hose and not the shower head, making washing almost impossible. I have no idea how the cleaner has not noticed this issue if they are cleaning the shower... The noise level from doors banging and old style bolts being locked from every room and door in the building. By 11pm, it was quiet, but of course, the call to prayer just after 6am wakes up the building, and it all starts again. Breakfast is from 8am, so we missed it both days due to excursions starting at 6am. There is no provision for those having an early start. (A croissant in a bag would have been ideal)

Breakfast was basic: fruit juice, egg, bread, cake, coffee and mint tea. All fresh and set you up for the day. Staff were lovely. The staff in the Riad were extremely welcoming most of our dealings were with Yassine, he gave us lots of recommendations and tips which were very welcomed. The Riad itself was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for accessing both inside the Medina and outside areas.

Bedrooms were ideal, however, drinking water would have been welcomed and drinking glasses. Drinking water at breakfast would also have been welcomed. Our room #5 highlighted we had a terrace but in fact this was a shared terrace above our room, so no privacy sitting outside room as people walking past up and down stairs and also gave disturbed sleep.

Our recent stay at Riad Ghali in Morocco was magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine smiles that made us feel instantly at home. The riad itself was stunning—authentic Moroccan architecture with intricate tilework, lush courtyards, and a rooftop terrace . Each room was clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable for our entire family. What truly stood out was the personalized service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, helping us arrange tours, recommending hidden local gems, and even accommodating our kids with thoughtful touches. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Morocco—especially families looking for a unique and welcoming place to stay. We can’t wait to return!

Although hard to find down a tiny alley just away from the bustle of the souk, once we entered through the old wooden door we were transported into a perfect, charming oasis of calm in a setting which was completely authentic which retained all of the original aspects which make Marrakesh so beguiling. The views from the rooftop were incredible, the pool was perfect and the breakfasts were very ample.

Not much. There is little that I can complain about as the staff members were so welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful, authentic Riad. Good location in the Medina. Super lovely staff with a great Moroccan breakfast served on the roof top. The roof top was also lovely for a sit down in the afternoon and a quiet escape the city. We asked the Road to provide transport from the airport (20euro) which was worth it. A man also met us and walked us to the Riad. We arrived in the dark. It was well worth having the transport as it would have been very difficult to find by ourselves at night.

It’s not a big problem, but it would have been nice to have been able to have a coffee or tea in the afternoon there whilst we ate our cakes from the medina.

Fantastic service by staff members , sufyan, titif , yousuf and khadija. Location is very good , it’s in the centre , just take right and market is start , only 2 min walking Jemma el-fnaa and koutoubia mosque. Hotel breakfast very good, hammam+massage by jamila is very good. Staff members arrange excursions, whenever you want, and help you out in any situation. Even They will guide you about the shopping as well. Menara mall is 20 min walking distance ,and from cars it’s take 7-8 min only . Swimming pool is very clean . Nice rooms clean and tidy.

Some of them rooms need to change beds. Otherwise fantastic hotel

Location was desirable, very close to the central sq and neighbouring souks. Staff are friendly and helpful, able to print boarding passes was extremely helpful.

Relatively difficult to find if you've not visited the city before. Not very well signposted. The pool was far too cold to step in, joint achingly cold but in the right climate I suppose it would have been refreshing. Bathroom shower flooded often and was a nightmare to keep dry. Being on the ground floor can be noisy, staff and guests alike.

All the staff were amazing as soon as we entered Munir was very welcoming and attended to all our needs and requests 10/10. The kitchen staff were also very welcoming and always smiling. The design and features of the riad were better than expected. Hot water during the cold mornings. We asked the staff for extra pillows and they provided without hesitation. Towels were soft and thick. Cosy feel, lighting, ambience, location.

The bathroom was extremely small. No bidet or Muslim shower for hygiene purposes. Shower pressure extremely poor. Hot and cold taps mixed up so be careful not to burn yourself as water can get very hot. Prices for spa treatment were double the price. The suite was cramped. Having a single bed to make it a 3 had ruined the decor of the fabulous room. At times it was difficult to get to the bathroom without knocking yourself against the tv or the coffee table which we couldn't use, again due to lack of space in the room. Single pillows don't help in any hotel. Overall didn't get much for the price paid e.g fridge, gowns, slippers, mineral water in room. Only toiletries provided are shower gel and hand soap. Pool is not heated at all.

friendly staff , nice decoration and swimming pool . Some the rooms are very comfy others are not . We had three different rooms because we made separate reservations. They should provide more breakfast to go options, as travellers go on tours leaving very early in the morning.

The only difficult part was to actually find the property not very visible signs, lack of lighting if you are looking for the Riad at night. Winding and narrow street with no street lighting made it almost impossible to find even with Google maps.
