From the moment we arrived at the riad, we were greeted with genuine warmth and Moroccan hospitality by Abdu that made us feel like honored guests rather than just travelers passing through. Abdu was an amazing host. Nestled in the heart of the medina, the riad was a peaceful retreat from the lively buzz of the souks just outside its doors. The architecture and decor were absolutely stunning — every corner was a blend of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship and tasteful design. Our room was beautifully appointed, with intricate tile work, soft lighting, and a comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was also a highlight. The Abdu and the staff truly went above and beyond — offering recommendations. Their kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and culturally rich experience in Morocco, I can’t recommend this riad highly enough. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming of a return visit.

The property was beautiful and clean. Quiet and nice. The decor was amazing and smelled very lovely. The location was also great, it was tucked away a little from the main streets but still very close to the main square so everything was close by. It was just a 5 minute walk to Cafe de France and the market square Jemaa el-Fnaa. The room was also very clean and tidy. It was spacious and the bathroom was also great. The host and management team was extremely friendly and accomodating. They would be very helpful when we needed anything such as doing laundry, flexibility with breakfast, and booking taxis to various places. They made sure we were well taken care of, even late at night. Someone was always available! It was great having them around! We also loved the breakfast. We made sure to eat the breakfast each day as it was really good! It had an assortment of eggs, fruits, breads, jams, yogurt, tea/coffee, and fresh juice. The management was flexible and super accomodating to getting breakfast ready if we needed it earlier or later than the times offered.

The wifi wasn't the best and would sometimes be spotty. It wasn't as fast as we'd hoped but it got the job done for very light browsing and such.

Look no further if you want an authentic RIAD experience!. Riad Villa Wengé & Spa exceeded our expectations in every way! The staff is attentive, informed, friendly, and dedicated to making your stay outstanding in every way! Manager Abdul and the other two staff men were always happy to help and cheerful. Before we arrived we received a suggested itinerary and we were so happy not to have to arrange any details. A driver picked us up from the airport at 11:30 at night. A man met us in the market and hauled our bags and led us to the riad, we enjoyed atv ride in the desert, a camel ride in the desert, an early morning hot air balloon ride, a guided tour of the city with an incredible guide Abdellah who knows English, French and Italian. He customized our tour to our photographic sensibility and he has his graduate degrees in Moroccan Culture and Tourism. The Riad is close to the square and all of the shops as well. Breakfast in the courtyard is a delight! and the house birds serenade you while you eat. We also enjoyed a massage treatment and a private dinner after one of our days. The property is gorgeous. The location is central. But the staff make all the difference! *This is not for people who want TV's on every wall and feel like they are in America. This is for people who want to experience a luxury Moroccan experience.

If only I could have stayed longer!

Everything about the property was fantastic. The Riad is extremely beautiful and serene with lovely rooms. The rooftop jacuzzi and terrace seating adds to the beauty of this place. It’s right in the center of most landmarks and the rooftop restaurant next door is a big plus. The staff, Abdul in particular, is fantastic. They are very hospitable, helpful and will go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anyone who truly wants to experience Riad stay.

Nothing big but the location of Riad is not very easy to find because it’s tucked away in the by-lanes. However the people around are so friendly and helpful that it didn’t really matter in the end.

The riad is in a very centralised location that allows you to experience the hustle and bustle of the medina and total relaxation upon return. Abdul and Aziz were fantastic hosts that went above and beyond to make us welcome and feel at home - nothing was too big of an ask and their help in booking excursions was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable with great air-conditioning. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety on the menu to choose from for dinner. The spa and hot-tub were an added luxury to enjoy in the evenings.

The only thing the rooms in the riad was missing was a mini-fridge to keep water and drinks chilled.

This is a beautiful riad which matches its pictures perfectly. A tranquil and calm setting with kind staff and very comfortable beds. I felt very well looked after by all of the staff, and enjoyed the breakfast each day. I was served mint tea on arrival which was a lovely touch. The bedroom was beautiful and very well decorated, with a stylish shower / bathroom. I travelled around for 10 nights (staying here for around half of the trip) and this was by far my favourite place to stay of all.

I would’ve liked a few more shaded areas on the roof terrace, but I did visit when it was very very warm!

The Riad is an oasis in the middle of the Medina. The Villa is original and authentic. The highlight of the place is the manager Abdul. He is absolutely amazing, he provided us with great tips and really took the effort to make our stay memorable. Many thanks for that!!! Also thanks to Aziz for his help with carrying our luggage. We also loved the Senses of Marrakech toiletry products.

Difficult to locate. There is no buffet breakfast and the selection offered is rather limited. Please note, that if you arrive by car, you cannot approach the hotel and have to carry in your luggage for about 15 minutes. This is of course not the hotel's fault, as it is in the Medina of the city with very narrow alleys. Also worth noting that the Riad-style villa only has windows facing the corridor, there are no windows towards the street.

We had an amazing stay at Riad Villla Wengé. We couldn’t have been happier with staying here for our holiday. The location was perfect as it is so close to everything. It’s loud in the surrounding areas, but as soon as we’re in the Riad, it’s quiet and secluded which is exactly what is needed. The staff at the Riad were very helpful and friendly. Especially Abdul. He had been great! He had always been available to offer advice about different excursions or places to visit in Marrakesh. We were sad he had not been there for us to say bye to him. The bedroom had been clean and tidy, and lots of attention to detail. Our room had been cleaned daily which we really appreciated walking back into a clean and tidy room. Only bit of feedback we would give is to have an iron in each room and a double plug socket at the sides of the bed as there is currently only one for the lamps. We couldn’t use the lamps which we wanted to as they were lovely, as we had to charge our phones. However, this is not a negative, just some feedback if this change would be possible. We also had a lovely Hamam and massage at the Riad too, which had been perfect. Breakfast had also been very tasty. In particular the fresh fruit and tasty coffee. Quality of the food had been great. Generally, we have nothing bad to say about our stay. It was great. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I exchanged my money at the airport as the rate is better. I got a sim card at the airport to get data. I prebooked the transportation from and to the airport directly with the Riad, and I did not have to worry about finding my way to my accommodation, or queue to get a taxi. Once at the Riad Abdou welcomed me and took the time to explain the different services the Riad had to offer and activities available in Marrakech during my stay. He was asking how the day went to provide guidance when I needed it and I really appreciated that. I recommend the Hammam, Spa and massage from the Riad. It was a very relaxing experience on my first evening and the lady who took care of me was very skilled. I also recommend dining at the Riad, the fish pastilla, couscous royal and soufflé glacé were a treat. For breakfast, Aziz always asked about my preferences, was smilling and caring. I generally felt welcomed and comfortable. I was advised to get a guide to navigate in the Medina, Souks, Palace, Mosque and this is the best thing I did. The Villa is located right next to the Spice Market. It is best to go for walks early mornings of evenings when the souks are closed to appreciate the traditional architecture. The Villa is also located next to Jemaa el-Fna place. I opted for fixed priced stands and markets within 30m walk of it to have a greater experience (as I do not fancy negotiating prices). I had an Amazigh experience at the Riad. Abdou and Aziz know the art of hospitality! Thank you

We have enjoyed our stay so much. The riad is so beautiful. It is in the perfect location, very close to the medina and souks. You can easily reach to the Jemaa el-Fnaa square by walking which only takes around 4 minutes. The staff is very nice, helpful and hospitable. Special thanks to Abdulselam and Aziz for making our stay so memorable and unforgettable. In general, all of the staff members are so awesome and they all have got a beautiful smile on their faces. We would like to thank all the staff members so much for the wonderful hospitality. The riad is so quiet at night. You really feel peaceful inside. The terrace is amazing. The breakfast is great. We especially loved the beautiful smell inside. Whenever you visit Marrakech, this is the place to stay :)
