We stayed at Kasbah Tamsna and had an amazing experience. The design is stunning — it preserves the authentic feel of Ouarzazate while adding modern touches in a very tasteful way. As someone who loves architecture, I really appreciated how well thought-through everything was. We loved it so much that we couldn’t stop taking photos around the property — every corner is beautiful. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the staff were absolutely wonderful: warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I can easily say it’s the best place to stay in Ouarzazate — truly unforgettable.

Morocco + Japanese design, which also reminds us some of the best resorts at Tuscany!! It’s very new, perfectly furnished, with unbeatable view, relaxing vibes and beautiful craftsmanship. Love the design. All the staffs are great with 6-star services. They care about the guests, and love chatting and sharing life together. It’s run and owned by a couple of Morocco husband and Japanese wife. We have the honor to meet with the Japanese wife owner (Maya) and she’s super nice as well. Staffs there are happy, which also make all the guests feel like home. Lastly, the food is the best among all we had in Morocco (even better than the most expensive hotel in Marrakesh that we visited). It’s fusion with Japanese character. Local wines served and selected there are amazing as well. Price is extremely good value for money. Highly highly recommended!!!

One of the best stays I’ve had in a while ! I had the pleasure of staying in one of their suites recently for a few days with my sister. The hospitality was phenomenal, the whole team was so lovely and no request was ever too much, they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The food was great! You were never left needing more. Breakfast was plentiful and each day there was a mix of food options for both lunch and dinner, a blend of Moroccan and Japanese / East Asian influences. The hotel in itself is beautiful, clean and a lot bigger than I expected! They’ve really taken the time and care to curate a stunning space. From the interiors of the room to the landscaping of the garden and pool area it was treat to be around. I look forward to visiting again in the near future Inshallah :)

Hotel is lovely and very nicely decorated. Room was spacious and nice. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed having a drink in the bar before dinner. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Our room was a bit cold. We kept the heater on in the bathroom because it was really cold in there. You cannot take a shower without getting the floor all wet because there is no shower curtain. The food did not always come hot out of the kitchen. Our soup was room temperature and other dishes were just lukewarm.

The most amazing stay so far in Morocco. We were warmly welcomed by the concierge staff right away as our driver parked the car, they literally ran over to help us with our luggage. Then we were greeted by the hotel manager and after some mint tea as well as the check-in process, he showed us around the hotel, as well as the facilities there. I can tell they are really proud of the establishment and the beautiful hospitality there. We enjoyed the view, the hospitality and the nice room there. We had dinner there and picked the Asian food choice (Thai spring roll and Thai rice), I would say the Thai spring roll was up to standard (from an Asian perspective), the rice on the other hand could be better if the rice can be cooked with slightly less water (the texture was like Japanese rice rather than Thai rice given the water used). Drinks were good too, I had a Gin Buck and it was good. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday as well as on our honeymoon, thus they even arranged a cake (though that was way too sweet) and dimmed the whole restaurant during dinner with a drum-accompanied birthday song to celebrate that with us. Guess my husband did have a memorable birthday in Morocco :) Breakfast is usual, coffee could be a bit nicer (now it’s just normal brew coffee not expresso) and eggs’ portion could be slightly bigger. Other than that I can’t find any negative parts regarding my stay! Thanks to all the hotel staff that helped us during our stay :)

The staff were so friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make everything perfect for the guests. The view from the bedrooms is stunning. The decor is amazing, a mix of Morocco and Japan. The food was very good. The pool area was lovely.

Our bedroom (the Sun Suite) could have done with a small mirror on the wall in the bedroom which would have helped us 2 girl friends get ready when one of us was in the bathroom. We would also have liked more hanging hooks and hangers in the wardrobe area. It would have been good to order a meze type lunch that we could have eaten by the pool rather than the larger set lunch menu to be eastern in the restaurant.

This accommodation is run by a lovely team who really care that you are having a great stay. The pool area is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and dinner is tasty , authentic and well priced. We stayed one night here before we took a flight from Ouazazate airport which is 10 mins away. I would highly recommend staying at Kasbah Tamsna. They care about their guests and comfort.

What truly stood out was the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a pleasant and welcoming place to stay.

An elegant and tranquil hotel, with lovely staff. The pool area was an escape from the heat and dust of the desert, and our room was a good size - we had a balcony with a lovely view across the mountains. The restaurant has great breakfast, and a different 3 course set menu every night. We would definitely stay again.

An oasis of peace in Morrocco. We stop for one night at Kasbah Tamsna on our way to Merzouga. Everything was amazing. Grounds are so nice. Food was good. And there are little details everywhere that make that place incredible.

Location is the obvious question mark, but once you are there, no need to go elsewhere. For us, no need to be in the city of Ouarzazate.
