We had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Taghazout. The beach view was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the private beach and the pool, everything was just spot on. My kids had so much fun, and I felt totally comfortable letting them swim in the pool on their own because it felt very safe. The gym was well-equipped, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a real treat every morning, lots of tasty options and fresh moroccan food. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to!

The floor near the pool is extremely slippery, which could be a safety concern. It would be great if the hotel could address this.

The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, and polite. The pool was great — especially the adults-only pool, which was very calm and super clean. Everything was well-maintained, and there were no disturbances at all. The buffet was varied and offered a good selection. Overall, everything was excellent.

Overall, I enjoyed and appreciated everything — except for the cleanliness of the room. While the room was generally clean, there were still some things that weren’t properly taken care of. The daily housekeeping wasn’t done thoroughly. We even found a cockroach in the room at night, which was very unpleasant. They often forgot to empty the bins. There was always dust and some dirt on the floor, even after housekeeping. So overall, the room wasn’t really cleaned properly each day.

Staff are very friendly, breakfast is good, bed was clean, staff went above and beyond to make a surprise in the room for my partners birthday, the hammam was excellent, good size gym, there was a ping-pong table. Will recommend as a great place to stay for a few days and unwind

The service was very slow to order food when you were outside in the beach beds. Took about 40mins just to get an ice-cream. This happened all the time, so they need to work on this. Also for dinner the chefs were grilling meat but they were over burnt and they just didn't have attention to detail

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Taghazout while celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special—friendly, warm, and always ready to help. A big shoutout to Maha at the reception, who was amazing! She helped us with everything—from suggesting local spots to visit, to organizing the most delicious chocolate cake and lovely room decorations for the birthday. The food at all the restaurants was fantastic, and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. The location is perfect—right on the beach and just a short walk to a nearby village with great local food and a relaxed vibe. We had such a memorable holiday and can’t wait to come back!

Breakfast was incredible but I thought the staff was the best. The service was amazing, especially Haitam who has helped me throughout my whole stay, giving us tips and showing us around. He really cared a lot about our stay! Overall the location was also fantastic and the hotel is beautiful.

There was a slight miscommunication as I requested a queen bed multiple times via booking.com as the booking originally came through as a twin bed room. They said they would get that sorted but it didn't get sorted in the end. Not a huge issue overall.

Beautiful hotel grounds, the beach was very nice. Our favorite place was the beach club restaurant, very nice setting, service and food (grilled fish and Moroccan salads). The breakfast was also quite nice with multiple Moroccan dishes. The staff was super nice. The rooms were very nice as well, with a long balcony where you can have a drink or a tea. We also liked a lot the path that goes along the hotels from one beach extremity to another (about 1 hour walk in total). I also recommend going to Taghazout, and have a tea near the sea. Overall, we had a very nice stay

There are a few quirks, but they are not show stoppers. They put the dinner terrace right under the rooms on the right side (when your back is to the road), and that's fairly noisy because of the music. So if I were to come back, I would insist to have a room on the left side. That being said, they dutifully stop the music at 22:30, so it's not a huge problem either. In the same location, they have the breakfast area, but no music, so we were not bothered by it. There are two heated swimming pools (out of three), but the water is still quite cold (we went end of April), hard to get in. The A/C in the room has a vent along the bed, so it can be a bit cold if you don't set it right

Beach sand in front of the hotel is very dirty, as if abandoned , no lifeguard at the beach , presence of dangerous stray dogs Kitchen is very slow or short staffed. A lot of time to wait if you order around the pool, room service…. We were woken up twice with the noise of Housekeeping staff . They were extremely noisy and talking and making jokes loudly without any respect of the guests around and it was only 8h30 am ! This was the biggest disappointment of this stay ! This behaviour is not acceptable !

This Hyatt is close to perfect. Excellent service with extremely nice personnel, lovely pools (we especially liked the adult pool with an ocean view), very comfortable beds, nice sun beds by the beach. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever had. We felt perfectly comfortable as two single women as well.

If one is actively looking for things to complain about: Prices for food and drinks are more than normal prices in Germany (not Hyatt prices), there's very little service by the beach front and the location could be better - but it's a 20-25 minute walk by the ocean into Taghazout. Price to value is in my view in general excellent. I don't understand why people were complaining about slow service in the reception or too loud music by the pool - I'm very noise sensitive and impatient and can't find either true. The dinner buffet is only worth it if you're really into meat and fish.

The hotel deserve the 5* however as always the people make the place what it is not the layout. Great staff very helpful - Genuine kindness and smiles, from my guy who served the towels by the pool to the managment who printed out our boarding passes. Special thanks to Nassima who we met every morning - managed to get some extra humus as my mom’s favourite part of her breakfast. Also have to mention Reda who get a cake as a suprise for mom’s birthday as well welcomed us on our arrival. Had a great massage and enjoyed my short break. Great food - lots of options. Only 3 days but felt they know us well enough as a friend. I won’t hesitate to return.

Pool opens not early enough 10am and closing too soon at 5pm/6pm. Would of love an early swim after my gym session or late one after dinner. Spa session only last an hour while you can use the sauna and jacuzzi for about £30. Same opinion on lunch and dinner - great food, lot of choices however I payed more than at home in a restaurant (UK) - £40 / person found quite pricey as you know you in Morocco.

Excellent accomodations. Although our first room did not lock properly, we were switched to another room the next day. Every part of the stay was excellent especially the clean grounds, kind staff, and great restaurants. We liked our family holiday there because it was beach front, away from the main town but still a nice walk if we wanted to visit. The spa was also very lovely and appreciated that the hamman had to be reserved. The treatment was excellent and felt private without tons of people in the facility.

More drinking water provided in the room and towels could be replenished.
