Our terrace room matched the pictures, offering a beautiful sea view. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was friendly.
The stairs were very steep, making it challenging to carry a 28-inch suitcase upstairs. It would be helpful to assist guests in such situations. Communication was difficult, I had to rely on Google Translate. The Wi-Fi was intermittent, and the internet speed was slow.

Located in the medina near the Hotel Continental, all parts of the medina were easily accessible by foot, as was the waterfront. Our room off the terrace was light and airy (but up many stairs). Staff was friendly and especially the young woman who provided our daily breakfasts which were fresh and generous. The roof top has a table to sit and great views over the port to the ocean (and Spain). We found Riad TinJaa to be clean and inviting.
There was no signage, we had to go by google maps, the address and the friendly local shopkeepers. The main floor common area is small, we always chose the one table by the window for breakfast.

The lady who did our check in was amazing. Very kind, welcoming. The bedroom and the terrace were beautiful. We arrived very early in the morning so we asked to leave our bags before check in and to collect them after check out. That was not a problem, thank you! The only thing to improve is that the only WC outside the bedroom in the common areas was in a tiny space. The flush was broken, so we had to flush it with the toilet shower. It didn't have a sink either so we washed our hands in the kitchen.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar Tinjaa. Our room was on the 3rd floor with great views over the Medina from our room as well as the upstairs terrace. The housekeeper brought us mint tea when we arrived and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace while spping our tea. For breakfast she served us coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, a selection of breads, jam, hard-boiled eggs and yogurt with fruit. We didn't mind the climb to the upstairs rooms as it was worth the view and steep, narrow stairs are typical for many other places we stayed during our trip.
The pillows were too firm and too stuffed for me. The housekeeper spoke only Arabic and French, so communicating with her was a challenge but we managed with Google Translate.

The location is absolutely beautiful, on one of the best streets of the city — very cosy, relaxing, and charming. However, no one helped us with the luggage, and the stairs were quite a lot, making it difficult, especially for elderly guests or those with heavy bags. The bed was also too small for two people to sleep comfortably. Overall, the location is fantastic, but be aware that access with luggage can be challenging, and the accommodation might not be the best choice for everyone.

This was a lovely Riad to stay in Tangier. Our stay was over Eid-El-Adha so most of the Medina was closed but our host was most gracious. Great views lovely room, very clean.
The first night we arrived, I hadn’t slept for over 28 hours due to our flight and other travel - when we asked about a restaurant we were first taken to a gentleman who was very friendly, but also very driven to sell us scarves. We then were wished away to a restaurant where we were told we could use credit but it turned out we couldn’t. From there we were soaked to another person selling rugs. I had to be firm to get th to release us so I could go get some sleep. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant atay.

The local in the old town is great. The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is generous. Has a small roof terrace with nice view. Lots of Moorish features in the building and artwork.
The hotel is hard to find in the narrow streets and no signs. A what3words pin might help. Stairs to top room are narrow, not easy to get up top, if at the older end of spectrum.

Great location, you can find it easily. Nice rooftop and cute rooms. Meriem was amazing. She helped us finding a Taxi, suggested some nice spots to visit and the best way to get there, thank you so much for the service. The room was cute and comfy. The breakfast was great and the quantity more than ok with options of coffee tea and a very fresh orange juice.
There was only a curtain separating the bathroom to the bedroom so for my friends who were 3, it was not ideal but okish :D

The breakfast was tasty and filling, the room is HUGE and the facilities are nice and modern. The staff are friendly and the location is great. Strong WIFI, too.
The shower pressure is not strong and the water stopped a couple of times for us. Also, the stairs are steep and narrow, so watch out if you have a lot of luggage or struggle with going up and down stairs.

Amazing beautiful traditional house with beautiful furniture and colorful Moroccan details. Great bed, nice spacey extra room to chill and good air conditioning that was very handy in the hot summer. Cosy little bathroom with a good shower. We slept like babies, although we got woken up really early in the morning by the morning prayer, but that's part of the experience of staying in Tanger's Medina of course. It was a little search to find the place at first as the Medina is a bit of a maze, but locals were so friendly to help us find it. The breakfast was very nice: egg, olives, Moroccan pancake, marmelade, honey, pastry, bread, cream cheese, coffee, mint tea,.. - and best of all: a rooftop to chill or have breakfast on ( ask for a tray ) with a breathtaking 360 view of the Medina, the sea and Tanger. Very close to the Petit Socco with nice cafes or Cinema Rif (with a great cafe). Would stay here again!
