The place is authentic, peaceful and cozy. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and a special shoutout to the room service lady who was so kind and kept everything spotless each day. The location is perfect —just a few minute walk to most of the main attractions, right in the heart of the old medina. The rooftop terrace has a beautiful view of both the town and the sea, which made our mornings. (Note: To reach the riad, you’ll need to walk about 3 minutes through narrow alleys from the main road, as taxis can’t get all the way to the door. It wasn’t a problem for us at all, but it’s something to keep in mind for accessibility) Our room looked just like the photos — a bit simple and cozy with an authentic Moroccan touch. The only downside was that our window opened onto the interior courtyard, so there wasn’t much fresh air from outside. But the A/C worked perfectly which made up for it. Overall, it was a nice stay and we had a great time!

Nothing was really bad

Amazing host, beautiful building, great rooms, artistic bathrooms, lovely atmosphere, perfect location. The staff was extremely friendly, kind and helpful; the riad itself is located where the market is so you're in the middle of it 'all'; the view from the roof is breathtaking; everything was super-clean, and safe, and welcoming. Thank you so very much for your hospitality.

It was cold - there is an air-heater though, so it helped a little (not ideal if you struggle with sinuses infection), and they provided us with a good warm blanket on top of the bedding, so they did their absolute best. It was a minor thing, honestly, it could not be more perfect.

We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and so helpful. They held our bags for us until check in, gave us personal recommendations for spots to see, helped us set up a taxi driver for a tour (who was excellent!), and even lent us an umbrella! Rooms were tidy and clean, and the bathroom smelled great. No issues with the air con, and it kept the room nice and cool. We didn't have a chance to have the breakfast (because we were up and out before breakfast each day we stayed), but we're sure it was great too!

One small thing is that the beds were pretty hard. We still slept well, but were a little sore when waking up.

All the staff members were so amazing and accomodating, they helped us to find tours and sight seeing spots as well as reccomending places to eat. The breakfast was lovley with such a perfect view in the morning, the best way to start a relaxing day in tangier. I couldnt commend the team more! The riad was situated close to the main road so easy to get in and out of the medina! Only a 15 min walk to the beach and port and most of the medina and kasbah is easily reachable by foot

The room is a little small but its clean and comfortable so didnt dampen the trip too much! Good if you want to spend your time in tangier exploring the medina and the city, maybe not the best if you want to spend a lot of time in the hotel

staff is very helpful and friendly, gave best recommendations about Tangier. location is also very convenient if you want to stay in Medina. Marina Tanja Bay is only 15mins walk from here so easy to keep chilling out till late night. Breakfast at the rooftop with great views was the best thing to start the day. 24 hours reception was a great advantage for any questions we had and super early check out. It’s a 3mins walk from the main square as the car cannot go on the inner streets so be mindful of taking heavy luggage for the trip.

the property was all fine. even though Tangier is one of the cleanest cities I have been to yet but the inner streets in Medina stink a bit and not properly cleaned.

The place was amazing! Located just in the middle of the medina, but as soon as you entered the riad, the ambience was calm and peaceful. The staff was tremendously attentive and friendly, thank you so much for making our stay so nice and feel so welcome! The room was really good and in general the riad is very beautiful. The breakfast was also super nice, with plenty of moroccoan cuisines and its famous tea. It was served in the terrace with amazing views of Tanger. Definitely will go back to Riad Tingis when visiting Tanger.

Muhammed met us during check in, he is such a nice and helpful person and so were others who managed this property , they were respectful, courteous, gave prompt response when we asked for any assistance, the breakfast was very delicious, and table spread was more than we asked for. The view at the terrace was everything..we got to experience Tangier upclose because of Riad Tngis.

The road has a killer rooftop view over the Old Medina. I looked to having breakfast there in the morning. The road is also located inside the Old Medina, which sightseeing is right outside the door. There are abundant choices of restaurants and an easy crawl to get to. The staff were super great, very informative. They always answered my question before arriving and during our stay. They set up our transportation coming from the train station and when we left for the airport, saving us the hassle of dealing with taxi fee, for example.

The bathroom is a little tight; it wouldn't have been of much an issue if my face wasn't touching the wall in front of me when using the toilet.

Nice terrace with view over the Medina to the sea. Room was a good size and had the most comfortable bed of the 4 riads we stayed at during this trip in Morocco. Close to one of the entrances for taxi drop off and pick up. Staff helpful and provided good restaurant recommendation plus where to visit marked on a map for us. Breakfast on terrace was nice and plentiful.

Quiet time only starts at midnight, that said it was quiet from 11pm so we had no problem sleeping.

Riad Tingis was wonderful overall but the absolute standout features for me were the incredible warm welcome we received on arrival, including a cup of mint tea and snack (for not just us but also our non-staying visitors) served to us on the rooftop terrace on arrival. The other standout of course is the rooftop terrace. It is very nicely appointed with sunny and shady areas, tables and chairs and outdoor lounges, and offers wonderful views across the medina and out into the Straight of Gibraltar. The rooms were very comfortable and offered comfy beds, good shower, TV with a wide range of channels and a very new and very effective air conditioner.

The place does have the potential to be noisy given the internal courtyard with all rooms facing on to each other - but this is really just what comes with staying in a riad and we had no issues with this whatsoever.
