We arrived with a flat tyre, at 5.30 in the afternoon, straight away a number was given for the local garage and it was fixed in the morning. Our stay was excellent, breakfast was outstanding, absolutely delicious!! We invited family over for dinner, but found out that no dinner was served no problem at all lots of eateries near by. (We would have liked to know this beforehand however it was no issue whatsoever we did not read properly on the web site, just read it on the website)We were collected (as we had a flat tyre) and went out for dinner. The hotel is clean, great service, Beds were very comfy, clean bathrooms!! Private and very quiet. Cold beer was served when we sat down, we had been travelling all day. We ordered a beer (local) delicious!! In the sunroom it was lovely with the sun unfortunately to cold to sit outside (gorgeous patio!!) Great atmosphere, great service, clean and comfy plus a great location, forests, Heather (veluwe nature reserve nearby) so much to do and see, places nearby to rent bicycles. (Recommended)we were there for business. Highly recommend!!

Ehhhhhh, nothing!!!

Stylish, modern and very clean rooms. Quality mattress. Beautiful restaurant with a patio. Nice fresh breakfast. Ample parking even in full shade. Easy to find. Very close to the national park.

The stairs leading to the rooms are very steep and the upper corridor very narrow. The room was so small that we had trouble finding space for our luggage. The beautiful restaurant unfortunately served meals only till 6 p.m. (due to lack of personal.) No vegetarian main meals and all served with french fries. There was no water boiler in the room nor any other possibility to get a coffee/ tea after closing of the restaurant. Located right on the main road.

The Hotel Buitenlust is within walking distance of the Park de Hoge Veluwe. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel has a lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The young lady who checked us in and took our dinner order was very friendly and kind. The meals were excellent - a buffet breakfast and a lovely dinner. Parking is easy. The only consideration is that there is no elevator, so you will have to take up bags up the stairs, however I am the staff would be happy to help if you needed assistance. All in all, a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the national park and have a good dinner after a long day of hiking.

Clean and tidy hotel on the edge of Hoenderloo. Plentiful breakfast and comfortable beds!

Staff were friendly but everything felt rushed. We were checked in by the chef who was again, friendly but couldn't give any local advise. The owner (assumably) mumbled to her how many nights and didn't bother to make any acknowledgement at all. The lady by the breakfast didnt bother to ask how our stay was or make any small talk whatsoever. Really a shame.

Not having access to any tea or coffee making facilities and the hotel kitchen and restaurant being closed on a Monday and Tuesday, made it difficult. Tea and coffee were only available 'until the last guest checked in' on Monday and Tuesday. It would have been helpful to have a kettle and tea/coffee tray in the room

While everything was according to our expectations, the hotel price can be improved

The hotel is the perfect stay over when visiting the Hoge Veluwe park and the Kruller Muller museum. The location can’t be any better, as it is right at the entrance of the park. A spacious, clean and comfortable room ( space enough for a bath, which it hasn’t unfortunately), with a wonderful breakfast-the best and biggest variety I have ever had! Definitely recommended!

Family run business with proof of personal touch and detail of maintenance. Quiet and refreshing location but still with access to public bus.

Very cozy, well-maintained hotel in a beautiful and quiet location very close to the part entrance. The owners were friendly, restaurant food delicious, bed comfortable, and I think the owners have an excellent taste as everything looks just perfect.
