It’s small but clean and comfortable. The terrace right on the water is so peaceful even though there’s a rather large road nearby. We very much enjoyed having our delicious breakfast on the terrace looking at the cute ducks and watching the fish jump. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Their English may be a little limited but there was no problem understanding each other. All in all wonderful. Would recommend any time.

Only two little things: 1. I would have liked if there was somewhere to put the suitcase other than the floor. 2. That we only booked 2 nights 😁

Quiet location, nice view, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast.

Could have done with information about how to find the property using public transport. Bus no 2 from station stops at De Wadden, a short walk over the bridge to the property. Google maps says to get off at the stop before, giving a long and complicated walk.

Really nice place and comfortable. We were a family of four and we really enjoyed it. The house is just next to a canal and you are able to sit outside watching the floating ducks!

The kitchen is not private as the owner says but I did not expect to have the owner inside without any warning first or at least a knock on the door. Also the door that separates the kitchen from the rooms has not key to lock it, so you don't feel like being private. Nevertheless the owners are very kind and hostile but we needed to feel more privacy

This is not city center Gouda but we were looking for something in that specific area so it worked out perfectly. The view is amazing and the place has really good chill vibes. The room is clean and cozy, we loved the floor to ceiling windows with the view to the lake.

The room is not big, we had to play tetris a bit with the suitcases. Other than that all was great

Very friendly and nice owners of the accommodation. Great location in a quiet suburb, but at the same time very close to the center of Gouda. Very good location for planning trips to famous destinations (Amtrdam, Rotterdam, Zeeland...). I highly recommend this accommodation.

Maybe just a little monotonous breakfast, but you can definitely arrange a change with the owners (we were only for three days, so we didn't deal with it). Coffee lovers have to put up with a "bag" coffee maker. You have to go to a cafe for an espresso.

The view was great, the place was clean. Value for money. The breakfast was AMAZING. The owner went out of their way to provide a high-quality continental breakfast. There are a lot of bevarages/snacks to choose from, which was great. Hist is also friendly and well prepared. Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

The fact that the owner kept going on about our estimated time of arrival indicated as 15:00, but when the booking confirmation came throug it said anytime for 14:00 to 20:00. Either booking.com should not send that mail, or the owner needs to be more flexible towards guests.

Good host, sleep near the water is cool, the breakfast was good

The room is small, even compared to other Dutch hotels. The space for the shower, toilet, and sink is too tight. The TV is really small. The restaurants are within 30 minutes walking distance and not in a nice area. Driving to Gouda is only 5 minutes but you have to pay for parking if you find a space.

Luxurious, light, very spacious accommodation in great setting overlooking a lake. Owner very helpful and friendly.

No milk available on evening of arrival so couldn't make a cuppa but mentioned to owner who provided it in the morning. ( I think most visitors have black tea/coffee) No nearby restaurants within walking distance - need to go into centre of Gouda which meant getting back on our bikes after a full day of cycling. However, great restaurants!

comfortable room with a shared kitchen, located on the water with a beautiful porch. very nice hosts and a good breakfast. Quiet location with easy access wirh a bus to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a charming little place right on the water, all windows and a deck. Clean, comfy bed, nice breakfast! The owner not only let us use his rowboat and stand up paddle boat, but also drove us to the Gouda train station. In summary - amazing!
