To use the microwave you had lift it out of the cupboard & move items off the kitchen tops to use. Stairs are steep leading to the basement room.

Access was very difficult. The digital key would probably have been fine had it not been for our room being in the basement. There was no signage to help us locate our rooms and no-one at the location. We called the helpline only to hear the phone ringing out in the next room. Luckily someone else staying there could speak English.

The property is full of character. My mother in law who was traveling with us was staying in a bedroom that used to be a cell😆 Even though there was some initial confusion regarding our booking it was dealt with efficiently and in friendly manner. We got fresh milk and also the lady in charge prepared we us little breakfast bags to take with us as we were setting off early in the morning.

Everything was nice

Authentic, nicely renovated and restored historic Raadhuis. Tasteful and well furnished. The owners did an excellent job. Also, check in with the digital keys was super efficient and allowed me to travel for work without stress about check-in times etc.

Although nothing the owners can do anything about it, but the church bells kept me awake some part of the night.

What a unforgettable experience in staying here. Only us our family one group guest stay that night. Kid loves it, although he has been ill for whole night.. Hotel staff is very nice. My husband and I need to go for a meeting next early morning and kid stays in the restaurant and does his homework until we are back and staff prepares perfect breakfast and let us pack them to go if we can't eat them out. The room we stayed in was very pretty, like a room from a fairy tale. The bed mattress was very comfortable, and the shower was modern and nice. The breakfast was delicious, and most of all, the hotel manager was very kind and helpful. It only took 15 minutes by car to Breda, so it was good to go Restaurants. Thank you.

Our room ( lilliane) was absolutely wonderful. Very complete and comfortable bed and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend. Also their restaurant in a church ( 1/2 a mile down the street) was a wonderful experience . We were able to park our bikes inside!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!! The town was absolutely adorable and the hotel did not disappoint. We rented 2 rooms and both were beautifully renovated. Comfortable beds, stylish decor, modern bathrooms plus breakfast included! Plus the sense of history as the Old Town Hall was very fun, and well respected by the owners. I cannot fault anything, our stay was absolutely perfect. My only regret is that we only stayed 1 night! Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed

The self check in is something easy because you can open the doors with your phone but you miss a friendly face when u arrive. Not so much restaurants around

We loved Everything...the rooms are so beautiful and well designed. We stayed in the bunker with a private door to outside and everything was perfect to a .(Point) The breakfast was also the highlight of our stay. Our kids loved the place very much. We highly recommend this hidden germ in Netherlands
