The hotel is basic but comfortable. The staff at the hotel are very nice.The architecture of the house is very Dutch. The room facing the river has a nice view. Walking distance to all the interesting places in Middelburg.

No rooms on ground floor so people with reduced mobility need to be aware that they need to climb a few stairs.

Hôtel Le Beau Rivage is a lovely property with a lot of charm located near the river and main part of town as well as very close to the train station. The owner/staff were very welcoming and kind, and the room was extremely clean and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Middelburg.

Amazing service! The receptionist was so friendly and accomodating, and was there for us whenever we needed anything. Super comfortable bed, amazing shower, and a gorgeous view, we will definitely come back in the future!

Helpful & friendly host, central location in a very smart, clean Town, with a Village atmosphere..good choice of Restaurants nearby. Very nice bakery just around the corner, Breakfast is offered if required. A very Bike orientated Town, affluent area...

Pretty waterfront location. Across from the train station. 5 minutes to the town centre. Very clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff.

Excelent room

perfect location, right across from the station and walking distance from town. Surprisingly quiet! We had the room with a balcony that overlooked the river, just lovely.

The owner Gerard has helped us out very nicely with our bikes and upgraded our room for our comfort. Just what we hoped for after a long day on the bike He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and suggested nice restaurants in the neighborhood and places to go. He also took our feedback seriously and made us feel very welcome. Clearly a man with experience in hospitality!

The rooms are fully fitted but the style is outspoken so might not be to everybody's liking and there are no elevators in the historical building therefore it is not for those who have a hard time getting around.
