Perfect breakfast, squeaky clean rooms, warm staff, beautiful atmosphere and lovely pool & wellness facilities - I have an 11 year old and every day we were looking forward to going back to the hotel to enjoy some pool time and to rest in our room

I gave 9/10 because of a tiny mishap for the bike rentals. The portal you purchase extras did not have very detailed information about bikes. We ended up cancelling our reservation for bikes cause they don’t have child bikes or bike seats. If we could foresee this, we could’ve reached out to another bike rental before everything shut down for Easter. BUT this didn’t have an impact on our stay cause the bikes weren’t our main transportation.

- Staff is very good and helpful. Especially the tall blond lady and the experienced waiter at the bar are exceptioanlly perfect people and extreme hard workers. They do everything to make the guests happy. - Drinks are all good, especially wine. - Cleanliness. The house keeping is also very kind and fast. - The staff at the reception is very professional - Beautiful garden - The pool and sauna

- Food was not so special considering the price except fries and cheese. - The cooking time is extremely long, you can earliest in 1 hour. But the starters are served relatively faster and taste much better than the main course. You may consider ordering the starters only. - Stale bread at breakfast - Layout of the food at breakfast - The smell of the soap at the rooms is very sharp. Could be something softer, not everyone would like it.

Great stay! Beautiful place, nice room and spa, good value, parking, and communication in French.

The plumbing in the bathroom and toilet needs attention (water constantly running, showerhead and hose at the end of their life). The dinner portions were very small : the tartare was barely 1 cm high, compensated by a huge dessert, without which you’d leave hungry.The scrambled eggs at breakfast were also very poor, too salty both times (honestly the worst I’ve ever tasted)

Our stay at Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek was excellent value for money. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was fantastic with the bonus of a balcony, and the pool was really nice. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

As vegans, it didn’t seem that there were many options available. Plant-based food was mentioned, but with breakfast priced at nearly €25 per person, we felt that a place with only a passing reference to it was unlikely to offer a breakfast worth that cost.

Excellent hotel in great environment. Rooms are comfortable, beds are great. Nice little wellness area with no extra charge. Breakfast was good but busy. We were offered a later check-out time which was great.

We booked the ‘castle dinner’ instead of eating at the hotel restaurant. The food was average, with a poor wine selection. Not possible to order sides (like fries). Although staff tried their best we were disappointed with the level of quality presented. Hotel food and drinks (also in the cafe area) is overpriced.

From arrival welcomed with a friendly face and service, to the room, evening meal, breakfast selection a great hotel fins and so close to the Eflting park which was our primary reason for the stay. Having the supermarket underneath was also great as we were able to stock up on snacks and items before we headed to our next stop over in Ghent Very good hotel all round

Nothing at all, cannot think of one item with this hotel

Everything was great. The hotel is located next to a lake and surrounded by greenery and lush landscape. It has all the facilities needed and we especially loved the pool, sauna and fitness room. Everything was sparkling clean, the breakfast was generous, the staff were friendly. We had an incredible relaxing weekend. They even made a separate bed for our 6 year old free of charge. This hotel is a gem, we’ll surely come back.

I’m very picky and I basically had trouble finding anything to complain about :) Maybe the water pressure in our bathroom?

We visited for a short stay and had a very relaxing time. The hotel is quietly located and we had a spacious room facing sunny south. The beds were comfortable and the hotel has everything you need with a delicious food included (we tried breakfast and dinner). We came with our 4 year old daughter and she enjoyed the stay and the swimming pool. The staff was very nice, polite and very informative.

It was a surprise. Old buildings with fine, comfy and refurbished rooms. Breakfast was very complete and tasty. The bar was very nice, separated from the restaurant. Surroundings very calm and nature integrated.

I imagine that it must be cold to move from the rooms to the breakfast during the winter or rain. That was the only thing I could notice.

This is a special resort located near the three-country point and so the area is very special. We got two spacious rooms that were connected so we can help our daughter family with a baby in the other room, which was very convenient.

There is no air-condition so when you open the windows / doors, there are no nets to prevent mosquitos to enter the room and bite you during the night (there are many mosquitos due to the adjacent lake).
