It's such a wonderful hotel, nestled in such magnificent nature, where everything is perfect. I don't want to tell anyone I won't be able to find a room next time :) It gives you an indescribable joy. A lake in front of you, nestled in the woods... Happy people all around you. Great customers. Great staff. (Finding both is sometimes very difficult.) I'm not exaggerating: I parked my car. I took a few steps towards the hotel. And I thought to myself, I was in heaven. As someone who has written hundreds of hotel reviews, I'm going to issue a warning: If anyone writes a negative review about this hotel, don't read it! I'd like to thank everyone from the reception desk to the service staff, and even the guests who visit.

I really like this hotel, location is awesome - a bit far away from the city, but this is OK. Quiet, a lot of nature around. Rooms are also nice, more space then I really need. Facilities in hotel are also OK, I didn't use sauna and swimming pool, but they were looking quite OK. Restaurant is as well on high level, can only recommend.

I really like this hotel, so there is nothing too much to say what was wrong. Getting cab/taxi there was a bit problematic (but that could be related to sports event in the city same weekend), and it is quite distance to major commute points, but this is nothing what hotel can do with.

Beautiful location set amongst the trees. Such a peaceful place, with a lovely, sunny patio. Good sized double bedroom (118) with a very comfortable bed and super clean bathroom. No air con, but the windows have anti-mosquito netting, so you can have them open all night without any problem - and you get to wake up to birdsong in the morning! There is a railway line nearby, but we didn’t hear any late night/overnight trains at all. Loved having use of the pool, steam room and sauna - you just ring reception from the pool area and they switch the sauna & steam rooms on for you. A definite recommend from me! All staff members were kind and helpful throughout - nothing was too much effort. They made us feel very welcome. We would certainly stay here again. I noticed some negative reviews before I booked, but I’m so glad that I ignored them. Otherwise we would have missed out on a super overnight stay.

Nothing - a really enjoyable experience

Great surroundings with the lake and hotel terrace next to it. You can walk around the lake (appr. 10-15mins). Good breakfast. Great dinner (good cook probably) but a bit expensive. Rooms are OK, meeting the standards.

Mobile aircon was a bit of a compromise (worked but noisy and if you want to put its output tube outside, you need to do it on your own thru the window). My colleague had lot of mosquitos in her room, I was lucky not having one... My washbasin was broken, though functionally worked well.

The whole experiece was fatastic, the hotel is in a lovely area of greenery and lovely residential area. The atmosphere was very relaxing after a long drive from Calais. If I was to make one constructive recommendation would be that the hotel is not very clearly sign posted which can be difficult for foreign visitors. I will definitely be staying again. The staff where very friendly lovely Dutch people as usual. The hotel also has a perfect pool, sauna and steam room. Facilities are amasing for the price. MAnagement should be proud of what they have achieved. I would recommend this hotel as the perfect stay over for families visiting Landal sites before the Monday.

Evening dinner had huge portions , over cooked, poor quality and limited choices. Bedrooms need modernisation, it is adequate, but looking tired. There was a portable ac in the room , but electric plug was hanging out side window as well as the outlet. Not very good for security

I loved the location surrounded by nature. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room had a beautiful view of the trees outside View from the restaurant is lovely Pool is warm enough and the sauna was nice I really liked it that you could easily reach the reception by calling ( so many hotels don’t have this anymore and can be annoying )

Location is beautiful and well positioned away from main roads in a classic part of town. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Staff spoke English which was useful as simple Aussie folk.

Finding a staff member to check in to the hotel was a challenge. We checked in after the dinner service had begun (which was not their fault), and there was no alternative food option available nearby - however the staff didn't offer any recommendations, which would prove very helpful for people unfamiliar with the area. Minor issues, it was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Hands down the best hotel in the Venlo area. I stay here around 4 times a year and have never been disappointed. The staff are exceptional. No request is ever too much. The location is very very leafy and peaceful, yet is in very close proximity to either the city centre or Germany. Finally the breakfast and facilities, such as gym, pool, sauna and steamroom are good. Thank you 😊

Lovely hotel Friendly, welcoming staff especially Barman/Waiter Herman who went above and beyond to help us. We didn’t realise the restaurant was not open on a Sunday and he helped get us food delivered to the hotel. When we did manage to have a meal at the hotel the following night the food was top class 10/10
