Everything!! After a very long day travelling with a baby we were welcomed by the lovely Lu who had upgraded us to a studio room, she had even just gone in a put the heater on for us so it was warm when we arrived. The room was extremely clean and tidy, very comfortable bed, great shower and just all round wonderful room and Lodge. We were sad we had our trip all planned and could only stay one night, we wished we could have stayed longer. We are already recommending to friends and family and will stay again if we make it back to New Zealand. Thank you for a very warm welcome Kelly Rd Lodge

Everything was perfect, nothing we didn’t like.

We did not have breakfast as we had our own. The staff were excellent and couldn’t be more helpful. They even helped us bring our suitcases( which were very heavy) downstairs and into our car.

The communication between Booking.com and the Kelly Road Cambridge Lodge could have been better. I asked for a ground floor apartment but that message did not filter through. The air conditioning could have been more efficient.

First impressions are very important, Kelly Rd met all expectations and more. Rooms are as seen on website and they don't disappoint as they are spacious and have an inviting feel. We had the 1 bedroom, which had a large bed that was super comfy and warm with pillows that finished it off. The living and kitchen area had everything we needed to cook a lovely breakfast and dinner. The bathroom was a nice surprise as it had a bathtub that I recommend trying and using the bath bubbles supplied. The shower was a great size with fantastic shower pressure. I enjoyed the supply of towels and the different lotions on offer. Parking was fantastic as there are plenty on off on site. We have a large vehicle which we were able to park in a side on car park practically right in front of our room. There were lots of guests but we didn't hear a thing which is music to my ears so I would say there was thought put into making sure there are some kind of sound barriers. The owner was lovely to deal with and made the stay a real pleasure. So much that we have booked in for next year and have decided to stay longer. We'll worth the long journey to get too, a hidden gem.

The internet! Perhaps it was just our room, I don't know, had trouble connecting and when connected was quite slow. Connection was lost continually and had to manually reconnect most times. It became all too difficult to bother with. Note that there were two different phones involved and haven't had a problem anywhere else in NZ.

The young man at check in was very helpful as we had brought our bikes to cycle the Waikato River Trail and they have an area to store the bikes - he arranged access for us early in the morning. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is our second time staying here and the room was immaculate, bed comfortable and kitchenette well set up.

New, modern, comfortable and clean. The largest sofa bed I think I have ever seen. Travelled for an event, so was disappointed I didn't get to stay in the room long enough to enjoy it!

The room was nice and comfortable, that returning from being on your feet all day you can relax on an actual couch, watch sky sport and have a nice cold beverage, the fridge / freezer was of good size that staying for 4 days you can have decent amount of food in the room. Nice to finish the evening off with a soak in the deep bath. Nice stroll to the township was enjoyable.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, had some great suggestions for dinner and always friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, at night you need to make sure the blinds are all pulled as there can be some bright lights on outside at night.

It was a great place to stay, the only thing that could have been better was if there were food options in closer walking distance.

Spacious bedroom and enormous bathroom, warm and very quiet despite our room on the ground floor fronting the road we didn't hear any traffic noise. Spotlessly clean. Coffee machine, the pods were replenished on Day 2 of our stay. Good off-street parking available.

The couch wasn't very comfortable. It seemed we had to pay for wi-fi access. (we didn't and our network provider reception wasn't that good in the room.)

The room was large enough to lounge and relax, with the bedroom separated by a door, which is lovely if you were there with your spouse and needed a level of privacy, allowing the other to watch TV while you went to sleep.

The kitchen facility had only two hobs which was challenging when trying to prepare some meals. But bear in mind this is a short-term stay (2 nights in my case) it was something that I could work with.
