We were very pleased that the hotel has a lift to the first floor (great for luggage) as well as easily accessible stairs, much appreciated. The room was very clean and had all we needed, including a kettle and cups. An unexpected bonus was a fully equipped, spotlessly clean, guest kitchen located just a few doors along the corridor. The room price was quite reasonable and included free parking and courteous, helpful staff. Thank you for a good night's rest.

The room looked a little dull. Perhaps a coloured cloth across the foot of the bed would make it look a little classier (as used in the best hotels)? It took us a little while to appreciate all the room's good points.

Excellent location right in the centre of Cambridge and close to cafes, restaurants and the Saturday market. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are modest but there was everything we needed for a comfortable two night stay. It was good to be at the back of the building away from the noise of the traffic. We were with a group so we very much appreciated being able to get together in the communal kitchen dining area.

If one had mobility issues it might be difficult accessing the accommodation as there are stairs (although there is a lift) and long corridors to navigate in order to get to the rooms.

Room very clean and other areas of motel too. They had a guest kitchen free for guests to use with all the appliances you can imagine and basic breakfast food like weetbix, cornflakes etc & bread and spreads for toast. Was very nice to be able to have a quick breakfast without fuss or expensive before leaving. Walking distance to shops and a great Thai restaurant in the same complex as the motel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a small problem but was fixed straight away. They went out of their way to fix, and were happy to do so, and didn't make me feel awful for asking which is very refreshing!

Very easy property to find, very simple facilities but very very well run motel. It had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The shared kitchen with coffee/tea facilities and breakfast cereals was a very welcome addition and the location was perfect. Close to many food options, right next to the square where the farmers market is held. Beds were comfortable, clean and the rooms perfectly adequate and sizeable. Def recommend this motel for an easy, no frills, no fuss but very tidy and comfortable place to stay.

The walls are slightly thin so we could hear the snorer next door (faintly at least).

Functional lift, clean and comfortable and very well situated. If needed, there are takeaways, liquor shop and a bakery within the same block and a bakery and a BP station across the road. There is also the Good George bar and restaurant just across the road. Good self operating kitchen and dining area with an outside deck. Really liked having windows that open to allow fresh air into the room

No plug in the bathroom handbasin and no hot water in the handbasins. Just ran cold.

I like the functionality of the en suite accessible accommodation that we had stayed in. My husband uses electric wheelchair, the shower area is with flat roll in floor and shower chair and hand rails. The room is slightly small but we managed to move the chairs to one side to create space so he can move around and to get in and out of the bed more easily. We like the availability of the shared kitchen and dining area of the motel guests kitchen. We were thankful for the bread and cereal and hot drinks that were provided that we could help ourselves to them. The lift worked well in bringing my husband (on his wheelchair) and our belonging to go upstairs to the room

The front entrance to the motel is not quite accessible for wheelchair. However, we adapted and used the mat on the front to place over the front raised floor. From where we had parked our mobility vehicle at the designated parking space near the front entrance of the motel, my husband had to wheel to the street pavement in order to be able to wheel on flat ground to the entrance (before the next huddle of getting to go up the step to enter the motel “lobby area”. Hopefully there are either flatten box or improvised platform (or a proper rubber rump) will be available to enable wheelchair users like my husband be able to enter the motel lobby more easily.

Room was spacious enough, the interconnected room was suitable, liked having a tv each. Loved being amongst the food outlets and gas station across the road. Communal kitchen was clean, had all you needed. The service was super. Other guests were friendly too. The main street, couldn't get lost. Parking at the back, safe no issues. Restaurants and bars close.

The stairs lol. No they were nice and wide. Lift was optional. Staff offered to carry my bag up the stairs. Awesome service

Very basic accommodation but ideal for us. We had two adjourned rooms (double and single in each room) for our family of 5. Kitchen / dining was on the other side of the hall - but wasnt noisy at all. One room had ensuite - small but adequate. Also had a air conditioning unit. Great to have a tv in each room though.

One of the bedrooms (without the air conditioning unit) did get stuffy and overly warm overnight. The smoking section on the balcony outside of the kitchen space meant that cigarette smoke came into the kitchen dining space ... and in our case across the hall into our accommodation. Also meant you walked through the smoking section to get to the non-smoking section of the balcony. Swapping these spaces would avoid smoke drifting into the inside spaces.

They were so accommodating. We needed to stay an extra 2 hours before we left so they chose to clean our room last to give us that extra time. We liked the shared kitchen idea, it gave us somewhere else to go instead of just in our room. It was very quiet, even though other peoples rooms were close, we didn't hear them and were able to sleep soundly. The motel met all our needs and we were so pleased we stayed there.n/a
