A very neat and tidy B&B just as described, value for money, kitchen has all the things you need extra bonus continental breakfast. Bathrooms were very clean towels included we had our own bathroom and our room was on the other of the lounge, separated from the other rooms. Huge lounge, wifi was flawless, huge tv & comfy sofas, older style accommodation enjoyed how the carpets were nostalgic. Accomodation was full booked during our weekend, comfortably safe and private while still using the facilities and meeting the others during the stay or going about things by yourself. Parking is safe we chose to park on the street. Thankyou for the great stay 👍🏽

The breakfast was good and filling. The location was good for my purpose of a place to stay on my way North for a night. The place is similar to a Kiwi bach with used facilities but totally adequate. The internet was fast and the big screen excellent. The A/C was very good as it was a hot day when I arrived. The bathroom was good. Maybe you might like to provide body wash as an extra? The price is what you would expect to pay for the facilities. It's not an upmarket place with shiny new stuff but is good for what it is. The closest dairy has decent fish and chips.

The lockbox has confusing instructions so I had to ring up. It suggests that you push the button and then remove the whole cover but it's only the central part so I would suggest rewriting the instructions by the lock box. A number of windows had notes to say don't open as the catches are broken so it would be good to see those repaired for good security and a home handyman could easily buy the catches from Mitre 10 and install them for low cost. There no real restaurants in Patea so I had to get food from the local dairy. There was no option to pay on arrival which is what I ticked when booking so I my credit card was charged which was not my preference. Overall I was happy with my stay

Victoria is welcoming, friendly and gave us excellent suggestions for the best views, activities and options for eating out in Patea. Good choices for an easy breakfast which were very welcome Home is surprisingly spacious, well presented and very comfortable.

Maybe a kitchen blind as sun was very bright on bench in morning.

Well concieved B&B, with private lockable bedrooms, a communal kitchen and lounge. We were fortunate enough to be the only guests, and so had the full house to ourselves. Victoria (owner) dropped by to make sure everything was ok, but otherwise left us alone. Will certainly come back if we're ever in Patea again.

Honestly, this was ideal - exactly what we needed.

Excellent stay here. House was well looked after and we'll equipped. Bedroom good size with plenty of space and air from patio doors. Bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and spacious. Shower good. Loads of towels. Longe and dining area very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and clean with everything functioning. Garden good and plenty of parking with easy access to the house. Shops nearby. Lovely walks, close to the beach.

Equipped with everything you need. The electric blanket was also a nice extra to have! Victoria was an excellent host, she sent through clear instructions and all the information we needed.

The front door was a little tricky at first but it was easy to use after the first try.

We were just passing throught, half way from welli to our destination. so only one night. liked it so much we rebooked for return journey (had to cancel due to flat tyre on a public holiday! > the staff were fine about this, so even more brownie points! ) The b&B was well kitted out with multiple cooking options ,indoor and out door spaces,off road parking next to property, Tv, wifi , library, cd's/player and local info., Some shared facilities , but if you are a sociable person no problem , we had a family room and our own toilet. (and exit door>french window) When we stayed there were no other guests., but could have kept to ourselves had we wanted to. Very affordable , clean tidy etc. . If you were a larger family/friends/reliees, woud be great . building has two toilets and 4 bedrooms (? ) also disabled access and disabled use toilet (check with property > I am not a realtor! I have more self respect ;) ) Annny way... would stay there again if I was in the area , and posssibly for several days . well worth the price . cheers. :)

the breakfast was limited, (bread and spreads) but we were not expecting one, and for the price, honestly, really no complaints at all.

The night we booked we had the whole place to ourselves the place was comfortable and the host could teach some other places we've stayed cleanliness lessons we would have no hesitation of recommending and staying there again ourselves breakfast was a great range and nice touch

Location was great for the kaupapa we were up there for. Other whanau members turned up not long after us because they had rented the room next door, so that was great. Very clean and tidy. Hassle free to enter with great instructions to use the key lockbox. Victoria was super helpful and had great communication.

I had the bottom bunk. I didn't have a very good sleep at all. The mattress sunk in the middle and then my neck was out of place from the pillows lol The blanket that was above the top sheet ((yes i could feel it through the sheet) old school army type blanket but the colourful one) had me scratching and irritated all night to the point that I thought there was bed bugs (there wasn't because when i took the blanket off, I was fine). I ended up taking it off the bed. This was only my bed. My friend and daughter had the best sleep.

The place was tidy, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the hosts fast and friendly communication. The beds were really comfortable. For the cost it was great value and included breakfast as well. Would definitely stay again if I was to travel to Taranaki again.

I had a small issue with the shower however, the host was quick to offer a solution and was very helpful.
