The host was extremely hospitable on the phone when we needed to stay an extra night. I had booked online for a different room because our original one was booked out. She called to assist me, and we were able to stay in the same room for 2 days. The 'extra mile' service and warm welcome are something we will remember and tell our whanau and friends about when we go home. The room was clean and welcoming. The spa bath was a treat after a 7 hour journey. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept soundly. The cleaners came in to freshen up the room, and the little touches of luxury were noticed!

Wow such a great place to stay! So clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, nice and open and sunny, large tv, comfortable couches, hot spa bath and super friendly reception when we arrived. The shower is super high pressure but felt great, and the spa bath was amazing. Plenty of parking space. Quiet. It was so so clean! It felt like being at my grandparents house :D

The only thing honestly was the proximity to the cell towers and the beds could have been slightly more comfortable! They just sagged a little in the middle but a new mattress wouldn’t go amiss.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit, it was clean, tidy and comfortable. Felt more like home that a hotel room. Beds were comfy and water pressure was good. Plenty of space in the rooms. Hosts are fantastic and more than accommodating for our 16 month old and supplied a cot with blankets, high chair, mess mat and a non slip pad for the bath.Room was serviced every day and restocked. Would 100 percent stay here again.

My only gripe is that the air con unit has a pump to pump out water and it's a bit loud at night.

Awesome stay here at Tudor Lodge Motel. After a long drive to matatini from Auckland and being in the sun all day all my family and I wanted was a nice shower and bed and this place was worth every penny!! The kind wonderful women (I think she may have been the owner) greeted me with a cheerful smile as well and was very accommodating. Thank you so much, Beds were so comfy! There was sky tv great for my kids and even had movies. My favorite was the shower. Such awesome water pressure. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was great. I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception, for our one night stay. Our room was absolutely wonderful. There was heaps of space in the room, with a well equipped kitchen. A lovely bathroom, with heaps of room and nice large towels. Excellent heating with the heat pump, a comfortable couch to sit on, and a very comfortable bed. Very quiet, with off-street parking and though there were others in most of the units, you could not hear any noise. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, well done to your cleaning staff. We really enjoyed our stay, after a very long trip and day. Thank you

Simple, clean and beautiful place! Easy access from parking to the unit, it is very convenient to unload and load stuff from your car :) the receptionist/manager ? Is very nice and welcoming 😃 I really really love that the cooking pots and pans they provide stainless and really clean!

Would be best if there is a sheer curtain before the blackout curtain for more privacy, as people can easily see though inside each unit.

It was a lovely room, parking was great, staff were super friendly. The shower pressure is fabulous as well. Was so easy to find and it's in a great spot. All of these things outweigh any changes I'd make I think.

We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit and it was really lovely, the only changes I'd make would be that every time your neighbour used the water it was SO loud in our room. The soap dispensers probably have seen their days and the bathroom needs an extractor fan or something because the tiles become quite slippery when you hop out of the shower from the steam.

Queen bed was comfy fit both me and my 11 month old god daughter my sister said she had a really good sleep in the room, really comfy, her blanket was nice and soft aircon made it so much better relaxing couches blankets were cuddly staff was fabulous especially when i arrived earlier than i mentioned but she was so cool about it. which made it extra relaxing

The lady staff member on the phone just made my check in so easy we travelled late and got in late but she made it so easy for us our room was lovely had everything we needed so worth the price, was perfect for our weekend thank you so much for making our night easy peasy that day was a long day will defs be back next time I’m in Taranaki

Clean room which was cleaned while we were out. Spacious and comfortable Lady at reception was super lovely, air con in the room was fantastic as it was really hot and we had gone for a walk so was lovely.

Oh maybe the kitchen rubbish bin could be a teeny bit bigger but other then that nothing really
